The Code of Honor- Ring of Honor Wrestling Recap + Review for January 31, 2015

The House of Truth (Truth Martini, J. Diesel and Jay Lethal) are upset that Lethal has to defend the ROH TV title against two men he;s already defeated. A.C.H. is one of those men, but he plans to take the title from Jay Lethal tonight!

Veda Scott guest on commentary for the first match of the night.

Moose defeated The Romantic Touch.

The Decade (Jimmy Jacobs, B.J. Whitmer and Adam Page) is in the ring. Jimmy Jacobs says that he is proud of the house he has built, but he doesn't understand how people can cheer for the likes of Alberto El Patron waltzing into Ring of Honor, Kevin Steen "walking" out and A.J. Styles coming and going as he pleases. Jimmy says that while Roderick Strong is trying to get back to the top of ROH, he and The Decade are going to look out for everybody else. Jimmy gives three wrestlers an opportunity to showcase their skills, but B.J. Whitmer grabs the mic and proposes a much better idea - FOUR guys should have an opportunity, and he brings in Chris LeRusso to fill in the void.

Chris LeRusso and The Decade (Jimmy Jacobs & Adam Page) defeated three talents that train in the ROH Dojo (their names were barely acknowledged). After the match, B.J. Whitmer attacks LeRusso and puts him in the Strong Hold, which is one of Roderick Strong's signature maneuvers.

Jay Lethal will defend the ROH World TV Title against Alberto El Patron (even if Lethal is not the champion by ROH's 13th Anniversary, he will still face Alberto).

Caprice Coleman guest on commentary for the next match.

Ashley Sixx defeated Dalton Castle to advance to the semi-finals of the Top Prospect Tournament. During the match, the two mysterious guys with orange masks who've appeared in vignettes for the past several weeks stood in the audience.

Adam Cole makes an appearance in ROH for the first time since Final Battle... with an broken arm. He looks in disdain, and walks around ringside for a steel chair, has a brief staredown with Kevin Kelly and Steve Corino before sitting in the ring. He holds the mic to his mouth as if he was going to talk, but he drops the mic, flips the audience off, and leaves...

Jay Lethal retains the ROH World Television Championship against "Reborn" Matt Sydal and A.C.H. in a three-way dance. Lethal and Martini attack A.C.H. until Alberto El Patron makes the save.

Making an iMPACT! - Impact Wrestling Recap for January 30, 2015

Bobby Roode kicks off the show. He has the World Heavyweight Title belt and admits it doesn't belong to him. He talks about how important the title is, how it was stolen from him and he wants revenge against Eric Young. Roode calls out Bobby Lashley and wants to settle it like men. Roode doesn't blame Lashley for any of this. Roode offers to give the belt back but wants a rematch. Lashley agrees and calls for a referee. Instead, Austin Aries comes out with the Feast or Fired briefcase that he won last week. Aries discusses how he is always full of options, and decides on whether he should cash in or sit backstage and watch Roode and Lashley rip each other apart for the title. MVP comes out, and he says that the title does not belong to Lashley, but it belongs to the Beat Down Clan. He's also tired of Roode supposdly "whining" about the World Championship. Lashley, who's had enough, realizes that all three men want a shot at the title, agrees to put the title on the line against Aries, Roode and MVP tonight.

Kurt Angle announces that it will Team Angle vs. Team BDC (Beat Down Clan) at Lockdown next week, and his team members will be named by the end of the night.

Kurt Angle gets Gunner to join his team by slapping him to "awaken the warrior within."

Rockstar Spud and Mark Andrews (now known as "Mandrews") are in New York City, and they plan to challenge Ethan Carter III and Tyrus to a tag team match.

Tommy Dreamer comes to the ring and calls out Eric Young. Young wants Dreamer to mind his own business. Young says Dreamer is full of BS and goes into their history on the road together. Dreamer tells EY not to burn bridges. EY says that being a good guy gets you nowhere and  calls him a fat loser from New York. Tommy Dreamer does not take a liking to this, and now he is looking for a fight. EY goe sin on the attack and hits Dreamer with a piledriver. Eric Young pushes a fan and fetches a steel chair. EY goes to hit Dreamer with the chair but Roode makes the save. EY ends up attacking the fan at ringside again before escaping.

The Hardys (Matt & Jeff) are ready for their Tag Team Title next week against The Revolution (James Storm & Abyss), but Jeff Hardy has to go through Abyss in a Monster's Ball Match. Jeff says that it is over for Abyss tonight!

Bram and Magnus meet up in the bar. Bram is still upset over not retrieving the briefcase last week. Magnus says that Bram would be better off if Bram controlled his attitude, and says that they are not eighteen anymore and that it is time to face more responsibilities. As Magnus and Bram leave the bar, Bram tells Magnus to wait for him outside... only for him to be blindsided by Bram. It was set-up!

Jeff Hardy defeated Abyss in a Monster's Ball Match. During the match, The Revolution (James Storm, Manik, Khoya and The Great Sanada) interfere only for The Wolves (Davey Richards & Eddie Edwards) to clear the ring of The Revolution.

The Hardys are prepared for next week...

