WWE Elimination Chamber - The Results

I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack! I'm kicking my blog back into gear by beginning with the results to Elimination Chamber! Results courtesy of my good friend, Prince Watercress!

Rusev is confirmed as out and unable to compete tonight after suffering an ankle injury in his match with Ryback last Thursday on SmackDown.

Kane tells The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) that all three of them will be in the Elimination Chamber Tag Team Match for the WWE Tag Team Championships. Xavier Woods almost ruins it for them when he asks for a bigger pod so they can all fit, as Kane tells them that they can go first or second so it's not a problem. Big E covers Xavier's mouth, and Kofi says "Don't worry, we'll fit."

Tamina and Brie Bella are officially barred from ringside in the Triple Threat Divas Championship match.

Stardust beats Zack Ryder with a new finisher, the Queen's Crossbow (which is really the Cross Rhodes).

Tom Phillips interviews Lana for #AskLana. She says she has genuine interest in Dolph Ziggler, and that she is being less judgmental after what she did during her time with Rusev. As for leaving Rusev, she says it's bittersweet but she chooses to be free and happy.

Summer Rae introduces The Miz, who has returned to host a special edition of Miz TV. Tonight's guest is Daniel Bryan. D-Bry says he'll be back when Miz says his career is over and that he feels like the victim. D-Bry also says he's been writing a book, and Miz then tells D-Bry to make himself a cash cow. D-Bry responds by telling Miz to shut up and says he's here to present the Intercontinental title to whoever wins it tonight. Miz tells D-Bry he should be lucky he can't touch him, and that D-Bry should listen to him, but Daniel Bryan counters by saying that Miz TV is boring. Luckily, he has an idea to liven it up...Macho Mandow and Curtis Axel, the latter now known as Axelmania. Axelmania and Macho Mandow run wild on Miz, and Axelmania, Mandow and Daniel Bryan do a group crowd appeal afterward.

Eden Stiles interviews Dean Ambrose. Tonight, Ambrose has nothing to lose and everything to gain, and he plans to punch Seth Rollins in the face. Roman Reigns shows up and tells Ambrose he's in his corner tonight, so all he has to worry about is Rollins.

JBL gets us up to speed on how an Elimination Chamber match goes before the event starts.

The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) retains the WWE Tag Team Championships against Los Matadores (Fernando and Diego), The Lucha Dragons (Sin Cara and Kalisto), The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor), Tyson Kidd and Cesaro and The Prime Time Players (Darren Young and Titus O'Neil) in the first ever Tag Team Elimination Chamber match.

Lana greets Dolph Ziggler backstage, and tells him it's all about him tonight. Ziggler hopes that soon, it'll be all about them.

Nikki Bella retains the WWE Divas Championship against Naomi and Paige.

In what is probably the biggest shocker this year since Seth Rollins won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, Kevin Owens beats John Cena in a Champion vs. Champion match. After the match, Kevin Owens tells the WWE Universe that he started a fight with Cena and that he finished it, then gives Cena veteran advice: it's time for him to go, as his time is gone and Owens' time is now, and that the real champ is here.

Before the next match, Bo Dallas tells Neville that all he wanted to do was help, but he denied him. Now, he plans to force him to Bolieve.

Neville beats Bo Dallas.

Triple H tells Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose that if Reigns gets involved in Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins, Ambrose will get disqualified.

Mark Henry replaces Rusev in the Intercontinental Championship Elimination Chamber Match.

Ryback beats King Barrett, R-Truth, Mark Henry, Dolph Ziggler and Sheamus to win the vacant WWE Intercontinental Championship! During the match, Sheamus' pod door won't open, but it's all a trick as Sheamus removes his Celtic cross necklace from the door to open it, revealing that it was a trick to help him buy some time as well as a way to keep the pod door ajar so he can use it as a shield just in case. After the match, Daniel Bryan and the WWE Universe agree that Ryback deserves it, and Daniel Bryan awards him the title. Ryback thanks Daniel Bryan, calling him an inspiration.

In two weeks at Money In The Bank, Kevin Owens and John Cena will have a rematch! Also, Dolph Ziggler, Neville, Roman Reigns, Randy Orton, Kofi Kingston and Sheamus will face off in the Money In The Bank Ladder Match!

Despite Dean Ambrose wiping out both Seth Rollins and the referee with a top rope manuever, another referee shows up and makes the three-count just in time, and Dean Ambrose beats Seth Rollins to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship...almost. The first referee is back up after the match and explains that he got hit because Rollins pushed him in front of Ambrose. Dean Ambrose still wins, but it is by disqualification and Seth Rollins still retains. Ambrose isn't okay with this, and almost falls victim to the numbers game of Kane, Rollins and J&J Security (Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble) when Roman Reigns arrives. In the end, Ambrose takes the title with him, and he and Reigns leave through the WWE Universe.

