Gettin' RAW - Monday Night RAW recap for September 14, 2015

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon arrive to start the show. The Connor's Cure Foundation logo is on the top of the entrance ramp. Also, the top and bottom ropes of the ring are white, and the middle ropes are yellow. They announce that the next generation of WWE stars in NXT will take the world by storm, and they will be led by one man, who is the man: Seth Rollins, whom Triple H promises will successfully defend both the WWE United States Championship and the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, beat both John Cena and Sting and cement his legacy forever. Stephanie McMahon then announces the Divas title match tonight between Charlotte and Divas Champion Nikki Bella. Triple H then announces for the first time in history, Sting will compete right here on Raw when he goes one-on-one with Big Show. Triple H asks the audience if they're ready, and Stephanie McMahon announces that tonight's first match is a match for the WWE Tag Team Championships...and it's next. When The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) show up, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon dance with them during their entrance.

The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Big E) retain the WWE Tag Team Championships against The Prime Time Players (Darren Young and Titus O'Neil) and go on to defend them against The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley) at Night of Champions, thanks to the distraction from Xavier Woods. The Dudleys show up at the top of the entrance ramp, and talk trash from there while The New Day argue with them from the ring.

We look back at Sting's career throughout tonight's episode, starring with his tag team match with Dusty Rhodes against The Road Warriors (Animal and Hawk) at Starrcade 1988.

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon talk about their dance with The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) when Seth Rollins. He can't wait for Big Show to knock Sting out, but Rollins is worried about John Cena and Sheamus. Triple H says that Rollins just solved his own problems, as Triple H has just made Cena vs. Sheamus official for later tonight. Stephanie just tells Rollins to worry about Night of Champions.

Renee Young interviews Charlotte and her father, Ric Flair. Charlotte can't wait to fulfill a childhood dream, especially with her father at her side. Ric Flair says that the Divas Revolution has been remarkable, and that both Charlotte and Nikki Bella will be rocking the house, and he'll be watching all night long. Charlotte then says that watching the Bella Empire crumble to Natural Selection will be a dream come true. Both Flair and Charlotte leave with a couple of "Woooo!"s.

Sasha Banks beats Paige with the Banks Statement after Tamina pulls Sasha out of the way of a move off the apron from Paige. Tamina and Naomi attack Paige and Becky Lynch after the match.

It's time for Miz TV. The Miz has gathered some interesting guest's for tonight's installment: The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, Braun Strowman). Wyatt tells Miz not to sit down, as he is not safe here. Miz insists he is not Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns' partner at Night of Champions. Wyatt makes it clear that he wants Ambrose and Reigns to suffer, and for people to pay for their sins. As for what he wants most, he wants the WWE Universe to know that regardless of how many people show up Sunday night, he wants those people to know that they all fall down. Ambrose and Reigns show up, then Ambrose beats up The Miz before he and Reigns stare down with The Wyatt Family. Reigns tells Wyatt he makes him sick, especially after they took out Randy Orton and Jimmy Uso, and that Wyatt will pay for the latter. Reigns says that Wyatt has to surround himself with monsters because he can't beat him by himself, then tells Wyatt they've found a third person for their team. He then says that this feud is going to become a war that they'll win. Ambrose and Reigns stare down with The Wyatt Family again to end Miz TV.

We look back at The Great American Bash 1990, when Sting beat Ric Flair for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship.

John Cena beats Sheamus.

Ryback is in the ring. He is proud to stand inside as Intercontinental Champion in Memphis, Tennessee, especially since Kevin Owens has him all shook up. He knows Kevin has no respect for him, the ring and what it means to be a champion. Owens shows up soon after Ryback says that, and Owens talks about how Ryback mentioned how the book "The Secret" helped him overcome tough times as well as recent injury. Owens has read the book - which he has brought with him - and says he feels sorry for him and anybody who's read "this piece of garbage." Ryback says the only piece of garbage he sees is Owens, who says the book is an excuse and a crutch for weak people. He can't blame Ryback for reading it, but he can blame him for being both the strongest and the weakest guy in the locker room, and says it's a travesty that he's the Intercontinental Champion. Ryback tells Kevin Owens what he's all about, and respects Owens' long road to where he is now. He admits he had an elevator ride to the top and fell flat on his face, but he has since picked himself back up and got back up to where he is now. Owens tells him that the first chance he gets, he's going to take the Intercontinental Championship. Ryback tells him that he'll get his chance at Night of Champions, as he's asked Triple H and Stephanie McMahon for this match. Owens walks away soon after.