Austin Aries does not think that Lashley done him a favor for granting him a shot at the World title, but he did make a mistake.

Season Two British Bootcamp winner Mark Andrew and Rockstar Spud were scheduled to face EC3 and Tyrus, but instead they get The Bromans (Robbie E. & Jessie Godderz). Andrew and Spud pick up the win, but get attacked by EC3 and Tyrus, and EC3 says that Rockstar Spud will never face him in a match, but set up a handicap match between Tyrus and Spud & Andrew in a the Steel Cage!

Mandrews is distraught as an enraged Rockstar Spud tells Ethan Carter III through the camera that he isn't a loser.

Bobby Lashley retains the title against Bobby Roode, Austin Aries and MVP. After the match, . EY comes out and attacks Roode while the referee isn't looking. EY leaves as Roode is left laying. Aries goes for a dive but Lashley spears him to retain the title. After the match, The BDC come out and attack Roode, Aries and Lashley. Gunner and Kurt Angle make the save. Team Angle vs. The BDC is announced for Lockdown. Lashley turns down the team invite and says he will never team with Angle. Lashley leaves to end this episode.

Triple H shows up to start the show. He talks about the recent snowstorm, Raw emanating live from the WWE Headquarters as result, and the WWE Network achieving one million subscribers. After making fun of the New England Patriots deflated football controversy by repeatedly mentioning balls, he says that he will confront Sting at Fast Lane. He also mentions the aftermath of the Royal Rumble match, and announces that next Monday on Raw he will make a stunning announcement that will "likely shake the WWE to its core" and end the controversy. After this, Roman Reigns shows up. He says he won the Royal Rumble match, and that Triple H saw it. Triple H says he knows that he did, then tells him "Let's see if you can win this one." Big Show then comes down the ramp.

Roman Reigns beats Big Show.

Vince McMahon announces that the WWE Network will be free for all of February for new subscribers.

Seth Rollins shows up with J&J Security (Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble). He may not have won at Royal Rumble, but he broke Brock Lesnar's rib and he still has the Money In The Bank briefcase. He's in a good enough mood to issue an open challenge to anybody in the back, which is almost immediately answered by Ryback. Ryback is immediately jumped by both Rollins and J&J Security. Erick Rowan and Dolph Ziggler try to make the save, but they fare no better. Ryback almost hits Shell Shocked on Rollins, but Rollins is able to retreat with the assistance of J&J Security.

Kane tells Daniel Bryan that their feud will not have a happy ending tonight, and describes what he promises will be D-Bry's fate in their Casket Match tonight.

Tyson Kidd beats Jey Uso.

Rusev is in the ring. He feels cheated after the Royal Rumble match. Both Lana and Rusev are now yelling in Russian, and Rusev says he should be the one facing Brock Lesnar. He then says John Cena has no hunger or desire like he does. As he continues to trash talk Cena, Cena shows up and tells him to shut his mouth, and that he made a big mistake saying he had no hunger or desire before telling him to either put up or shut up. Lana and Rusev retreat after Lana tells Rusev not to waste his time on Cena, but Cena tells them he's not a waste of time and that he'll see him at Fast Lane.

Renee Young interviews Paige, who will be taking on Nikki Bella for the Divas title at Fast Lane...but The Bella Twins (Brie and Nikki Bella) show up and wreck it. Paige fights them, but The Bellas easily have the numbers advantage.

Underground Sound: Lucha Underground Recap + Review for January 28, 2015

The show starts with Cage pumping up weights in the back area. Dario Cueto shows up during his training session and wishes him luck against Prince Puma. Cage says that he will win it... because he's a machine.

Fenix defeated Mil Muertes with a surprise roll-up, handing Mil Muertes he second pinfall loss since debuting in Lucha Underground.

Cage will take on Prince Puma later tonight!

Bael, Cisco and Cortez Castro defeated Aerostar, Superfly, and Argenis in six man tag team action!

It's time for the Ringside View with color commentator Vampiro, who is with Prince Puma and , Konnan. He asks Prince Puma how he feels after the blindside attack from Cage last week. Konnan interrupts, saying the Puma is pissed. He believes that Puma is going to put Cage in the hospital. Vampiro gets tired of Konnan intervening for Puma and stealing Prince Puma's shine. Konnan does not take a liking to this, and says that if Vampiro gets in his business again, he's gonna get some, too which provoked Vampiro and Konnan to go face-to-face.

Prince Puma vs. Cage for the Lucha Underground Championship ends when Cage pushes the referee. After the match, Cage destroys Puma. Konnan comes in and hits Cage with his cane, but wounds up getting demolished, too (and has a busted skull... blood everywhere!).

Dario Cueto is peaking at the main event from his office when the mysterious chick that has been sitting in the audience for the past couple of weeks appears out of nowhere. Cueto has no idea who she is, but she is looking for a man... who goes by "Matanza". Cueto, who is confused about her motives, still does not know who she is talking about, and she disappears quickly from the office.

Here are highlights from tonight's show!

