Ultima Lucha, Pt. 2 - The Finale recap for August 5, 2015

This episode is dedicated to the original rudo, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper.

Sports analyst and writer Michael Schiavello takes Vampiro's place on commentary for the night.

Johnny Mundo beats Alberto el Patron with a surprise assistance from his longtime partner Melina Perez, who has not been in a ring in nearly five years. After the match, the two lip lock in the ring. Alberto comes from behind and throws Mundo outside the ring and attacks him, and slams his head into a window (much like what Mundo did to him). Melina throws a drink at El Patron and fights back, before he turns her around and spanks her. Alberto winks at her and stands tall.

Dragon Azteca finds Black Lotus in the cell. Once she asks him whether he was coming for her, Dario Cueto shows up with the key to Black Lotus' cell. Suddenly, Black Lotus chokes out her trainer, putting him out. Pleased with what he sees, Dario finally releases her from the cell. She refuses to leave with him, since she "got what she wanted". Black Ltous asks Dario what is he going to do about his "brother". He uses the key to unlock Matanza's cell...

Pentagon, Jr. beats Vampiro in a Cero Miedo match. As Pentagon grabs the mic, Vampiro calls for Pentagon to break his arm, which he happily obliges. Afterwards, he tells his master that he has finished what he promised. Vampiro grabs a mic, and says that Pentagon is ready, thus revealing that he has been his master the entire time, and says, "You are ready, my son."

Fenix, beats Big Ryck, Bengala, Jack Evans, King Cuerno, Aerostar and Sexy Star to become the inaugural Lucha Underground Gift of the Gods Champion! During the match, Marty "The Moth" Martinez gives Sexy Star a hard time, and Delavar Daivari turns on Big Ryck.

Before Blue Demon, Jr. takes on Texano, Blue Demon Jr. hands announcer Melissa Santos a card. In it is a message from Dario Cueto, stating that due to Blue Demon, Jr.'s status, this match is officially no-disqualification.

Blue Demon, Jr. beats Texano in a no-disqualification match thanks to Cortez Castro, Mr. Cisco and...Chavo Guerrero, who blasts Texano with a chair and lets Blue Demon, Jr. get the last shot on Texano.

Mil Muertes beats Prince Puma to win the Lucha Underground Championship!

Epilogue

Dario Cueto and Black Lotus high-tail it out of Cueto's office and out of the Lucha Underground temple. They take with them Cueto's brother, the demon Matanza...

Meanwhile, Fenix cruises around in his Pontiac Firebird, with the Gift of the Gods Championship in tow. A man in a cowboy hat driving an old Ford F-series truck follows him...

Marty "The Moth" Martinez has kidnapped Sexy Star, and has plans to have her meet his sister...

Son of Havoc tells Angelico they're getting the Trios titles back, and that he'll see him on the open road. He then leaves the temple along with Ivelisse.

Best-of-five series rivals Aerostar and Drago see each other off. Drago goes back to the underworld, while Aerostar heads back into space.

Vampiro tells Pentagon Jr. that they are going to a darker place...

A man in a hoodie spraypaints a question mark on the Lucha Underground billboard.

The last thing we see is Dario Cueto himself, with all the lights going out, followed by "To be continued..."

Here are the highlights for tonight's show!

Underground Sound - Lucha Underground recap for July 8, 2015

Pentagon, Jr. is talking  with a mysterious figure, who seems to be his master. He says that Vampiro is not the man that he once was, and he vows to destroy him at Ultima Lucha.

The Mack gets an upset victory over Cage with a quick roll-up.

Son of Havoc is in the locker room as a finger reaches out and touches him. It is revealed to be Catrina's, as she says that not only are the Disciples of Death are coming for the Trios titles, but 1,000 deaths will be coming for him at the expense of Mil Muertes. Ivelisse tells her to back off, and as she grabs for Catrina, the lights suddenly go out and Angelico walks in to his partners (and former couple) being in a rather uncompromising position, which makes Angelico think that they are getting back together... which they deny.

Vampiro interviews Pentagon, Jr. He apologizes for attacking him several weeks ago. He compares Pentagon's dangerous ways to his early days as a wrestler. However, Vampiro says that he's a changed man and that his demeaning days have passed. Pentagon, who has refuted questions the entire interviews, nearly gets physical with Vampiro (who, shockingly enough kept his cool) before storming off.

Mil Muertes beats Son of Havoc. During the match, the Disciples of Death attack Ivelisse and Angelico at ringside following a distraction by Catrina.