We look back at Starrcade 1997, when Sting beat "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan to win the WCW World Heavyweight Championship and win a major victory for WCW against the nWo.

Neville comes out for the next match with The Lucha Dragons (Sin Cara and Kalisto). This starts a brawl between them and Stardust and The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor), and Neville and The Lucha Dragons easily come out on top.

Nikki Bella is unimpressed with our year...and says she's been Divas Champion this whole time and that she's the one who gave us the Divas Revolution. She plans to beat Charlotte and become the longest-reigning Divas Champion tonight.

Charlotte beat Nikki Bella to win the WWE Divas Championship...by beating Brie. Team Bella (Brie and Nikki Bella, Alicia Fox) tries to run interference, but it backfires. Stephanie McMahon shows up and declares that Charlotte is winner, but only by disqualification as Brie Bella put her hands on Charlotte. Therefore, Charlotte is still the winner, but Nikki Bella retains the WWE Divas Championship. Since Charlotte is victorious, she gets a championship rematch at Night of Champions...and this time, the title can change hands by count-out or disqualification.

We look back at Survivor Series 2014, when Sting appeared in the WWE for the very first time, took out Triple H and helped Team Cena take Triple H and Stephanie McMahon out of power.

Cesaro beats Rusev after Rusev is distracted by Dolph Ziggler, who tries to give a gift to Summer Rae. Ziggler gets in the ring and hits a super kick on Rusev immediately after the match is over. As Summer Rae tends to Rusev, she takes the gift and hides it from Rusev's eyes.

Stephanie McMahon, Dolph Ziggler and Team Bella (Brie and Nikki Bella, Alicia Fox) meet the children of St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Kiara Grindrod, one of the children, is in the front row with her dad and is officially cancer-free, two weeks before her eighth birthday.

Seth Rollins and Big Show talk backstage.

Rusev and Summer Rae are backstage. Rusev yells on his way back to his room, but Summer Rae still has Dolph Ziggler's present, which contains some jewelry.

Stardust has officially challenged Neville, and the match is official for the Night of Champions kick-off, as Neville and The Lucha Dragons (Sin Cara and Kalisto) takes on Stardust and The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor).

Big Show meets with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon backstage. Show tells them he's got Sting.

We look back at last Monday, when Sting destroyed Seth Rollins' statue.

Nikki Bella's "Bellabration" is this Thursday on SmackDown.

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon are ringside for the next match.

Sting vs. Big Show ends with the interference of Seth Rollins. Rollins and Big Show double-team Sting, but John Cena shows up to even the odds. This turns the match into a tag match with Sting and John Cena vs. Big Show and Seth Rollins, as per Triple H.

Sting and John Cena beat Seth Rollins and Big Show with a Scorpion Deathlock to Rollins.

Gettin' RAW - Monday Night RAW recap for August 24, 2015

RAW opens with Triple H at WWE headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut earlier today, with WWE United States and WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins. Triple H comgratualtes him for the win over John Cena last night at SummerSlam. He says Rollins is no longer the future - he's the man. Triple H says it's time for Rollins to take his place besides greats like Bruno Sammartin and Andre the Giant. Tonight, Rollins will get his own statue. Rollins says this is the greatest accomplishment of his career. He thanks Triple H from the bottom of his heart.

Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman are pissed as they march to the ring. Heyman says he's the pissed off advocate for The Beast of Barclays.  Heyman says Taker being immortal is a fairy tale and he got tapped out by Lesnar last night. Heyman says this was Taker admitting Lesnar is a better man, a better wrestler and a better fighter. Heyman compares Taker to a kid getting his ass kicked in the schoolyard. Lesnar smirks. Heyman says Lesnar does not blame the referee because he didn't see the tap. He also doesn't blame the timekeeper. We see Berkley Ottman, son of Fred Ottman, sitting in the timekeeper area. Fans boo him and Heyman says only in Brooklyn do people boo compassion. Heyman brings up how Taker collapsed on the stage before making it backstage and says it's all over the internet. Heyman says he has enough material to last all three hours of RAW and fans cheer. Heyman goes on about the match and says Lesnar wants one more match with The Undertaker. However, he doesn't want it at WrestleMania or Royal Rumble, he wants to do it Brooklyn style.  Bo Dallas comes out to the ring..
Bo tells "Mr. Brock" he has good news and bad news. The bad news is Lesnar passed out last night at SummerSlam. But the good news is that he eventually woke up and probably had a sweet dream, a good dream like he actually beat The Undertaker.  Lesnar runs over him to a big pop. Lesnar starts hitting several German suplexes, manhandling Bo. Fans chant for one more and Lesnar hits #4. Lesnar leaves the ring as his music hits. Heyman taunts him on the stage and Lesnar turns around. Lesnar goes back to the ring and Bo is still laying face down, knocked out. Lesnar hits another German suplex but fans want one more. He leaves the ring and they boo. Lesnar's music hits again but Heyman tries to talk him into going back to the ring. Lesnar turns around and fans pop. Lesnar goes back in and grabs Bo for a F5. Heyman takes the mic and says Lesnar does Bo-lieve, and drops Bo with an F5.

The Prime Time Players (Titus O'Neil & Darren Young) guests on commentary for the next match.

The New Day (Kofi Kingston & Big E.) beats The Lucha Dragons (Kalisto & Sin Cara).

After the match, The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray & D-Von) come out to a huge pop. They hit the ring and nail Woods at ringside. They unload on Kofi and Big E before dumping them both. Fans go nuts as they call for a table and put Woods through it with the Dudley Death Drop. They go to ringside and have words with The Prime Time Players before going back in the ring.

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon are backstage looking at Seth Rollins' statue and we see it for the first time. It features Rollins with both titles. He walks in and they hurriedly cover it back up. Rollins thanks them for everything they've done for him and WWE as a whole. Rollins says he saw the respect employees have for them when he took the tour at company HQ today. He feels WWE is better with them in charge and they feel the same way about him being champion. Rollins walks off and everyone is all smiles.

Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns vs. The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt & Luke Harper) ends when the lights go out and a man with a black sheep mask appears, which is revealed to be former NXT superstar Braun Stowman, who lays out both Ambrose and Reigns.

It's time for MizTV with guests Team PCB (Paige, Charlotte, Becky Lynch)! He talks about Team PCB winning at SummerSlam and out comes Becky Lynch, Paige and Charlotte.  Paige says they won because they don't look at their team like three separate Divas. Charlotte says her dad taught her about being a cohesive unit. She brings up the Four Horsemen. Miz says he's friends with Ric Flair.  Charlotte says Miz really has lived up to Flair's legacy. Miz names what he has done and says he surpassed Flair's legacy. Miz tries to encourage competition between Team PCB but they're not having it. They're open to any challenge but they're a unit. Team Bella (Brie Bella, Nikki Bella, Alicia Fox) interrupts, and Nikki says as long as she's champion, Team Bella will be the dominant team. Nikki says nobody has to prove anything to anyone and wins or losses don't matter. She talks about becoming the longest reigning Divas Champion in just 22 days. She says they can keep their SummerSlam win because all that matters is the title. Both teams argue and Miz starts yelling at them to shut up.  Miz starts insulting them and says they wrestle like a bunch of girls. Team PCB backs Miz up against the ropes. Team Bella attacks Team PCB from behind and fans boo. Miz retreats as Team Bella clears the ring.

Team Bella (Brie Bella, Nikki Bella, Alicia Fox) beats Team PCB (Paige, Charlotte, Becky Lynch).

Before his match with Neville, Stardust attacks King Barrett from behind.Stardust waits in the corner and out comes Neville. Thgey go at it. Neville drops him and goes for Red Arrow but Stardust scrambles out of the ring and retreats.