Review

Sup, everyone and welcome to the January 28, 2015 edition of the Lucha Underground Recap! Tonight's was very refreshing, since all that crazy riff raft with WWE earlier this week, it was a pleasure to just sit back and enjoy an hour of great wrestling and storytelling. Tonight's topics I'll be covering are: Cage's destruction, feud re-ignition(?), and the Conquest for "Matanza". Without further ado, lets get started.

Cage's Destruction!

Man, in just three weeks of being in Lucha Underground, Cage has proved himself to be one of the most dominant forces in the company. Just think about it: won an impressive debut in a Fatal Four-Way match, blindsided Puma after his first title defense against Fenix, and now tonight he challenged the champ for his title. However, if you paid attention to the match, you could tell that it was not Cage's intentions to win the title... but to destroy Puma. Of course, being the top dog in a company, you're going to have a tremendous target on your back, but Puma's been the main target long before he even won the Lucha Underground title - which means that Cueto's looking to do anything in his power to rid himself of Puma (and any other Luchador(a)s that he chooses as well). Lets not forget about that brutal attack the Konnan as well. Earlier tonight, Konnan said in an heated interview with Vampiro that Cage was gonna wound up in the hospital. Ain't it funny how things turn around? Now, HE'S the one who is being sent to the hospital!

Feud Re-Ignition?

With the ending of "Cage's Destruction" bring me to my next topic for tonight's show. I looked up Vampiro's career and found out that he and Konnan actually had a real-life feud back in 2005, when the two were big wrestling stars in Mexico. Apparently, Konnan did not like how Vampiro came and "took his spotlight" and how he was granted a part in a Mexican novela (soap opera). Vampiro did not receive the part, due to his lack of fluency in Spanish. To be honest, I think it is cool how things are coming full circle after ten years. I personally would like to see these two go at it, but after all the things that their bodies have endured over the years (both have nearly 30 years of experience), I do not think that an actual physical will take place, unfortunately. But, that doesn't mean that we can't see a face-to-face confrontation, right?

The "Conquest for Matanza"

The word Matanza means "slaughtering" or "killing", so when Angela Fong (the mysterious chick who's been checking out numerous matches in the audience for a few weeks) mentioned this "Matanza" to Dario Cueto, of course he was going to say "I don't know." I feel that there is someone behind this, and we will only get more clues in the coming weeks. Also, I wonder what Angela Fong's roles will be in Lucha Underground. Will she be in action? Will she be a valet? Whatever the case, I'm excited to see her on TV again. Back to Matanza, she described him as a man, which was the only description that she gave, which means that the Matanza can be any Luchador (or Luchadora) on the roster! We do not know who she's talking about, but let me tell ya, I'm cooking up a few suspects right now.

That's it for this week's review folks and as I say keep on flyin'! LUCHA! LUCHA! LUCHA!

Regal introduces a no-contact clause, and threatens to cancel the match if they lay a hand on each other. Sami Zayn signs, but Kevin Owens simply stares at Zayn. Zayn says he should have seen this rivalry coming, but he didn't. Nevertheless, he plans to destroy him at TakeOver. Kevin Owens looks at the contract, and says he wants it to be an NXT Championship match. Sami Zayn asks Regal to make the match for the title, as he wants that and so does the NXT Universe. Regal makes it so, and Kevin Owens finally signs before throwing the pen in Zayn's face. Owens leaves the ring, and Regal has to hold Zayn back to keep him from laying a hand on Owens.

Gettin' RAW: Monday Night RAW Recap for January 26, 2015

Results courtesy of Prince Watercress!

Gonna be honest with ya folks. Did not tune in to this episode of RAW, because it was basically going to be full of stuff I know was going to happen. Instead, I engulfed myself  into free Indy wrestling streams such as: FWE's ReFueled Night 2, Smash Wrestling's Challenge Accepted, and CHIKARA streams as well.

JBL performs a hilarious weather forecast from the top of Titan Towers.

We look back at John Cena vs. Seth Rollins vs. Brock Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match from Royal Rumble.

Michael Cole interviews Seth Rollins, who says he deserved to be in the Triple Threat match at Royal Rumble and did everything he could in his attempt to walk out as WWE World Heavyweight Champion. He says even Brock Lesnar underestimated him, as he still has the Money In The Bank Briefcase. He also says he's not budging out of his seat for Brock Lesnar's interview after the break, and says he'll have to kick him out of the seat.

Daniel Bryan takes on Kane in a Casket Match this Thursday on SmackDown.

Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman show up. Seth Rollins taunts Lesnar by toppling the chair over when he shows up, then leaves. Lesnar says he suffered a broken rib, but he was able to overcome it. Heyman says that Lesnar is for hire if Triple H and Stephanie McMahon need an answer for anything. Lesnar says he respects nobody, as he is "The Beast." He also hopes Roman Reigns is up for the challenge at WrestleMania 31, because he is.

We look back at the Royal Rumble match.

Byron Saxton interviews Roman Reigns. He compares his career with learning to swim: he's been thrown in the deep end and he's had to claw his way up. He also says he's bred for this business much like a lot of his family.

After Royal Rumble, Rusev interrupted Cena during an interview and got in his face. This lead to a very tense staredown between the two, and now they face each other at Fast Lane.

