WWE Monday Night RAW Results for September 23th, 2013

Before the show, we pay tribute to former WWWF performer Angelo Savoldi who passed away last Friday at age 99.

The ten Superstars that were part of last week's "active protest" and the prematurely ended 11-on-3 handicap match from last week's SmackDown (Justin Gabriel, R-Truth, Zack Ryder, Kofi Kingston, Dolph Ziggler, Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, Darren Young, Rob Van Dam, Titus O'Neil) are on the ramp. Triple H and Stephanie McMahon show up and thank them for grabbing the brass ring last week. Rob Van Dam gets on the mic on the ramp and tells them they were all fighting for Daniel Bryan. Since all ten men have history against The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns), they all will take part in an 11-on-3 elimination handicap match against The Shield...and Daniel Bryan will be the 11th man. Also, there will be a WWE App vote where the WWE Universe gets to choose who faces Randy Orton tonight. Will it be R-Truth, Dolph Ziggler or Rob Van Dam?

WHC Alberto Del Rio def Kofi Kingston via Submission
Del Rio submits Kingston w/ the cross arm-breaker for the win.

Renee Young interviews The Miz. Triple H won't let Miz take on Randy Orton tonight...but he does let him host Miz TV. His guest? Big Show.

The Wyatt Family (Luke Harper and Erick Rowan) beat The Prime Time Players (Darren Young and Titus O'Neil). Bray Wyatt hits the Sister Abigal on Darren Young.

It's Miz TV time! The Miz tells Randy Orton it's not over, and hell be back with a vengeance. Big Show is introduced. Miz tries to reason with Big Show, telling him he needs to step up against Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. Stephanie shows up, and berates Miz before telling Big Show to knock Miz out. Big Show does that at the drop of a pin.

Randy Orton will have to face Rob Van Dam.

Randy Orton vs Rob Van Dam ends in a double count-out. Orton decimates RVD afterwards.

Los Matadores are debuting on RAW next week!

Alberto Del Rio hits a cheap shot and a Cross Arm Breaker on a helpless Rob Van Dam during the break.

The Bella Twins (Brie and Nikki Bella) aren't impressed with Randy Orton when he decided to make an example out Brie's boyfriend Daniel Bryan. They know that D-Bry is a real winner and a better champion than him.

Stephanie McMahon speaks with AJ Lee...and shills a copy of the new Triple H: Thy Kingdom ComeDVD to her to show her "what a real wedding looks like." As for AJ's match tonight, AJ will have to compete in it whether she wants to or not...and gets in AJ's personal space to make a point.

Fandango beats Santino Marella, thanks to the distraction from Summer Rae.

CM Punk shows up. He's bummed that he lost to Paul Heyman last week at Night of Champions, but like the 2013 Chicago Blackhawk, he refuses to give up and feel sorry for himself, and he's trudging on! Paul Heyman appears on a Hoveround and interrupts him. Punk can't wait to beat him down as Heyman verbally bashes Chicago and rubs his victory at Night of Champions in Punk's face. When Heyman tries to leave, his Hoveround dies on him. Punk goes after Heyman, but Curtis Axel and Ryback attack him. In the end, Punk is overpowered, and it's revealed that Heyman isn't hurt at all as he is able to walk just fine.

CM Punk refuses medical attention from the officials.

The Bella Twins (Brie and Nikki Bella), The Funkadactyls (Cameron and Naomi) and Natalya beat AJ Lee, Alicia Fox, Tamina Snuka, Aksana and Layla.

The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns) are ready to take on eleven men tonight.

Daniel Bryan shows up. He insists that he had nothing to do with Scott Armstrong's fast count. When The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns) show up after D-Bry says he'll be WWE champ at Battleground, two fans jump the barricade and attack them! The fans are revealed to be none other than Cody Rhodes and Goldust!

Dolph Ziggler will take on Dean Ambrose for the United States Championship on SmackDown!

Daniel Bryan, Justin Gabriel, The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso), The Prime Time Players (Darren Young and Titus O'Neil), Zack Ryder, Kofi Kingston, Dolph Ziggler, Rob Van Dam and R-Truth beat The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns) in an 11-on-3 elimination handicap match.