Jon Stewart comes out to a mixed reaction. He says he turned on John Cena at SummerSlam because he could not let Cena tie Ric Flair with 16 world title reigns, not on his watch. Stewart says to him, "the champ is Flair!" Ric Flair struts out to the ring to a huge pop. He appreciates what Stewart did, but he was rooting for Cena last night. Fans boo Flair. Flair says the record will be broken sooner or later, and he wants it to be by someone he respects.Flair says they don't have to like it but it's coming from the best thing going today. Stewart is full of "whooo's" as says God is here tonight. They go on and Flair says Stewart has messed everything up. John Cena shows up and  says that he and Stewart need to talk. Stewart asks about what. . Cena says what Stewart did is fine. He's at peace with Stewart not wanting him to tie Flair's record but Rollins is still WWE World Heavyweight Champion and is now the United States Champion. Stewart says he didn't think it through. Cena talks about how he's defended the US Title and made it mean something. Cena calls Stewart a dumb... he stops himself. Stewart says Cena seems upset and makes a joke. Cena yells that this is not a comedy show. Stewart says it was a beautiful match last night and he respects Cena for being a fighting champion but he's been a fan for years and as good as Cena is, he couldn't see Cena tying Flair's record against Rollins. Stewart apologizes for not seeing it through. Stewart tries to put some positive spin on the situation and says now Cena can win the title back. Cena understands Stewart did what he had to do and knows Stewart will understand that he's about to do the same. Cena nails Stewart with an Attitude Adjustment to a mixed reaction. Flair looks out over Stewart and smiles.

Renee Young interviews John Cena. He says that he has had his talk with Stewart, and now he will have a talk with Seth Rollins later.

Ryback, Cesaro, Dolph Ziggler and Randy Orton beats Sheamus, Rusev, Big Show and Kevin Owens.

After the match,  Rusev confronts Big Show. Kevin Owens joins in on the argument.  Big Show tells them to calm down before shoving them both to the mat. Owens comes back but Show grabs his throat. Rusev kicks Show for the save. Owens sends him into the corner. Rusev whips Owens' cannonball into Show in the corner and they leave. The opposing team surrounds Big Show now. Ziggler nails a superkick. Ryback and Cesaro press Show up and drop him into a RKO from Orton.

Luke Harper and Bray Wyatt backstage in their usual setting. Wyatt says the world witnesses Roman Reigns' moment of glory at SummerSlam and he hopes Reigns cherished it because it's over. Wyatt says we witnessed "her greatest" gift tonight. He introduces Braun Stowman and says he is Sister Abigail's black sheep.

The Authority (Stephanie McMahon and Triple H) approach John Cena. Stephanie calls him a sore loser for what he did to Stewart. Sthe says he can't get involved in the celebration for Rollins tonight and she has security to escort him out of the arena with his hands behind his back. Stephanie does the "you can't see me" taunt in Cena's face as they take him away.

Back from the break and out comes Triple H with Stephanie McMahon. Stephanie says she's going to get in trouble for what she's about to do. She says tonight is a celebration for Seth Rollins but another man is celebrating too - her father Vince McMahon. She knows he won't come out but she leads the crowd in singing "happy birthday" to him. Fans chant "we want Vince" and Stephanie says she doesn't think he's coming out. Triple H laughs and says Vince is so pissed off in the back right now.
Triple H starts talking about Seth Rollins and praising him big time. Triple H says Rollins deserves to be immortalized in bronze. He introduces the WWE World Heavyweight and United States Champion Seth Rollins, who thanks everyone and says this is a historic night for everyone in the WWE Universe. Rollins goes on and takes a shot at the Brooklyn Nets. Rollins says heroes get remembered but legends never die and when he defeated John Cena at SummerSlam, becoming the first man to hold the WWE and the US Title at the same time, he became a legend. Rollins says he becomes immortal with this statue. Rollins goes on about Cena and says he's worked every single day to become the man. Rollins says Cena has been the man for the past 10 years, that is true, but to be the man you've got to beat the man, and that's what he did at SummerSlam. Rollins says when they unveil the statue, like Triple H said he is no longer the future, he's the man. Rollins goes on about the statue, naming Bruno Sammartino, Andre the Giant and The Ultimate Warrior, who also have statues. Rollins says it's time and he can't wait anymore. He asks twice if Brooklyn is ready. We get a drum roll and when the curtain is raised, and Sting is standing there. Triple H and Stephanie quickly leave the ring. Rollins charges and Sting unloads with rights. Sting takes Rollins to the corner and gets a big pop. He hits the Stinger Splash and clotheslines Rollins out of the ring. He joins Stephanie and Triple H. Sting picks up the WWE World Heavyweight Title belt and Stephanie yells "never!" at him. Sting's music hits as Rollins and The Authority throw a fit to end the show.