Triple H has called out Sting for a face-to-face confrontation at Fast Lane.

Arnold Schwarzenegger is the next inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2015.

Dean Ambrose has somehow made it into the studio.

Dean Ambrose tells Byron Saxton he hitchhiked to WWE Headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut after he found out Raw was live over there.

Renee Young interviews Daniel Bryan. We hear about Daniel Bryan's road from last Royal Rumble to now. Bryan feels he has let the fans down by being eliminated early, but says that if Roman Reigns can make the same sacrifices that he's made, he could win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 31.

Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar are in the same room. Paul Heyman takes over on the interview, and states that he's known Roman's family longer than Roman himself, but says Roman has no idea what he's up against. Roman tells Lesnar he'll beat him at WrestleMania 31, and if he can't, he'll take a piece of Lesnar down with him. Lesnar and Roman stare down and shake hands, then Lesnar tells Roman that unlike Heyman, he doesn't respect him. Roman says he will.

Review:

Sup, everyone and welcome to the January 24, 2015 edition of the Ring of Honor Wrestling review. First off, let me just apologize for not review ROH last week. That was a total bummer on my part. Now, the key things I am going to shine some light on in this review are: a shocking debut, continuation of the Top Prospect Tournament, and Alberto El Patron's in-ring debut. Without further ado, lets get down to it!

A Shocking Debut...

This episode of Ring of Honor Wrestling started off with a bang when long-time rivals The Briscoes and The Kingdom faced off in tag team action. The Briscoes scored the DQ win when The Kingdom just blatantly attacked one of the bros with the "Title of Love". The highlight of the whole entire melee is when freaking ODB made her debut in Ring of Honor, with her eyes set on the self-proclaimed Queen, Maria Kanellis-Bennett. To take you guys back a couple years, Maria entered a rivalry with perhaps one of the best female wrestlers to ever lace up a pair of boots: Sara Del Rey. Unfortunately, their rivalry was suddenly put to a halt when Del Rey signed a contract with the WWE as the female trainer for WWE's developmental territory, NXT. Now, it seems that history is sort of repeating itself, and hopefully, we can get some length into this newly created female rivalry and hopefully we can  see a one-on-one encounter between these two ladies? Either way, I'm all for ODB in ROH, and as she says, she is One. Dirty. Briscoe.

Continuation of the Top Prospect Tournament!

Round one of the Top Prospect Tournament continues with young gun Mikey Webb taking on the 12-year veteran (and the man with insanely low levels of hygienics, so it seems) The Beer City Bruiser! Needless to say, this match was a hard-hitting one, especially with The BCB dominating a great portion of the match (it took Webb most of the match to knock the 300-pounder of his feet). Webb was able to get some offense in, but the Bruiser was almost always there to stop his momentum... yikes! The Beer City Bruiser gains the victory to advance to the semi-finals. I don't know about guys, but this guy is definitely one of my favorites to win the tournament... all bad hygiene aside.

Alberto El Patron's in-ring debut!

FINALLY! Alberto El Paaaaaaaaatron makes his highly-anticipated debut against one of the founding fathers of Ring of Honor, Christopher Daniels. Man, this match was a classic! El Patron has not missed a beat and to be perfectly honest, ROH may just be the company that can bring out the absolute best in him. I did not thikin for one second that the main event would be as incredible as it was. A definite five star match, indeed. But, the 800-pound Gorilla in the ring was the fact that the Television Champion Jay Lethal was on commentary during the match and demanded an apology for the way Alberto so-called "disrespected" him last week. El Patron won the match with his signature armbar and afterwards, he and Lethal face off in the ring once again, this time El Patron handing him a taste of his own medicine by attacking him. Lethal's H.OT. stablemates  J. Diesel and Truth Martini come down to the ring to take out El Patron but The Addiction send them running for the hills!

I must say, I am interested to see where this feud goes. I'm more than positive that these two will face off one-on-one in the ring, and when it happens, it will definitely be a match to watch!

Well, that's it for this week, folks. I'll be back next week with another ROH review. HONOR LIVES!

Lashley accepts the challenge, but first, Kenny King asks his comrades in the BDC - MVP, Low Ki, and Samoa Joe - to join him at ringside for this match.

Kenny King vs. Lashley ends when The Beat Down Clan (MVP, Samoa Joe, Low Ki) attack Lashley. MVP tells Lashley that if he wants the TNA World Heavyweight Championship back, he'd better find him on the streets of New York City and fight him there, as he considers the fans unworthy of seeing such a fight in the ring.

Havok vs. Gail Kim ends when Havok flagrantly disregards the referee. When Havok attacks Gail Kim some more, Awesome Kong shows up, and the two of them brawl with Kong coming out on top.

Khoya beats Tigre Uno in his TNA debut. After the match, James Storm calls out Jeff Hardy, saying he has beaten his demons in the form of drug abuse, but he's stronger than any demon that Hardy has come across.

Kurt Angle and Bobby Roode can't see eye to eye concerning the recent turn of events, and Angle tells him that they have to cooperate tonight or they're going to lose their tag match.