WWE Friday Night Smackdown Results for September 20th, 2013

Guest contributor, PrinceWatercress (princewatercresswrestling.blogspot.com)

Vickie Guerrero is in the ring. She then introduces "the laughingstock of the WWE," Daniel Bryan. D-Bry would rather be champion for a day than a corporate stooge for a lifetime, and insists that he was never part of Scott Armstrong's plan. Vickie doesn't buy it, and then rattles off the names of the 11 men who saved him from a beating from The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns) onRaw earlier this week. She then puts them all in an 11-on-3 gauntlet match against The Shield where The Shield is in the ring at all times...and she's saving Daniel Bryan for last if they all fail.

Natalya guests on commentary for the next match.

Divas Champion A.J. Lee def Naomi

Santino Marella def Jack Swagger

Ryback def Nick Nardone (local competitor)

Randy Orton shows up. He suppressed his anger for two years, until Triple H and Stephanie McMahon wanted him to be the Randy Orton of old again. The Miz was but the first example of what happens when anyone gets in his way. He plans to beat Daniel Bryan and become "my WWE Champion" at Battleground.

Triple H stops the 11-on-3 Hanidcap with 11 Superstars facing off against The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, and Roman Reigns). He then sets up an six man tag team match for the main event to be Daniel Bryan & The Usos vs The Shield.

Triple H tells Vickie Guerrero that her match is not a good way to quell the rebellion from Monday night, as it would lead to more doing it down the line. Also, he says that the Superstars need to feel safe. He then tells Vickie Guerrero to make the following match official: The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns) vs Daniel Bryan and The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso).

Triple H apologizes to Zack Ryder and Justin Gabriel for being in Vickie Guerrero's match, and tells them to hit the ring for a match.

The Wyatt Family (Erick Rowan and Luke Harper) beat Zack Ryder and Justin Gabriel. Bray Wyatt hits Sister Abigail on Ryder.

Triple H apologizes to Rob Van Dam, then gives him a rematch against Alberto Del Rio for the World title at Battleground. Not surprisingly, Del Rio comes out of hiding in the trainer's room and attacks RVD.

Magnus shows up in the ring. He's disappointed he didn't win the Bound For Glory Series. He then calls out the three men who interfered in the finals: Bobby Roode and Bad Influence (Christopher Daniels and Kazarian), and asks one of them to take him on right now. Sting and Samoa Joe rush in to save Magnus, then Sting make a six-man tag match challenge for tonight before chasing the guys out!

Park stands up for both ODB and Young, which leads to Eric Young taking on Robbie E after the latter throws down the gauntlet. Young beats Robbie E in mere seconds, then Robbie says he wanted Park the whole time. After viciously making fun of Park, Park accepts the challenge! Park also wins in mere seconds after the commercial break, but Robbie and Jesse attack Eric Young. They go for Park only to bloody him...causing Park to go nuts and clean house!

Dixie Carter won't open up to Hulk Hogan concerning AJ Styles.

Bully Ray and Aces and Eights show up. He thanks Brooke for helping him win the TNA World title, and gives no credit whatsoever to Wes Brisco, Garrett Bischoff and Knux. As a result, Brisco, Bischoff and Knux confront him for making it all about him and Brooke Tessmacher. Bully threatens to hurt them if they disrespect him or Brooke, but at this point, Bully Ray is a man alone.

Sting, Samoe Joe and Magnus are ready for battle!

My Predictions for Night of Champions

Pre Show: Primetime Players vs Tons of Funk vs The Usos vs Any pairing of 3MB vs The Real Americans (w/ Zeb Colter)

I'm torn between two teams right now. These two teams being The Primetime Players and The Real Americans. The breakdown: PTP has wrestled The Real Americans over the past couple of weeks in tag team and singles matches, with the PTPs coming out on top. So, I'm going to go with Titus & Darren due to the roll they've been on lately.

Fatal Four Way/Divas Championship: A.J. Lee vs Naomi vs Natalya vs Brie Bella

Okay, so there have been many speculations of A.J. Lee dropping the title to one of these cast members of "Total Divas" due to some heat. In my opinion, I don't think that she should drop it for show reasons, but for the fact of any other championship reason: IN-RING storylines. Whatever happens on "Total Divas" should stay on "Total Divas"! I'm all for A.J. on this one, but as I said of the speculations....