Texano is in the ring. He says that he has always been Mexico, despite not being trusted by the ones that are closest to him, and that the last thing he will do is turn his back on his people. He says that he doesn't care about them, but he hates Chavo for being a traitor against his country. Suddenly, The Crew (Mr. Cisco & Cortez Castro) attacks Texano until Blue Demon rushes to his aid, only for him to turn his back on Texano and joins forces with The Crew. He grabs mic and says that he, not Texano is Mexico, and he is going to have to fight him to prove his worth.

Drago will take on Hernandez at Ultima Lucha!

Team Mundo (Johnny Mundo, Super Fly, Hernandez and Jack Evans) beats Team Alberto (Alberto El Patron, Sexy Star, Aerostar and Drago) in an Atomicos match.

Prince Puma will meet Mil Muertes face-to-face next week!

Pentagon attacks Vampiro from behind and hits him with a chair. Pentagon says that Vampiro is afraid of him, and then reaches for some gasoline. After douching the gasoline on Vampiro, Pentagon lights a lighter and says that he has one week to decide on whether he wants to fight him at Ultima Lucha, so he can deemed as a sacrifice to his master. The show fades right when Pentagon looks to drop the lighter on Vampiro.

Here are highlights from tonight's show!

Underground Sound - Lucha Underground recap for May 13, 2015

Dario Cueto is in his cell with a mysterious piece of red cloth, which signifies a great deal of power... just as much power as the Aztec gods. He may even just give it to that one warrior that he seems fit.

Aerostar beats the debuting Jack Evans in an impressive match with a Canadian Destroyer-like piledriver from the top rope.

The Mack and Big Ryck are in the locker room. Mack becomes curious about Ryck's stacks of cash and asks him, "where'd he get he get that green at?". Big Ryck says its his business, and advises his cousin that if he wants to make it big in the business, he has to keep his eye on the money.

Fenix, King Cuerno, Sexy Star, The Mack, Cage, Kill Shot and Pentagon, Jr. are in the ring. Dario Cueto emerges from his office and says that the reason for this match is that the prize - Aztec Medallions, but only of them holds a key to immortality. With this, he states that the winner of this match will be the holder of one of the medallions.

Fenix beats Sexy Star, Pentagon Jr., Cage, King Cuerno, Kill Shot and The Mack to win one of the Aztec Medallions!

Dario Cueto has Son of Havoc, Ivelisse and Angelico in his office. He admits to having a little admiration for the dysfunctional trio. since The Crew (Mr. Cisco, Bael and Cortez Castro) beat Son of Havo and Angelico last week, they are now the number one contenders for their Trios Tag Team Titles. Angelico addresses Ivelisse's broken leg, but Ivelisse says that she doesn't need her legs to fight. With this, Ivelisse and company accepts the title defense, and Ivelisse is (reluctantly) helped out of the office.

Meanwhile, in the locker room, Fenix is deep in thought when Catrina appears from the darkness. She tells Fenix that he made a mistake burying Mil Muertes, and that the latter needed Fenix's 1,000 lives in order to live. Now, that Mil Muertes has been resurrected, she says that he is out to get him. As Fenix reaches for her, she disappears back into the darkness and suddenly, masked banshees lurk on the top of the lockers...

Hernandez vs. Alberto El Patron comes to an abrupt halt when Johnny Mundo shows up and attacks Alberto El Patron, and smashes his head into the window of  Dario Cueto's office! Despite this, the match continues with Hernandez simply pinning a busted open El Patron for the win, thus staying number one contender. El Patron had to be carried out by the paramedics to end the show.

Underground Sound - Lucha Underground recap for May 6, 2015

Johnny Mundo and Alberto El Patron are in Dario Cueto's office. They both feel that they deserve a shot at Prince Puma's Lucha Underground Championship. El Patron goes as far as to say that he deserves a shot more than the actual number one contender, Hernandez, who sleazed his way into changing the standard triple threat match into a #1 contender's match last week. With this, Dario Cueto holds up slips of paper with both their names on them, setting up the main event match for tonight, in which the winner will face Hernandez next week to determine the true number one contender for the Lucha Underground Championship.

Ivelisse, who is on crutches due to a leg injury, sits in the audience and torts out orders to her partners.

The Crew (Cortez Castro & Mr. Cisco) beats Son of Havoc & Angelico.