Rockstar Spud is amazed with how he's gone from British Boot Camp winner to Dixie Carter's Chief of Staff to potential TNA champion. If he gets fired, he'll make sure to get his parting shot on Ethan Carter III.

Eric Young and Low Ki beat Bobby Roode and Kurt Angle when MVP and Samoa Joe distract Kurt Angle after Angle gets a steel chair away from Eric Young.

MVP tells Lashley to meet him on 34th Street, where they'll fight one-on-one

When the match begins, EC3 "commentates" the match. JB takes the match and tells him he can't commentate and hits him with the microphone, but EC3 ends up beating him down. EC3 then spits on Spud, and Spud fights EC3 only to be attacked by Tyrus. All of a sudden, British Boot Camp Season 2 winner Mark Andrews shows up, and together with Spud, they take down both EC3 and Tyrus.

Matt Hardy reverses the Eye of the Storm into an Inside Cradle to beat "The Cowboy" James Storm. After the match, Storm wants to shake his hand, but Hardy tells him to shove it. Abyss shows up and attacks Hardy from behind so Storm can hit the Last Call Super Kick. Abyss then reaches underneath the ring and pulls out Janice, but Jeff Hardy shows up with a steel chair and takes down Abyss. Jeff Hardy then suddenly challenges Abyss to a Monster's Ball match next week.

MVP is still waiting. He tells Samoa Joe that he's got Lashley.

The Feast or Fired briefcases are opened. Rockstar Spud gets the X Division title shot, and Magnus gets the Tag Team title shot.

After the break, Robbie E remembers that Velvet Sky got his briefcase for him, and makes her open it. She gets fired, and Austin Aries gets a World Heavyweight title shot.

Lashley and MVP finally fight in the street, but it's all a trap as the rest of The Beat Down Clan (Samoa Joe, Low Ki, Kenny King) and Eric Young jump Lashley and MVP jons in. Kurt Angle and Bobby Roode run the BDC off, and Roode finds the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. He looks at the title, then has a staredown with Lashley.

They're glad to be back. Soon after, Kane, Big Show, Seth Rollins and J&J Security (Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble) show up. Kane then makes some Royal Rumble qualifying matches: one between Ryback and Rusev, one between Erick Rowan and Luke Harper (during the break after this) and one between Ziggler and Bad News Barrett, which happens next. Ziggler, Ryback and Rowan must each win their matches if they want to participate in the Royal Rumble match.

Dolph Ziggler defeated Wade Barrett to qualify for the Royal Rumble match.

He says Andre The Giant was a true giant, but Show is scared little man trapped in a giant’s body, and he’s not looking to take Show’s spot. Reigns says he is carving his own path and he’ll go through Show first, because it’s one versus all, and he’s the one who will win the Royal Rumble this Sunday.

Fandango draws his Royal Rumble number and looks thrilled, then he makes out with Rosa for her help, but Dean Ambrose walks in and switches his number.

Goldust and Stardust get their numbers for the Royal Rumble match.

Luke Harper defeated Erick Rowan, thus meaning that Rowan cannot qualify for the Royal Rumble match.

The Royal Rumble match, by the numbers.

Damien Mizdow apologizes to The Miz for mimicking X-Pac last night, even though he acknowledges the WWE Universe loved it and cheered. Miz tells him he's a stunt double, and that nobody cheers for him. As he leaves to get another coffee. The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) show up to ask him if he would go over the rope along with The Miz if Miz were eliminated in the Royal Rumble match.

Daniel Bryan defeated Kane, thus keeping his spot in the Royal Rumble. Big Show comes out and attacks Bryan. This leads to a huge brawl with the entire locker room coming out. The Superstars left standing after that brawl were Ziggler, Reigns, Bryan, Ryback, Big Show, Kane and Dean Ambrose. SmackDown ends with just the babyfaces standing tall.

My Predictions for Royal Rumble 2015

The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods)
vs.
Cesaro, Tyson Kidd and Adam Rose

Despite such a brief rivalry, things are getting heated between these two teams and things will only get more... positive?

Winner: The New Day will probably win this one.

The Royal Rumble

30 men. Only 1 will be left standing The winner gets a shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at the biggest stage of them all: Wrestlemania. Who will win it all?!

Winner: Daniel Bryan, all the way!

Triple Threat Match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship:
Brock Lesnar (c) vs. John Cena vs. Seth Rollins

What was originally a singles match for the WWE World Heavyweight title between Cena and Lesnar became a Triple Threat match after Triple H decided to reward Seth Rollins for manipulating Cena into bringing him and Stephanie McMahon back into power. Rollins still has the Money In The Bank Briefcase, and even if Rollins still doesn't win the match, he can still cash in and possibly win the title.

Winner: As much as I hate to say this, I see Cena picking up the title for an eleventh time (UGH.). However, I can't help but seeing Seth Rollins trying to cash in. I mean, why wouldn;t he at this point?

WWE Tag Team Championship:
The Usos (c) vs. The Miz & Damien Mizdow vs. Gold & Stardust

With Naomi out of the picture and a second tag team title reign under their belts, things seem to be flying high for The Usos, while The Miz & Damien Mizdow are having some issue coexisting as unit. Goldust and Stardust, well... maybe they're still obsessing over the Cosmic Key?