Underground Sound: Lucha Underground recap for May 20, 2015

Prince Puma beats the debuting Marty "The Moth" Martinez. Hernandez shows up, and Konnan grabs the mic and calls Hernandez nothing but a "son of a bitch" and says that "he makes lambs look dangerous". He says that if he wants to go at Prince Puma for the title, then they can go at it. Hernandez, with a smug look on a face, looks to fight another day.

Vampiro interviews Johnny Mundo. Vampiro cuts to the chase and asks Mundo why he smashed Alberto El Patron's head through the window. Johnny Mundo says that he did to make a statement. Vampiro digs deeper into the situation, which causes Mundo to get a little tense. Mundo says that he has busted his ass from Day One, and feels that Alberto just waltzed right in and took the spotlight, and says that despite Alberto being a second generation luchador, he is still the best in Lucha Underground.

Dario Cueto has The Crew (Bael, Mr. Cisco and Cortez Castro) in his office. He makes it simple: he wants his boys to win the Trios Tag Team Championship in the main event Ladder Match.

Texano beats Delvar Dalvari via disqualification when Big Ryck attacks Texano from the apron. It is revealed that not only Big Ryck has been paid off by Dalvari, but he has formed an alliance with him.

Dario Cueto is in his office when fingers run down his shoulder, which are revealed to be Catrina's. She notifies him that Mil Muertes is alive... and that he's more powerful and stronger that ever. She also says that she wants Mil Muertes in a Death Match to get his revenge against Fenix. She suddenly disappears when Cueto looks over his left shoulder, but gets devious-eyed over the news. Meanwhile, Black Lotus is roaming the streets as she continues to prepare for revenge on Matanza, the man who killed her parents. While, El Dragon Azteca is reading through her dairy entries, Chavo Guerrero, Jr. appears and says that if he wants Matanza to die, then he'll need his help.

Chavo Guerrero is having a drink with El Dragon Azteca. He talks about his rich family history, which he says has been painted in blood. Dragon Azteca knows of this, and see his family as nothing but dirty liars. Chavo counters this argument, saying that they are familia. As the two continue their conversation, the lights dim...

Ivelisse, Angelico and Son of Havoc beats The Crew (Bael, Mr. Cisco and Cortez Castro) to retain the Lucha Underground Trios Tag Team Championship in an incredible Ladder Match, when an injured Ivelisse retrieves the titles from the top of the ladder.

Gettin' RAW - Monday Night RAW recap for May 18, 2015

Triple H shows up to start the show along with Stephanie McMahon, who makes her first appearance on Raw in a while. Stephanie says she's happy to be back, especially after Seth Rollins' victory at Payback. They pay tribute to Rollins with "Seth Rollins: Architect of a Dream." They then pull the black cloth off the table behind them to reveal the WWE Intercontinental Championship, and declare that the vacant title will be defended at Elimination Chamber in two weeks time in an Elimination Chamber Match after Stephanie makes fun of Daniel Bryan's injuries. Suddenly, Sheamus shows up, talks about how he "ended Daniel Bryan's career," says an Elimination Chamber Match isn't necessary, and demands the title be handed over to him. Ryback shows up, makes fun of Sheamus' mohawk, tells him that Daniel Bryan is more of a man than he ever will be, then challenges him to a match tonight. Stephanie McMahon puts them in the Elimination Chamber Match for the Intercontinental Championship, but Triple H feels there's a good idea in letting them fight tonight, and lets them have at it right now.

Sheamus beats Ryback after faking having something in his eye to get a cheap Brogue Kick in on Ryback.

Seth Rollins celebrates his title win with Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, J&J Security (Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble) and Kane (who he continues to make fun of) until Dean Ambrose shows up and challenges Rollins to a rematch for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Kane lets Rollins decide, and Rollins rejects the challenge. Ambrose then makes fun of Kane after everyone else but Kane leaves, calling him "Seth Rollins' neutered little lapdog." In retaliation, Kane puts Ambrose in a match against Bray Wyatt. Ambrose says "okay," then drinks Kane's wine.

Renee Young interviews Neville in the ring. Neville, now with a wrap around his left leg, says there's nothing like competing in the WWE. As Renee asks more questions, Bo Dallas shows up and makes fun of Neville's rise to the top until Neville tells him he beat him for the NXT title. Bo Dallas attacks Neville, then runs out of the ring. Barrett then shows up for his match with Neville as Bo Dallas guests on commentary.

Bo Dallas guests on commentary for the next match.

King Barrett beats Neville, and leaves him to be attacked by Bo Dallas, who tries to further injure Neville's leg.