After the break, Sting questions if "Dixie Carter's TNA" is TNA's future, and tells Dixie Carter she's crossed the line, especially with the "family emergency" that she used to get Kurt Angle out of the arena last week. Guest contributor: +PrinceWatercress

Kurt Angle shows up and calls 2013 the worst year of his career. Bobby Roode shows up and asks Angle if he knows he hasn't got what it takes anymore, before wanting Angle to admit Roode is the better man. Angle challenges him to another match. Roode thinks it's a joke and declines on the grounds that he's beaten him every time they've met since December...but then accepts if something is put on the line. If Roode wins, Angle cannot accept a TNA Hall of Fame induction. Angle accepts for Genesis, and wants the match in a steel cage. Roode angrily accepts, then both men fight until the refs break it up. Rockstar Spud shows and tells both men to find a tag team partner, as they are now both in a tag team match against each other later tonight.

Beer Money ("The Cowboy" James Storm and Bobby Roode) beat Gunnar and Kurt Angle. Angle attacks Roode after the match.

Sting is here!

Ethan Carter III gloats about what's going on with Jeff Hardy...whom he's challenged to a match tonight via Twitter. Hardy doesn't show up, but Sting does. Sting gets on Ethan's case for dodging him again and again, and after being called a lapdog a second time, Ethan takes his challenge...albeit at Genesis.

Eric Young's experiment with Joseph Park continues with Park taking on Bully Ray. Bully tells Park it's not in his best interest to get in the ring with him tonight.

Bully Ray kicks Joseph Park in the balls, leading to Park winning by disqualification. Bully Ray then squirts lighter fluid all over him and tries to light him on fire. Mr. Anderson returns, running in to take on Bully only to get squirted with the stuff as well. Bully leaves before either man can be set on fire.

The coronation of Magnus is about to being. After words by Rockstar Spud and Ethan Carter III, Dixie Carter comes out to play master of ceremonies. She introduces Magnus, who shows up in a suit. He thanks Ethan, Spud and Dixie before showing his true colors. All of a sudden, Gunner shows up with his Feast or Fired briefcase which gives him a shot at the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.

Gunnar intends to cash in, but gets beat up by Rockstar Spud and Ethan Carter III. Before Magnus can finish him off, AJ Styles shows up with his world title belt. It's soon just him and Magnus in the ring, and Styles says he's here because Dixie Carter screwed the fans over. He calls Magnus a farce, then challenges him to a match where the winner is the undisputed TNA champ. Much to Dixie's chagrin, Magnus goes against her and accepts the match for next week after AJ Styles says the challenge will go with him and that Magnus will doubt himself as a world champ if he declines.

Impact Wrestling Results for Dec. 26th, 2013

Contributor: PrinceWatercress

Rockstar Spud heads to the ring to introduce Dixie Carter. She has something planned next week, but Jeff Hardy shows up before she can mention it. Hardy tells her that her cronies' actions last week will haunt her. Rocksar Spud aggressively cuts him off and tells him to get out of the ring. Hardy grabs Spud by the throat and pushes him into the corner, but he gets attacked by Ethan Carter III soon afterward. Sting shows up before Dixie can speak again. He's tired of entitled punks running the show, and says he won't leave until he gets a match with Ethan...but he gets a better idea. Since Rockstar Spud originally came to TNA to wrestle, he wants a tag match between the team of Sting and Hardy vs EC3 and Spud. Carter makes the match, but can't make the announcement as the music continues to play just before the commercial break.