Winner: The Usos  retain!

Paige and Natalya vs The Bella Twins (Brie and Nikki Bella)

Despite tension between these two on Total Divas, two of the top Divas in the division Paige and Natalya have been able to be an cohesive unit. The Bellas, however, are not impressed and look to take down who they call "The Crazy Cat Lady" and "Vampire" (or as Paige says, Glampire).

Winner: The Bellas by a straw,

The New Age Outlaws ("Road Dogg" Jesse James and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn)
vs. The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor)

For weeks, The Ascension have been gloating about how they are the greatest tag team to ever lace up a pair of boot. Now, they have to get in the ring with one of the most popular tag teams in WWE history. YIKES!
Winner: I'm sure that The Ascension will pull out a win

Underground Sound - Lucha Underground Recap for January 21, 2015

Cisco & (Mr.) Cortez Castro defeated Pimpinela Escalarta & Mascarita Sagrada. During the match, Big Ryck watched the match from the steps.

After the match, Big Ryck grabs the mic says that no matter the friends or the enemies, that he will make it to the top. Los Demonios (Cisco, Bael, and Cortez Castro) did not take this too well, and they dropped the bomb by attacking Big Ryck. Castro capitalized on the attack by smashing Big Ryck with a kendo stick. The trio left the temple an headed straight for Dario Cueto's office.

Dario Cueto is amazed by the scheme work of Los Demonios (Bael, Cortez Castro, and Cisco) and hands each of them a chunk of money and Dario says that he has much more plans for taking out Big Ryck, and the trio replies with a resounding, "Yes, sir."

Color commentator Vampiro interviews Cage. Cage says that he is not here to make friends, but to be the best. Vampiro points out the attack that Cage did on Lucha Underground Champion Prince Puma, and wonders if Cage is willing to take on Puma one-on-one for the title. Cage dismisses the wonder and says that when you're in the ring with him, you're in the ring with a machine. Vampiro then calls him a future Lucha Underground Champion. Future champ, indeed,

Pentagon, Jr. defeated Super Fly with the packaged piledriver. After the match, Pentagon grabs the mic and says that he thought of Chavo Guerrero as a legend and criticizes him for betraying his at Aztec Warefare, but that he will get his revenge ans that he has... NO FEAR!

Sexy Star defeated El Mariachi Loco with the small package.

King Cuerno defeated Drago in a Last Luchador Standing Match when Drago cannot beat the ten down, due to being tied down to the ringpost by Cuerno.

REVIEW!!!

Hello everyone and welcome to the January 21st, 2015 edition of my Lucha Underground Review. Main topics of the show I'm going to be touching on tonight is: Cage's future, Pentagon's ascension, the ultimate betrayal and the end of a saga... or is it? Without further ado, lets get down to it!

Cage's Future!

Cage appeared on a segment with color commentator Vampiro interviewing him. Since Cage has attacked Prince Puma from behind after his first title defense against Fenix last week, Cage looks to put himself in the title picture... quickly. However, he's only had one match - which was rather impressive, but I do not think that this push should be too quick. I feel that he should continue to dominate in matches and work his way up the food chain, and maybe building up a feud with Prince Puma along the way. Ya see, I'm a fan that likes a build-up, a chronological order of what happens in a storyline before it leads up to the grand finale. In this case, I definitely see Cage being promoted as this destructive machine, but lets not put him in the title picture just yet. Give him some time to get a reaction from the fans, and most definitely give more ring time. These two things can only hep him for his futur in Lucha Underground.

Pentagon's Ascension!

NO FEAR! After being stabbed in the back by Chavo Guerrero with a steel chair, Pentagon, Jr. now realizes that if he wants to get to the top, then he's gonna have to do it alone. I am very high on this guy right now, and for many reasons. He has tremendous in-ring ability, charisma that matches up with his dark and badass persona, and all Spanish aside, this guy has great mic skills. His match against Super Fly tonight was nothing short of impressive, with his mixture of luche libre with the hard-hitting Puroresu style, and on a side not: THOSE CHOPS WERE INSANE. Man, this guy truly has it all in my book, and I would not mind seeing him taking on Chavo Guerrero one-on-one. Hell, he may very well be a top contender for the Lucha Underground Championship. Can't wait to see how far he can go Lucha Underground.

The Ultimate Betrayal!

In the beginning of the show, Los Demonios, which consists of Bael, Cortez Castro and Cisco betray their now-former stablemate Big Ryck by attacking him in the middle of the ring and then headed for Dario Cueto's office, and then Cueto awards the trio with chunks of money. What does Cueto have up his sleeve now? What is the motive behind this attack? What does he have against Big Ryck? Is this just the beginning of a big change to come for Lucha Underground?  So many questions, but very little answers about this new story. Either way, I'm ready to see what Big Ryck has to say about this next week, that's IF he comes back next week...

The End of a Saga... or is it?