Rusev shows up. He says Lana won't be here, as she needs to learn her place and that she does not speak for him. As he says that he never said he quit, Lana shows up and tells Rusev that she has believed in him from the very beginning, and that she threw in the towel to protect him. Rusev is still furious, and tells Lana that all he needs is himself. He tells Lana to get out of the ring and go back to wherever she came from.

Bray Wyatt beats Dean Ambrose after J&J Security (Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble) distract the ref and shove Ambrose directly into Wyatt's Sister Abigail. Seth Rollins toasts to this after the match.

We see some more Tough Enough videos.

Big E and Kofi Kingston (minus Xavier Woods, who is banned from ringside for this match) complain about having to defend the WWE Tag Team Championships against five tag teams at once at Elimination Chamber.

Tyson Kidd and Cesaro versus The New Day (Big E and Kofi Kingston) for the WWE Tag Team Championships ends when Big E and Kofi refuses to let Kidd out of the corner. Xavier Woods shows up to give The New Day the numbers advantage. The Lucha Dragons (Sin Cara and Kalisto) then show up to take out The New Day, then attack Kidd and Cesaro. Los Matadores (Fernando and Diego), The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor), and The Prime Time Players (Darren Young and Titus O'Neil) all rush in afterward and start a brawl, which ends after The Prime Time Players get their hands on Xavier Woods and The Ascension launch a team suicide dive on everyone else outside of the ring. All six teams are in the Tag Team Elimination Chamber Match for the WWE Tag Team Championships.

Roman Reigns returns this Thursday night on SmackDown!

John Cena shows up. After dedicating the United States title to the men and women of the American armed forces, and declaring it "our championship," Cena declares an open challenge for the title. That challenge is answered by Kevin Owens, who congratulates Cena on his victory at Payback. After harsh words are thrown on both sides, Owens pretends to back out of the open challenge and declare he'll face Cena on his own terms only to get a cheap shot on Cena and hit him with the pop-up power bomb he's known for in NXT. He then stomps on the US title, lifts up the NXT title and tells Cena he can't see him.

Rusev, R-Truth and King Barrett are in the Elimination Chamber Match for the vacant WWE Intercontinental Championship along with Sheamus and Ryback.

Dolph gets a quick win against Stardust. After the match, Michael Cole interviews Ziggler, and it is revealed that Ziggler is the sixth man in the Intercontinental title match at Elimination Chamber. Suddenly, Lana shows up and after some hesitation, she kisses Ziggler not one, but twice. After the second kiss, an angry Rusev shows up and fights Ziggler. After knocking Ziggler down, he is about to take his anger out on Lana when Lana slaps him. Rusev is about to charge her when Ziggler hits the Zig Zag.

As he gets the ring ready for "Seth Rollins: Architect of a Dream," Kane sees Adam Rose and Rosa Mendes making out backstage again.

Luke Harper and Erick Rowan beat Zack Ryder and Fandango.

The Bellas (Brie and Nikki Bella) are backstage when Stephanie McMahon stops them to tell Brie that she apologizes for making light of Daniel Bryan's injury and that she's scheduled counseling sessions for Brie in the most patronizing manner possible. She also bans Brie from accompanying Nikki to her match tonight "due to her mental health."

Naomi vs. Nikki Bella for the WWE Divas Championship ends when Tamina breaks the Rack Attack with a super kick. Naomi and Tamina attack Brie Bella until Paige shows up out of the blue and clears out the ring. When Nikki gets back up, Paige hits her with a Ram-Paige.

After being congratulated by Triple H, Kevin Owens is interviewed by Renee Young. Owens declares that he is facing John Cena for the WWE United States Championship at Elimination Chamber.

Triple H, Kane and Stephanie McMahon introduce Seth Rollins to the ring for "Seth Rollins: Architect of a Dream." As everyone in the ring celebrates Rollins' victory at Payback, Kane thanks Rollins and shows off a Seth Rollins video package on the TitanTron. Jamie Noble thanks Rollins for the privilege of working with him, and Joey Mercury almost does the same when Dean Ambrose shows up and crashes the party. Ambrose still wants that title rematch at Elimination Chamber, but Rollins won't give it to him. Stephanie tries to defuse the situation by sicking Rollins on him, and when Ambrose goes at it with Rollins, Noble and Mercury go for Ambrose as well. Ambrose fights them all off - and Kane, too - and threatens to smash Rollins' head through a set of cinderblocks with a steel chair. Triple H and Stephanie relent, and promise to give him the match if he lets Rollins go. Ambrose almost reneges, but Mercury and Noble get the chair away from him. Ambrose fights them all off again and goes after Rollins, but Rollins is able to fight off Ambrose and take him down with a Pedigree to end the show.

Here's the top 10 moments from tonight's show!