Dario Cueto now has DelAvar Daivari, the man who took out Texano a couple of weeks ago. Cueto acknowledges him for his bravery, and sets up a match between the latter and Texano tonight. Meanwhile, in the locker room, Konnan blasts Hernandez for what he did in Prince Puma's title match against Drago last week. Hernandez felt that he saved his title match, but Puma isn't trying to hear any of it. Dario Cueto overhears the fuss, pleased with what he hears, and sets up Hernandez and Puma to tag against Cage and King Cuerno later tonight.

DelAvar Daivari beats Texano by disqualification with Texano pushes the referee to get to Daivari. The two brawl in the ring afterwards.

Cage and King Cuerno beats Prince Puma and Hernandez after Hernandez powerbombs Prince Puma on the turnbuckle and takes a walk out of the match, leaving Puma to fend for himself.

Black Lotus is still determined to leave and fend for herself, but El Dragon Azteca refuses to see her suffer the same fate as her parents. He then give her the ultimatum - if she beats him, she can leave. After a short series of blocks from both sides, Dragon Azteca gains the upper hand, and says that she has a better chance of survival than her parents if she stays with him. Reluctantly enough, she blows out her candle and stays.

Alberto El Patron beats Johnny Mundo in a fast-paced, chaotic match to earn the right to face Hernandez to determine the true number one contender to Prince Puma's Lucha Underground Championship!

Catrina sends a cryptic message about the afterlife. She is standing in front of a casket, which revealed to has the deceased Mil Muertes inside. She orders Ricky Banderas to come back alive as Mil Muertes, and just like the famous Frankenstein scene, he comes back to life.

Underground Sound - Lucha Underground recap for March 25, 2015

Son of Havoc beats Angelico, and he dumps Ivelisse in the process, stating that she is the reason that he has been losing matches.

Dario Cueto has been very impressed by a man, who is revealed to be Shawn Hernandez. Dario extends a warm welcome to him, and gives Hernandez a special seat at ringside for the Boyle Heights Street Fight Match main event tonight.

Alberto El Patron beats El Texano, Jr. via the armbar submission to retain the AAA Mega Championship in a Bullrope Match!

Konnan is training extensively with Prince Puma for his title match tonight as he envisions his previous encounters with the challenger, Cage. Hernandez stops by and reunites with his former manager and introduces himself to Puma, who is seemingly reluctant to accept his greeting. Konnan tells Puma to focus and encourages him to win his match.

Before the main event title match, Lucha Underground proprietor Dario Cueto emerges from his office and introduces the brand new Lucha Underground title belt, replacing the first one that was desecrated by Cage.

Prince Puma beats Cage to retain the Lucha Underground Championship, much thanks to the help of his mentor Konnan and the debuting Shawn Hernandez, whom Cage called out during the match. Konnan presents Puma with the new title belt to end the show.

Here are highlights from tonight's show!

Underground Sound - Lucha Underground Recap for March 4, 2015

Dario Cueto is excited about Alberto El Patron's debut match in Lucha Underground... and his sacred temple. He proposes matches against the likes of Famous B, but Alberto angrily disapproves. He wants one man in the ring... El Texano, Jr. Cueto reluctantly accepts El Patron's request.

Mil Muertes beats Fenix. Afterwards, Mil Muertes signals for Catrina to do her signature "Lick of Death" on Fenix, but defies him, only to be grabbed up in a chokehold. She drops the rock (which possesses some kind of power), and is rammed to corner of the ring. Fenix grabs the rock and makes the save, laying Mil Muertes out with the Enziguri. Catrina does the "Lick of Death" on Mil Muertes and then kisses Fenix once again.

Konnan will seek revenge!

Ivelisse is in Dario Cueto's office, and she thinks she deserves a shot at the title. Cueto disagrees, saying that she's only won one singles match against Angelico, and she would have to prove herself worthy of a title shot.

Prince Puma is training backstage. Alberto El Patron interrupts and makes it simple: he's coming for the Lucha Underground Championship.

Big Ryck beats Sexy Star after Ryck simply sets her down and pins her, thus earning a three-on-one match with The Crew in the near future. The Crew (Bael, Cisco, Cortez Castro) attack Big Ryck. Sexy Star briefly joins in before being laid out by Cisco. Big Ryck explodes with a comeback before the trio scurry out of the rin.

We look at the background of Alberto El Patron, who looks to achieve more greatness in America by conquering Lucha Underground, but on his own terms.