Tonight's main event was a Last Luchador Standing Match between arch rivals Drago and King Cuerno. This match was the same in greatness if not better than there encounter last week, which led to a no contest. I am a mark for both of these men, because of the in-ring psychology between the two. You guys may not see it, but I sure do! I mean, how can two guys pull off back-to-back great matches without one knowing what the other's going to do, Cuerno's craftiness gotten the better of Drago tonight, when Drago was tied down to the ringpost, which prevented him from standing. I feel that this rivalry isn't over, and that it is going to continue, especially after the way the main event ended tonight. Oh, for sure, Drago's going to avenge this defeat.

Well, that's it! Until next week, keep on flyin'! LUCHA! LUCHA! LUCHA!

Gettin' RAW: Monday Night RAW Recap for January 19, 2015

WWE remembers Martin Luther King, Jr.

Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman start the show, and Lesnar immediately calls out Seth Rollins. Rollins has ten seconds, and he doesn't show up...but Triple H does. He wants Brock Lesnar to calm down and also wants to put the whole thing with last week's contract signing behind them. Lesnar asks Triple H if he's here to fix this or if he's here to fight. Stephanie McMahon, Kane and Big Show try to de-escalate this, but Seth Rollins appears on the TitanTron and tells Lesnar to wait for his shot at him at Royal Rumble. Heyman tells Rollins to "let the adults speak" and says Lesnar will still be champ after Sunday night. John Cena shows up and says the plot to get rid of him as well as the recent guilt-tripping concerning the firings of Dolph Ziggler, Ryback and Erick Rowan won't work, then calls HHH and Stephanie "the world's biggest ash-holes." Stephanie tries to guilt-trip Cena again, saying he's not the Cena he used to be, and Seth Rollins says that nobody wants to see Cena win. Cena says we'll see about that, and that if he wins the title on Sunday, then Ziggler, Ryback and Rowan get their jobs back. Triple H decides to make a match tonight, and if he wins it, they're re-hired. If he loses, they're still fired and he's no longer in the title match at Royal Rumble. Triple H then decides to hold a WWE App vote to see if people want him to risk his title opportunity this Sunday to get them re-hired.

Bray Wyatt defeated Daniel Bryan, thanks to an interference by Kane. After the match, Kane attacks D-Bry.

Triple H takes a phone call before Kevin Nash and Scott Hall walk in, and they reminisce about old times and Nash asks him to run around with them tonight. Shawn Michaels walks in and says he should actually get on the Legends Panel tonight, then Damien X-Pac-dow comes in and does a bunch of crotch chops. The real X-Pac walks in and has a little fun with it, and they mime each other until The Miz says Sandow is his stunt double, no one else’s. Nash and everyone laugh and he says he can’t believe this is the show HHH runs, and HHH holds his forehead and chuckles along.

Byron Saxton welcomes everyone to the Royal Rumble Legends panel, and panelists Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair and Shawn Michaels enter the ring. HBK and Hulk say John Cena should get to win the three fired Superstars’ jobs back, but Flair says no. They talk about Flair winning the 1992 Royal Rumble and how great it was, then Saxton asks HBK and Hulk about their Rumble wins too. HBK says he thinks Bray Wyatt is the person to win the Rumble this year, then HBK and Hogan exchange some words and resolve it quickly. Hogan says his pick is Daniel Bryan, and Flair says he likes guys that walk on the wild side, and he is picking Dean Ambrose. Big Show walks out and says he knows why they didn’t pick him to win, and he beat Hulk for the World Title his first night in WCW, and that haunts him. He says Flair was the man, but he took Flair out of his top spot, and Flair hates that, so that brings him to HBK. He says HBK slowly faded out of the picture because he would have eaten him alive, then he calls them all washed up has-beens, begging for attention. Show says he is winning the Royal Rumble, then Flair asks if he is done yet and starts chopping him and wooing, and Show knocks him out. Show says this is their fault, then Roman Reigns enters through the crowd and checks on Flair, then Show says he will get hurt. Show says he will knock Reigns out if he doesn’t leave, so Reigns starts teeing off on him before clotheslining him out of the ring.

Renee Young interviews John Cena and reveals the results of the App vote. With an 85% vote of yes, Cena will be having a match later tonight.  Cena's reacts, saying that the most important part of WWE is the Universe, and they want to see him fight.

Dean Ambrose defeated Wade Barrett with Dirty Deeds.

We look at the Royal Rumble match, by the numbers.

A New Day (Kofi Kingston & Big E.) defeated Tyson Kidd & Cesaro. After the match, the Rosebuds join A New Day in celebration.

This Thursday on SmackDown: Kane vs. Daniel Bryan in a no disqualification match!

The nWo (Scott Hall, X-Pac, Kevin Nash) come out to the ring. Scott Hall starts it off with having the fans participating in a survey: asking the fans whether they came to see the RAW Reunion or did they come to see the n-W-o. Of course, the latter question was the unanimous answer and he thanks the fans for playing. Big Sexy points out that he and the nWo singlehandedly ushered in the Monday Night Wars and hints that we fans can view this on the WWE Network for $9.99 (a la Triple H). X-Pac hypes up the crowd until The Ascension (Konnor & Viktor) interrupt. They say that they are the tag team that ais going to change the business. JBL does not take this too lightly, and he criticizes The Ascension for coming in from of legends trying to change the business. He also says that he made a phone call to another legend... longtime tag team partner, Ron Simmons! The New Age Outlaws ("Road Dogg" Jesse James & "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) come out and are disappointed that they weren't invited to this melee. The Ascension get their butts handed to them, ending with JBL hitting his patented "Clothesline From Hell" on Viktor!