The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) make fun of Adam Jones and his baseball team, the Baltimore Orioles, as they ask everyone to embrace the power of positivity.

The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Big E) retain the WWE Tag Team Championships in a 2-out-of-3 Falls Match against Tyson Kidd and Cesaro, when Xavier Woods gets an inside cradle on Tyson Kidd. With the ref thinking it's Kofi, The New Day get the third fall and win 2-1.

Bray Wyatt beats Ryback after ramming Ryback and his injured ribs into an exposed turnbuckle.

John Cena retains the WWE United States Championship against Rusev in a devastating I Quit Match. Lana has to translate for Rusev to tell the ref that Rusev says that he quits.

The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) say they do not spit, curse or complain as they have a milk toast to their victory tonight. But when Byron Saxton tells them they will defend the WWE Tag Team Championships in the first ever Tag Team Elimination Chamber Match in two weeks' time at Elimination Chamber, they actually spit their milk out, curse and complain.

Naomi and Tamina beat The Bella Twins (Brie and Nikki Bella).

Rusev tells Lana to get out backstage before he throws a steel chair around.

Underground Sound - Lucha Underground recap for May 13, 2015

Dario Cueto is in his cell with a mysterious piece of red cloth, which signifies a great deal of power... just as much power as the Aztec gods. He may even just give it to that one warrior that he seems fit.

Dario Cueto has Son of Havoc, Ivelisse and Angelico in his office. He admits to having a little admiration for the dysfunctional trio. since The Crew (Mr. Cisco, Bael and Cortez Castro) beat Son of Havo and Angelico last week, they are now the number one contenders for their Trios Tag Team Titles. Angelico addresses Ivelisse's broken leg, but Ivelisse says that she doesn't need her legs to fight. With this, Ivelisse and company accepts the title defense, and Ivelisse is (reluctantly) helped out of the office.

Meanwhile, in the locker room, Fenix is deep in thought when Catrina appears from the darkness. She tells Fenix that he made a mistake burying Mil Muertes, and that the latter needed Fenix's 1,000 lives in order to live. Now, that Mil Muertes has been resurrected, she says that he is out to get him. As Fenix reaches for her, she disappears back into the darkness and suddenly, masked banshees lurk on the top of the lockers...

Hernandez vs. Alberto El Patron comes to an abrupt halt when Johnny Mundo shows up and attacks Alberto El Patron, and smashes his head into the window of  Dario Cueto's office! Gettin' RAW - Monday Night RAW recap for May 11, 2015

Triple H is back...

Triple H enters the ring to start the show. He wastes little time in calling Seth Rollins and Kane out to the ring. Rollins shows up, and says he wants to function at the top of his game but can't because of Kane's recent actions. As he keeps talking trash about Kane, Kane eventually shows up, and both he and Rollins argue. Triple H shuts them both up, and thinks that Kane may not be neccessary as Director of Operations anymore. Kane's silence tells HHH he doesn't want that, so HHH decides to make him more invested in the Fatal Four-Way by putting all four of its competitors in matches tonight. Kane is pitted against Roman Reigns, while Rollins is pitted against Randy Orton. Jamie Noble mouths off at Triple H for this, and Triple H responds by making fun of his height as he pits Noble and Joey Mercury against Dean Ambrose in a handicap match...and that match is next.

Dean Ambrose beats J&J Security (Jamie Noble and Joey Mercury) in a handicap match.

Sheamus guests on commentary for the next match.

Dolph Ziggler takes on Sheamus again at Payback.

King Barrett makes light of Neville before his match, saying he'll reacquaint him with gravity at Payback. He then decides to take a page from Sheamus and turn Ziggler from a common show-off into a royal arse kisser only to eat a super kick, starting the match.

King Barrett beats Dolph Ziggler thanks to the distraction from Sheamus. After the match, Sheamus mocks and attacks Ziggler. Ziggler fights back, but falls again to a Brogue Kick.

Erick Rowan - now accompanied by Luke Harper - absolutely destroys Fandango.

John Cena shows up. With six days before Payback, Cena holds one more open challenge for the WWE United States Championship. That challenge is answered by Neville.

Neville vs. John Cena for the WWE United States Championship ends with Rusev attacking both Cena and Neville. Rusev puts Cena in the Accolade, then goes crazy when the crowd chants for Lana.

Kane vs. Roman Reigns de-evolves into a brawl where the bell never rings.

Tamina beats Brie Bella.

Curtis Axel vs. "Macho Mandow" Damien Sandow is interrupted by The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor). When The Ascension rush the ring after ushering in the era of total destruction, Sandow fights back, and Axel hits the leg drop on Konnor. The Ascension retreat, and Axel and Sandow shake hands, beginning an alliance.

We see more Tough Enough application videos.