El Texano beats Alberto El Patron via disqualification when the referee catches El Patron with Texano's bullrope.

The mysterious Luchador who had Black Lotus gagging in the trunk of his car last week wants a cage match against Johnny Mundo next week. Dario Cueto accepts his request.

Underground Sound - Lucha Underground Recap for February 11, 2015

Dario Cueto chats with Alberto El Patron, who has some things to get off his chest tonight.

Fenix defeated Argenis with the piledriver. Catrina crawls into the ring in a possessed sensual style on top of a beaten Argenis, staring at Fenix as she does it. Fenix makes a run for it, while Catrina sadistically looks on.

Alberto El Patron arrives as he makes his Lucha Underground debut tonight!

Catrina is walking backstage when she runs into Mil Muertes. She tells him that he needs to - before she finished her sentence, Mil Muertes grabs her up in a chokehold and yells at her in Spanish before putting her down. Moments later, Mil Muertes is walking down the halls and Chavo Guerrero happens to pop up. Muertes grabs Chavo by his neck and slams him against the walls.

A mysterious man is asking God to forgive him, for he is going to sin. Throughout the promo, there are vignettes of The Crew (Bael, Cisco and Cortez Castro) attacking Johnny Mundo and Big Ryck. At the end of the promo, Big Ryck appears, smoking his cigar and saying that he is going back to the Old Testament and he makes it simple: "Vengeance shall be his."

Mariachi El Bronx performs for the crowd!

Son of Havoc says that Dario Cueto has finally gave him some real competition, and he will dedicate his win to "the baddest bitch in the building", his girlfriend Ivelisse. His opponent? Johnny Mundo!

Johnny Mundo defeated Son of Havoc, much to the dislike of Havoc's girlfriend Ivelisse. Out of nowhere, King Cuerno dropkicks Johnny Mundo from behind, attacks him to hit "The Thrill of the Hunt".

Pentagon, Jr. defeated Ricky Mantel via Submission and nearly broke his arm much like he did to Famous B last week. he grabs the mic and says that he dedicates himself to his "master."

Alberto El Patron comes out to a thunderous ovation from the fans in the Temple, with the AAA World Heavyweight Championship in hand. Alberto calls the audience his family and that he is finally here in Lucha Underground. He talks about his legendary wrestling family including Mil Mascaras and Dos Caras and how they taught him about the passions about the wrestling business, and how he became a wrestling icon in the country he had to conquer, the United States. He says in Spanish, "Back there, they embraced me, but when I turn around they stabbed me in the back." and that he is the first Luchador to hold every major title in North America. He refuses to be held back because of the color of his skin or getting the job (but he boldly says that he gets the job done), and that the Revolution of Alberto El Patron has begun, but out of nowhere, Alberto's  rival El Texano, Jr. makes his debut and attacks him from behind.

REVIEW

Sup, everyone and welcome to the February 11, 2015 edition of the Lucha Underground recap. Things are heating up tonight, especially with highly-anticipated debut of Alberto El Patron and various feuds throughout company. Topics that I will be focusing on tonight are Big Ryck's vengeance, Catrina's sadistic desires, and Alberto El Patron's debut. Without further ado, lets get started.

Big Ryck's Vengeance

One of the highlights of tonight's episode, in my opinion is the backstage promo with Big Ryck. A couple of weeks prior to this, The Crew (Bael, Cisco, and Cortez Castro) turned their back on Big Ryck, much to the satisfaction of Dario Cueto. Throughout the promo, there were vignettes shown of The Crew doing their dirty work. All I have to say is, The Crew had better have eyes in the back of their heads, because now Big Ryck is going OLD TESTAMENT on them, and as he said in his promo: "Vengeance shall be mine." Oh, I cannot wait for him to return. I feel that something memorable is going to happen, and I'm glad that he said his prayers, because he's going to be doing some major sinning!

Catrina's Sadistic Desires

So, we've seen a good amount of Catrina on the big screen more than usual tonight. First, she peered up at ringside during Fenix's match against Argenis, and she sexually and creepily crawled on top of Argenis after the match. Also, she got into some sort of an "altercation" with Mil Muertes, who grabbed her up in a chokehold, but she seemed to enjoy it. To be honest, I do not know what is going to happen and who is going after who, but I know that someone's going to left broken and battered afterwards. Maybe Catrina has some sadistic Fenix fetish or something (haha). Another thing that I learned is that never mess Mil Muertes when he is angry (and Chavo Guerrero found that out tonight)!