The Authority (Stephanie McMahon & Triple H) announce John Cena's opponent(s) for later on tonight. With the annoying (and longest) drumroll, Cena's opponents are not other than Authority members Seth Rollins, Kane and Big Show in a 3-on-1 Handicap Match. The Authority will also be at ringside to watch the destruction of John Cena. A random guys blows "Taps" afterwards... wait what is this?

The Bella Twins (Brie and Nikki Bella) guest on commentary for the next match.

Paige and Natalya defeated Summer Rae and Alicia Fox with the PTO,

The Royal Rumble kick-off match will be The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods, Big E) vs. Cesaro, Tyson Kidd and Adam Rose.

Rusev defeated R-Truth with The Accolade.

Rollins runs into Lesnar backstage again. Lesnar hopes Rollins takes Cena out tonight, so he can take Rollins out Sunday.

Jey Uso defeated The Miz.

The New Age Outlaws ("Road Dogg" Jesse James and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) will take on The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor) at Royal Rumble.

John Cena defeated Seth Rollins, Kane and Big Show in a 3-on-1 handicap match, thanks to the distraction by "The Vigilante" Sting, thus giving Dolph Ziggler, Ryback and Erick Rowan their jobs back per stipulation. Triple H is livid, not believing what has happened! He wants Sting back out, but he gets Brock Lesnar, who has his sights set on Rollins, who he immediately attacks. Big Show and Kane hold him back, but Brock takes them down, with Lesnar hitting the F5 on the Big Show to end the show.

Makin' an iMPACT! - Impact Wrestling Recap for January 16, 2015

MVP comes out with his crew and says he’s always known it’s been him against the world, so he’s a genius and he surrounded himself with people who have an appetite for success. He calls Samoa Joe and Low Ki his family, and they have had highs and lows together, but they are together called ‘The Beat Down Clan.’ MVP says they’re nothing to… mess with, and he wants to introduce their world champion, but he has other business to deal with first. MVP introduces Eric Young, and Eric says no one’s opinion matters, and he couldn’t stand in the ring with MVP a month ago, but he respects him. He says MVP took something away from a brother, and when he (EY) was champion, he took care of Roode first. Eric says when Roode won the title back, he didn’t return the favor, and he was in the hospital because he defended Roode, and all he got was a text message. Eric says he actually did get the truth, and he took what Roode cared about most, so tonight he is taking everything else. MVP then introduces new champion Bobby Lashley, but Lashley doesn’t walk out, and instead they get Kurt Angle on the stage. The camera crew is standing outside of a dressing room. Manik comes out of the room and motions the crew into the dressing room. James Storm introduces the world to his newest disciple, Mahabali Sheera, who's power and destruction will be unleashed next week!

MVP calls out Bobby Lashley and he shows this time. MVP says he got Lashley everything he has. MVP says The BDC (Beat Down Clan) owns the World Heavyweight Title. Lashley says the title is his. Lashley wants nothing to do with this and MVP is offended. They hug but Low Ki attacks and Lashley gets beat down by the group. Ki hits a double stomp to the back and MVP hits him with the belt. As they leave, MVP says the title doesn't belong to Lashley, it belongs to The BDC.

Seth Rollins decides to Curb Stomp Heyman instead, saying it's a smart idea as taking Heyman out of the equation will make Brock Lesnar all brawn and no brains at Royal Rumble. Heyman tells Seth Rollins that Triple H and Stephanie McMahon have been taken out of power once and that it can happen again, especially when Heyman himself has gained power from ending The Undertaker's undefeated WrestleMania streak and led Brock Lesnar to a WWE World Heavyweight Championship reign. As long as Lesnar has the World title in his hands, Heyman has some semblance of power in the WWE.

Gettin' RAW: Monday Night RAW Recap - January 12, 2015

The show in New Orleans - the first since WrestleMania 30 - starts with John Cena entering the ring. He's glad to be back in New Orleans, but he's not glad that Triple H and Stephanie McMahon are back in power and his Survivor Series teammates are fired. He knows none of them deserve to be fired, and so does the crowd. He wants everyone at home to use #AuthoritySucks on Twitter to drive the message to Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. As for Cena, he has a Plan B: winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Royal Rumble, then taking his ball and going home with the title until Dolph Ziggler, Ryback and Erick Rowan are re-hired. Triple H and Stephanie show up and mock his efforts, saying that Cena knew what he was getting into when he fought against them. They give Cena another chance, however, as "they didn't want to fire those guys last week." All Cena has to do is win his match tonight: a one-on-one match against Seth Rollins that Triple H turns into a Lumberjack match. HHH then brings out the lumberjacks, as the match is next.