Daniel Bryan shows up. He admits that there has been some downtime in the last few weeks where he's seen doctor after doctor. After talking about how he was stripped of the World Heavyweight title, he goes into why he showed up. He had an MRI last week, and he may be out for weeks or months. Therefore, he is relinquishing the WWE Intercontinental Championship, saying it belongs in the ring and not in a physical therapist's chair. He thanks the fans before leaving the championship in the ring.

The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) show up and tell the WWE Universe to get rid of the negativity and forget Daniel Bryan. Not surprisingly, it doesn't work.

Cesaro beats Big E despite the distraction from Xavier Woods.

A new, second pay-per-view is announced exclusively for the WWE Network for the night of May 31st: Elimination Chamber.

This Thursday on SmackDown: Roman Reigns vs. Kane. There must be a winner by pinfall or submission.

The Prime Time Players (Darren Young and Titus O'Neil) pay tribute to The New Age Outlaws ("Road Dogg" Jesse James and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn).

Bray Wyatt tells the WWE Universe about fear before mocking Ryback. Ryback shows up and he and Bray brawl, and Bray is on the losing end very quickly.

Randy Orton vs. Seth Rollins ends with the interference of J&J Security (Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble). Kane shows up and grabs a steel chair outside of the ring, but Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns shows up and outnumber Rollins. After all of Rollins' Payback competitors hit their finishers on him, Orton hits an RKO on Reigns and Ambrose hits Dirty Deeds on Orton.

Saturday Night Main Event - Main Event recap for May 9, 2015

Adam Rose beats Zack Ryder.

Jack Swagger beats Bo Dallas with the Patriot Lock after Bo Dallas talks trash about the city of Ottawa.

Curtis Axel(Mania) versus "Macho Mandow" Damien Sandow ends in a no-contest when they are both beaten up by The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor), who then say that both of the guys they beat up are a joke and a throwback to "the worst era of wrestling in history" before saying they are ushering in the Era of Total Destruction.

Stardust beats R-Truth.

Making an iMPACT! - Impact Wrestling recap for May 8, 2015

Eric Young is in the ring demanding who the special guest referee for his World title match against Kurt Angle is, and says he will be World champ one way or another. Out of nowhere, Bully Ray shows up, and says it's him.

The shows starts with Ethan Carter III entering to the ring with Tyrus, saying he's doing this for the fans and that he plans to beat Anderson as a gentlemen's champion of arm wrestling.. Mr. Anderson shows up, tells EC3 to shut up, then reveals that his Falls Count Anywhere stipulation beat Ethan's Arm Wrestling stip 85% to 15%.

Ethan Carter III beats Mr. Anderson in a Falls Count Anywhere match.

Kurt Angle asks Bully Ray if he's going to call the match down the middle. Bully Ray replies "Do you know who I am?"

Gail Kim talks to Awesome Kong in the back. She wants to know if they're on the same page tonight. Kong walks away.

The Beat Down Clan (MVP, Kenny King, Low Ki) show up in masks. MVP says Homicide can't be here tonight because he's been injured and needs shoulder surgery, and blames it on The Rising (Drew Galloway, Eli Drake, Micah). He then tries to make the BDC look like the good guys to no avail as they call out The Rising. They show up, say that anybody could have jumped Homicide, then shifts the blame onto Kenny King. MVP isn't down with this, and says that he doesn't care about the fans; only the money and the power. MVP challenges Galloway to a match, and he's all too eager to oblige.

Drew Galloway beats MVP. After the match, Galloway is attacked with a steel chair by Eric Young, and Kenny King and Low Ki attack Micah and Eli Drake.

James Storm has a gift for Mickie James...

James Storm shows up in the ring with a gift-wrapped box. He then introduces Mickie James to the ring. After calling Mickie an amazing wrestler, mother and friend, Mickie gets a chance to open the present, and inside is a guitar. Storm and Mickie take a selfie, then Magnus shows up. Storm has a gift for him: a helmet signifying the Brutus Magnus gimmick. Magnus and Mickie leave, but Storm has a gift for their son: a doll for when he goes to sleep at night. This gets Magnus' goat, and he gets back in the ring and smacks the guitar right into Storm's head. Mickie and Magnus leave, and as Storm gets back up, he is smiling, revealing that this is part of Storm's dark plans.

Gail Kim confronts Taryn Terrell in public, and almost makes a scene.

Eric Young asks MVP, Kenny King and Low Ki for their help to take the World title from Kurt Angle.

The Dollhouse (Taryn Terrell, Marti Bell, Jade) beat Gail Kim and Awesome Kong. After the match, Gail and Kong lay out Marti Bell.

Matt Hardy sits backstage with the TNA World Tag Team Championships.

Mickie James is at odds with Magnus over what he did to James Storm earlier.