Alberto El Patron's debut

Alberto El Patron's debut tonight was nothing sort of awesome! He came out to a thunderous ovation from the crowd in the Temple and he was able to get some things off his chest that's been on his mind for quite some time. In his promo (which is much better than his promo work I've heard in the past), there was one thing he said that stood out to me, which he said in Spanish, "Back there, they embraced me, but when I turn around they stabbed me in the back." When he said this, I knew exactly who he was talking about... his situations with the WWE. Since being released, he has had some critical things to say about the WWE - from the pay to the underutilized talent (to who he says that they should go to the Indies if they had the talent, because money has to be made). I can tell that he is happy where he is, and if ya ask me, I think that this a great move by Lucha Underground to sign El Patron. Another thing that stood out to me was the blindside attack by El Texano, Jr., whom Alberto beat for the AAA World Heavyweight Championship. This debut was not acknowledged, which makes things a bit more interesting. I can come up with a good number of scenarios: such as El Texano, Jr. and Alberto El Patron going at it for the AAA title in Lucha Underground, which can be huge for both promotions, or the two having a deep storyline to continue their feud from AAA, which is also good for both companies. Whatever the case, El Texano, Jr.'s attack changed the complexion of things, and things will only get more intesne in the coming weeks.

That's a good load for you guys this week. Tune in next week for another Lucha Undeground review. LUCHA! LUCHA! LUCHA!

Underground Sound - Lucha Underground Recap + Review for February 4, 2015

Mariachi El Bronx peforms to start the show.

Son of Havoc and Ivelisse are in the ring. Ivelisse grabs the mic and says that she is tired of fans saying that Son of Havoc sucks on Twitter. She says that she doesn't date losers, and if anyone has a problem with him then they have a problem with "the baddest bitch in the building"!

Angelico defeated Son of Havoc with a surprise roll-up.

Dario Cueto welcomes back a figure to Lucha Underground, who is revealed to be Johnny Mundo. Cueto can tell that Mundo's ready for action. Mundo is looking to be the champion, but there has to be a new belt...

Pentagon, Jr. es ciero miedo....

Pentagon, Jr. qucikly defeated Famous B via Submission. After the match, he grabs the mic and says that he gives his loyalty to his master and that he has zero fear!

Dario Cueto is backstage with a key around his neck, who seemingly knows something about "Matanza".

Drago defeated Aerostar. The two men shake hands after he match.

Johnny Mundo takes on Cage for the first time ever tonight!

Fenix is training with the punching bag. Catrina sneaks up on him from behind, which cause Denix to turn around in shock. She asks him about his tattoo, and ponders about what would make a man scared if he wasn't dead. She then kisses him, and warns him to keep it between them, because if he (Mil Muertes) finds out, then they'll both be buried alive.

Cage vs. Johnny Mundo ended when King Cuerno interferes and attacks Mundo. Cuerno continues to go in for the attack, he hits Mundo in his knee. Cage leaves whe Dario Cueto comes out and restarts the match.

Cage defeated Johnny Mundo after the restart of the match with a variation of the Gory Bomb.

Backstage, Dario Cueto welcomes a new luchador to Lucha Underground, who is none another than Alberto El Patron!

Review

Sup, everyone and welcome to the February 4th, 2015 edition of the Lucha Underground review! As always, Lucha Underground continues to deliver and they continue to get better with each passing episode. Tonight's main topics I'm going to be covering are: Cuerno targeting Mundo, continued "Conquest for Matanza", Catrina's motivations, and the arrival. This hsoule be a relatively short one, but I'll make the best of it. Without further ado, let's get started!

Cuerno Targeting Mundo!

Tonight during the main event of Cage vs. Johnny Mundo, King Cuerno was watching the match from the rafters of the Lucha Underground Temple. Why? Well, we will find out nearing what seemed to be the end of the match, but Cuerno sets his target on Mundo, attacking him ruthlessly with a chair, injuring his knee in the process. This not only shows that Cuerno is on the hunt more than ever, but he may have a bone to pick with Mundo. Whatever the case, this was an interesting scenario, and now I want to see Mundo's reaction to the attack.

Continued "Conquest for Matanza"

Last week, the mysterious lady appeared in Cueto's office looking for Matanza. However, it seems that Cueto is on the hunt for Matanza. I have many scenarios for how this Matanza mystery will pan out. One: the mysterious lady is posing a trap. Two: "Matanza" may be someone on the roster. Three: Dario Cueto may know about Matanza. To sum it all up, the possibilities are endless...