United States Championship: Dean Ambrose vs Dolph Ziggler

The Shield has another busy night (much like Extreme Rules & Payback) when they put their titles on the line. Let me just say, The Shield is practically under the regime of COO Triple H as his henchmen. So with that being said, I don't think Ambrose's title reign's gonna come to and end on Sunday. Sorry Ziggler, but I just gotta Believe in The Shield on this one.

WWE Tag Team Championship: The Shield (Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns) vs Tag Team Turmoil winners

Much like I said for Ambrose, Reigns and Rollins are much like henchmen for Triple H. No matter who wins the Tag Team Turmoil match, I know that Reigns and Rollins are going to use their craftiness to pick up the win and retain the straps. BELIEVE IN THE SHIELD!!!

World Heavyweight Championship: Alberto Del Rio vs RVD (Ricardo Rodriguez banned from ringside?)

Coming off a win against his former long time friend Ricardo Rodriguez, Del Rio looks to finish off RVD once and for all with the title on the line. Remember when Del Rio lost two non-title matches to RVD? Well, that's a big reason why I'm going for him in this one. Also, Del Rio's title reign was not entertaining AT ALL. So, I'm going with RVD.

2-on-1 Handicap Match: CM Punk vs Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel & Paul Heyman

I'm pretty shocked about how much hype this match has gotten. Don't get me wrong, Punk, Axel, and Heyman are formidable Superstars, but I didn't expect the hype (or the build-up) to be this high! I really love how Paul Heyman is selling off the scared attitude towards Punk getting his hands on him and how Axel's being the "comforter" of the whole thing. But, I know that Punk's gonna get revenge some way so why not in this match? I'm all for Punk in this one.

WWE Championship: Randy Orton vs Daniel Bryan

Come on, now! This whole thing with Orton and Bryan is obviously not going to be short lived. So there. I'm going with Orton. I expect this rivalry to continue through Battleground and Hell in a Cell. Maybe even longer...

WWE Monday Night RAW Results for September 2nd, 2013

Been kinda busy this week, so some of the summary credit goes to my Blue Enchida friend, +PrinceWatercress

Triple H shows up and brings out Randy Orton. Orton shows up, and decrees that anyone who disrespects him or the company will be dealt with, before he me makes light of Daniel Bryan and says that Bryan should give up his shot at the WWE Championship. Triple H then talks about how Bryan's "ego" isn't good for business, comparing him to Doink the Clown and saying he should go for a lower-card title like the European or Cruiserweight titles (which strangely don't exist). D-Bry shows up in the middle of Triple H talking, and refuses to give up. After calling Orton "less masculine than Stephanie McMahon," he goes on to say that Orton may have the genetics of a champion, but he has the heart. Triple H tells D-Bry that his anger is "misguided" and should be focused on Big Show instead...and put D-Bry in a match with Show tonight.

Cody Rhodes meets Randy Orton and Triple H. After saying Randy Orton should defend the WWE title against Daniel Bryan and saying that Orton isn't scared of D-Bry, Triple H puts Rhodes in a match against Orton...and if Rhodes loses, he's fired!

Stephanie McMahon shows up and brings out Big Show. She makes it public as she's talking to him that Show is financially strapped and should change his mind about fighting Daniel Bryan, all the while trying to kill him with so-called kindness when she's really trying to crush his dignity and bend him to the Corporation's whims.

Edge is on Raw next week!

A frustrated Big Show trashes a backstage area.

The Primetime Players def 3MB (Heath Slater & Jinder Mahal)

Paul Heyman confronts Brad Maddox for the WWE App vote two weeks ago, as well as the Night of Champions match that he's in. Triple H shows up, and says he approved the match because Heyman won't be able to weasel his way out of it.

Big Show tries to leave the ring, but Triple H shows up with The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns). Triple H tells him to get back in, but Show refuses and Daniel Bryan eats a three-man power bomb in which Triple H keeps Big Show from interfering in. Big Show gets back in the ring, then reluctantly knocks out Daniel Bryan. Randy Orton shows up as Show, Stephanie and Triple H leave and raises the WWE title over a downed D-Bry.