Jeremy Borash interviews Matt Hardy in the ring. Jeff Hardy may be injured from a motorbike accident, but he and Jeff are the best tag team in the world. He then vacates the TNA World Tag Team Championships, then says it's time to go home and figure out what's next. As he leaves, The Dirty Heels (Bobby Roode and Austin Aries) show up. Aries hasn't forgotten Eric Young, and will get his revenge after tonight. He then focuses on the tag team titles, saying that he and Roode have won it before and they're two of the best on the planet. Roode agrees, Davey Richards shows up, saying they should be on the waists of the best in the world, and the best are the Wolves. He then reveals that his tag team partner, Eddie Edwards, is back. Edwards shows up and says he's medically cleared. After proclaiming The Wolves (Richards, Edwards) are the best, he then challenges The Dirty Heels to a Best of Five series for the titles. The Dirty Heels accept.

Angelina Love is in the ring, and all she cares about is herself. As she talks, Velvet Sky suddenly returns with colored streaks in her hair and a more rugged look. Angelina tries to suck up to Velvet, but it doesn't work. Angelina then snaps and says to a stone-faced Velvet that she made her, and without her, she's nothing. Velvet snaps and attacks Angelina.

Bully Ray tells Eric Young he's playing the World title match really loose, and that he's going to let him and Kurt Angle tear each other apart.

Despite interference from The Beat Down Clan (MVP, Kenny King, Low Ki) and Chris Melendez and The Rising (Drew Galloway, Micah, Eli Drake), Kurt Angle retains the TNA World Heavyweight Championship against Eric Young.

SmackDown Hotel! - WWE SmackDown recap for May 7, 2015

Jerry Lawler is in the ring, and he introduces King Barrett to start the show. Barrett tells Lawler that he's the only king in the WWE right now, and that Lawler only calls himself a king while Barrett himself has earned the title. When Barrett orders Lawler to grovel in front of him, Lawler refuses, and Barrett is about to end the interview with a Bull Hammer when Dolph Ziggler shows up and calls him out on his crap.

Dolph Ziggler beats King Barrett via disqualification when Sheamus charges the ring and attacks Ziggler. The latter takes a 2-on-1 beating from Sheamus and Barrett until Neville comes out and evens the odds.

Dolph Ziggler and Neville beats Sheamus and King Barrett in an impromptu tag team match.

Renee Young interviews Dean Ambrose. Ambrose doesn't care about the odds at Payback.

Luke Harper destroys Fandango. After the match, Erick Rowan shows up and attacks Fandango, turning heel. Harper keeps staring at Rowan and his sheep mask with intrigue.

Lana shows up. She asks the WWE Universe not to cheer for her, as it angers Rusev. Almost as if on cue, Rusev shows up and yells at her before commanding her to go to the back, then calls Cena's victories against him nothing more than flukes and miracles. He says Cena showed mercy to Sami Zayn on Raw, and that mercy is a sign of weakness. Rusev promises to make Cena say "I Quit" at Payback.

Renee Young interviews Roman Reigns. Roman is willing to put brotherhood aside to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

For their six man tag team match against The New Day (Xavier Woods, Big E., Kofi Kingston), Tyson Kidd and Cesaro reveal their mystery partner to be none other than Ryback.

The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E., Xavier Woods) beats Ryback, Tyson Kidd and Cesaro when Kofi pins Tyson Kidd with the tights, not before a Bray Wyatt vignette is shown, which distracts Ryback.

Renee Young interviews Randy Orton. He says The Viper is coming to Payback, not him, and that he's primed and ready to RKO anybody that night.

Naomi beats Emma, and both she and Tamina attack Emma afterwards.

We see more videos of those who think they're Tough Enough.

Renee Young interviews Seth Rollins, who talks crap about Kane and says that Kane will never have his smarts.

The Lucha Dragons (Kalisto and Sin Cara) beats Los Matadores (Fernando and Diego). As El Torito tries to console Diego in the ring, he roughly pushes El Torito aside.

Kane hosts the contract signing for the Fatal Four-Way for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Payback, and introduces the four participants: Randy Orton, Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and the champion Seth Rollins. Rollins refuses to get in the ring, and Ambrose calls him out on him. As Roman Reigns signs the contract, Randy Orton says that everyone else at the table is there for the same reason. Everyone else signs, then Rollins asks Kane to sign for him. Kane says he has agreed to sign as his proxy in case he's hurt and can't come to the ring, but refuses to do so since Seth Rollins is standing at the ramp. Rollins then approaches the ring, has Joey Mercury hand him the contract so he can review it, talks trash to all the challengers in an attempt to turn them against one another, then gets in the ring, hands the contract to Kane and argues with him. As they argue, they notice Dean Ambrose is moving all the furniture. Ambrose calls dibs on the table, starting a wild brawl where Superman Punches, RKO's and fists fly, but in the end, Seth Rollins stands tall to end the show.