Catrina's Motivation

As Fenix was training with the punching bag, Catrina appears out of nowhere and seduces him with her beauty and sadistic desires. She shares a kiss with him, but tells him not to tell anyone about it. So, my thing about this is what is the story behind Catrina kissing him? I think that this is all a set up, because of Fenix defeating her main squeeze, Mil Muertes last week. However, maybe there is something that Catrina feels about Fenix, and she may use her seduction tactics to take him under her wing.

Arrival of Alberto El Patron!

He's heeeeeeeeeeeeeeere! Finally. Alberto El Patron makes his Lucha Underground debut, but where does he go from here? Now, lets not make the assumption that Alberto's going to be the huge star of Lucha Underground. Is he a viable candidate? Yes! Should he be pushed into it? No! To be honest, having someone in the caliber of Alberto El Patron can only make things better for the company, especially since Alberto is already familiar to American wrestling fans (WWE, anybody?). Also, Luch Underground has helped Alberto a great deal behind the scenes with problems with his former employer, WWE so what better to pay back for all the help? I am very excited to see Alberto El Patron in a company that is clearly his comfort zone. and I know he is looking to tear the house down!

Well, that's it for me, folks. Until next week, keep on flyin'! LUCHA! LUCHA! LUCHA!

Review:

Sup, everyone and welcome to the January 24, 2015 edition of the Ring of Honor Wrestling review. First off, let me just apologize for not review ROH last week. That was a total bummer on my part. Now, the key things I am going to shine some light on in this review are: a shocking debut, continuation of the Top Prospect Tournament, and Alberto El Patron's in-ring debut. Without further ado, lets get down to it!

A Shocking Debut...

This episode of Ring of Honor Wrestling started off with a bang when long-time rivals The Briscoes and The Kingdom faced off in tag team action. The Briscoes scored the DQ win when The Kingdom just blatantly attacked one of the bros with the "Title of Love". The highlight of the whole entire melee is when freaking ODB made her debut in Ring of Honor, with her eyes set on the self-proclaimed Queen, Maria Kanellis-Bennett. To take you guys back a couple years, Maria entered a rivalry with perhaps one of the best female wrestlers to ever lace up a pair of boots: Sara Del Rey. Unfortunately, their rivalry was suddenly put to a halt when Del Rey signed a contract with the WWE as the female trainer for WWE's developmental territory, NXT. Now, it seems that history is sort of repeating itself, and hopefully, we can get some length into this newly created female rivalry and hopefully we can  see a one-on-one encounter between these two ladies? Either way, I'm all for ODB in ROH, and as she says, she is One. Dirty. Briscoe.

Continuation of the Top Prospect Tournament!

Round one of the Top Prospect Tournament continues with young gun Mikey Webb taking on the 12-year veteran (and the man with insanely low levels of hygienics, so it seems) The Beer City Bruiser! Needless to say, this match was a hard-hitting one, especially with The BCB dominating a great portion of the match (it took Webb most of the match to knock the 300-pounder of his feet). Webb was able to get some offense in, but the Bruiser was almost always there to stop his momentum... yikes! The Beer City Bruiser gains the victory to advance to the semi-finals. I don't know about guys, but this guy is definitely one of my favorites to win the tournament... all bad hygiene aside.

Alberto El Patron's in-ring debut!

FINALLY! Alberto El Paaaaaaaaatron makes his highly-anticipated debut against one of the founding fathers of Ring of Honor, Christopher Daniels. Man, this match was a classic! El Patron has not missed a beat and to be perfectly honest, ROH may just be the company that can bring out the absolute best in him. I did not thikin for one second that the main event would be as incredible as it was. A definite five star match, indeed. But, the 800-pound Gorilla in the ring was the fact that the Television Champion Jay Lethal was on commentary during the match and demanded an apology for the way Alberto so-called "disrespected" him last week. El Patron won the match with his signature armbar and afterwards, he and Lethal face off in the ring once again, this time El Patron handing him a taste of his own medicine by attacking him. Lethal's H.OT. stablemates  J. Diesel and Truth Martini come down to the ring to take out El Patron but The Addiction send them running for the hills!

I must say, I am interested to see where this feud goes. I'm more than positive that these two will face off one-on-one in the ring, and when it happens, it will definitely be a match to watch!

Well, that's it for this week, folks. I'll be back next week with another ROH review. HONOR LIVES!