Lucha Underground Review 5/6/15

Long time, no see, eh? Sup everyone and welcome to the May 6, 2015 edition of my Lucha Underground review! Now, for the second week in the row, Dario Cueto has been a very busy man. Being on every set! Especially when it comes to sticking his nose into the business of Konnan and his protege, the Lucha Underground Champion Prince Puma. As I like to say in my other review, suspense is on the rise, and if anything, true colors are surfacing as well. The main topics I am covering for this review are: an alliance on the rocks, Cueto's on a roll, and the beauty and the resurrection of the beast. Lets get started!

An Alliance on the rocks!

I guess Vampiro is right when he says that the egos of Hernandez and Prince Puma are too huge for them to coexist as a team. It became pretty evident, when last week, Hernandez persuaded Dario Cueto to change his Triple Threat Match with Cage and King Cuerno to a number one contender's match. When Dario questioned him about Prince Puma, he flat out states that he does not care about Puma being the title holder. What he didn't know is that Prince Puma was in the same room, listening the whole time. Uh-oh! You're talking nothing but trouble, trouble, and more trouble! Later that night, Hernandez won the triple threat, became number one contender, and what makes things even more icky was when he interfered in Puma's title defense against Drago, on the "latter's behalf".

Fast Forward to this week, Konnan attempts to talk some since into his long compadre Hernandez for what transpired last week. Of course, Hernandez was going to make that excuse that he tried to help Prince Puma. But, everyone (fans, Puma and Hernandez) knows that Hernandez sleazed his way into getting a number one contender's match, which ultimately means that he was using his longtime alliance with Konnan in order to get to Prince Puma's title. If ya ask me, this storyline is getting more interesting as the weeks pass. However, we have to see how things pan out in another number one contender's match between Hernandez and Alberto El Patron (who beat Johnny Mundo in tonight's main event to earn the right to face Hernandez). Will Alberto be a stopping block for Hernandez, or will Hernandez prove that he is worthy of the title match, and be able to take the risk on ending the longtime alliance with Konnan to become champion?

Cueto's on a roll!

Man, for these past two weeks, Dario Cueto has been handling his job as the proprietor of Lucha Underground very well! From setting up top notch main event matches to even stirring the pot among the luchadors y luchadoras in the locker room, he's been on his A game. What is leaning heavily on me right now is... his brother. Last week, he introduced his brother to his goon squad, The Crew (Bael, Mr. Cisco and Cortez Castro). The look of shock on their faces says it all, but the fans did not get the pleasure of seeing his face. Maybe this is to be revealed in the later weeks... Also, it seems that he is continuing to get inside the heads of Konnan and Prince Puma. Cueto has made it pretty obvious that he does not want Puma as the champion every since he won the title at Aztec Warfare back in January, and he is willing to go the extra mile for anyone in the locker room to get the title off of him. He even set the standards for the challengers very high (Drago, anyone?).

This week, pitting Johnny Mundo and Alberto El Patron against each other in order to face Hernandez to determine the true number one contender, just gets the point across even more. Cueto wants Puma to lose the title, by any means necessary. But, Hernandez is (despite the issues) a longtime protege of Konnan. Cueto did not have to book the match between Mundo and El Patron if he felt that Hernandez was the one to get the job done. Maybe, Cueto does not see Hernandez as formidable champion, but as someone who can exact psychological warfare on Puma to make him think that he has his back. As I said earlier in this post, we are just to have to see how things pan out between Hernandez and Alberto El Patron next week.

The Beauty... and the Resurrection of the Beast.

After a fantastic main event match between Johnny Mundo and Alberto El Patron, we see a rather sadistic vignette of Catrina, who delivers a cryptic message about "1,000 deaths". There, she is standing by the casket of Mil Muertes, whom we have not seen since the "Grave Consequences" Casket Match against Catrina, lover (so it seems) "The Man of 1,000 Lives" Fenix. Catrina, who seems to be back on the side of Mil Muertes, resurrects him as Mil Muertes himself. He's baaaaaaaaaaaaaaack! Let me just say, this has be one of my favorite Lucha Underground segments so far. I loved the whole concept, the scenery, and Catrina's storied description of death... and ultimately the resurrection of Mil Muertes. Oh, you better believe that he is going to be on Fenix's ass when he makes his in-ring return.

That's it for this week's review! Please feel free to share your thoughts and tune in next week for yet another review. LUCHA! LUCHA! LUCHA!

Underground Sound - Lucha Underground recap for May 6, 2015

Johnny Mundo and Alberto El Patron are in Dario Cueto's office. They both feel that they deserve a shot at Prince Puma's Lucha Underground Championship. El Patron goes as far as to say that he deserves a shot more than the actual number one contender, Hernandez, who sleazed his way into changing the standard triple threat match into a #1 contender's match last week. With this, Dario Cueto holds up slips of paper with both their names on them, setting up the main event match for tonight, in which the winner will face Hernandez next week to determine the true number one contender for the Lucha Underground Championship.

Ivelisse, who is on crutches due to a leg injury, sits in the audience and torts out orders to her partners.

The Crew (Cortez Castro & Mr. Cisco) beats Son of Havoc & Angelico.

Dario Cueto now has DelAvar Daivari, the man who took out Texano a couple of weeks ago. Cueto acknowledges him for his bravery, and sets up a match between the latter and Texano tonight. Meanwhile, in the locker room, Konnan blasts Hernandez for what he did in Prince Puma's title match against Drago last week. Hernandez felt that he saved his title match, but Puma isn't trying to hear any of it. Dario Cueto overhears the fuss, pleased with what he hears, and sets up Hernandez and Puma to tag against Cage and King Cuerno later tonight.

DelAvar Daivari beats Texano by disqualification with Texano pushes the referee to get to Daivari. The two brawl in the ring afterwards.

Cage and King Cuerno beats Prince Puma and Hernandez after Hernandez powerbombs Prince Puma on the turnbuckle and takes a walk out of the match, leaving Puma to fend for himself.

Black Lotus is still determined to leave and fend for herself, but El Dragon Azteca refuses to see her suffer the same fate as her parents. He then give her the ultimatum - if she beats him, she can leave. After a short series of blocks from both sides, Dragon Azteca gains the upper hand, and says that she has a better chance of survival than her parents if she stays with him. Reluctantly enough, she blows out her candle and stays.

Alberto El Patron beats Johnny Mundo in a fast-paced, chaotic match to earn the right to face Hernandez to determine the true number one contender to Prince Puma's Lucha Underground Championship!

Catrina sends a cryptic message about the afterlife. She is standing in front of a casket, which revealed to has the deceased Mil Muertes inside. She orders Ricky Banderas to come back alive as Mil Muertes, and just like the famous Frankenstein scene, he comes back to life.

Generation NXT - NXT recap for May 6, 2015

Charlotte beats Emma. After the match, Bayley shows up and hugs Emma...before putting her in the Belly-To-Bayley. She then takes the "I'm A Hugger" shirt and her headbands back.

We see Becky Lynch's road to where she is now in NXT.

Michael Cole has a heated interview Kevin Owens. Owens states and insists that everything he's done with Sami Zayn as well as NXT in general has been personal, and it was all to survive and put food on his family's table.

Rhyno destroys Bull Dempsey. After the match, Rhyno says he's an unstoppable force and says he wants to take out another unstoppable force at TakeOver: Baron Corbin.

Sasha Banks tells Becky Lynch that she made her and that she can break her, and that she plans to do the latter at TakeOver.

Coming soon to WWE: Uhaa Nation!

Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder are supposed to face Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady, but Enzo and Big Cass don't show up. It is soon revealed that they're being attacked backstage by Blake and Murphy, with Carmella getting them to stop to no avail.

Michael Cole interviewed Sami Zayn. Zayn knows it's personal between him and Kevin Owens, and says he's coming to the ring next week looking for the truth from Owens.

William Regal hosts the contract signing between Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks. Lynch tells her life story, then says the mistakes and sacrifices she has made were worth it. She signs the contract. Sasha Banks rubber stamps her signature on the contract, then throws it at Lynch's face and attacks her before standing on the table with Lynch's head underneath her foot. Banks flips the table over, then tries to attack her again only for Lynch to nearly break her arm with a submission hold.

Alex Riley announces he's getting a second knee operation. A disenchanted Riley feels that the NXT Universe and William Regal are against him, as he feels people want to see him get destroyed in the ring.

Dana Brooke says she hates the WWE Tapout commercial because Charlotte is in it, she'll run circles around her and run her out of NXT when she sees it.

Finn Balor sits at ringside for the next match.

Hideo Itami beats Tyler Breeze, but not before tossing Breeze into Finn Balor and accidentally kicking him in the head. After the match, an angry Balor shows up and focuses on Hideo after tossing Breeze away, but Breeze answers with a Supermodel Kick to Balor and a Beauty Shot on Hideo to end the show.

Gettin' RAW - Monday Night RAW recap for May 4, 2015

Randy Orton shows up. He promises to walk out of Payback as WWE World Heavyweight Champion and that there is nothing Seth Rollins can do about it. In comes Roman Reigns out of the crowd, and says if anyone is getting payback, it's him. As both men swap accomplishments as they brag about breaking the other man in half, The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) show up and try to tell them to be positive, joke around and get the crowd to like them.
