Gettin' RAW - Monday Night RAW recap for November 23, 2015

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon show up to start the show. They make fun of Roman Reigns, as if to say "I told you so" for turning Triple H's opportunity down like he did and Spearing him at Survivor Series. He then says that life is defined the opportunities you take and the opportunities you make, and introduces us to someone who knows when to take an opportunity: the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Sheamus, who shows up and makes light of how he decimated Roman Reigns last night, comparing it to "Brutus stabbing Caesar." He then says he warned us that this would happen, then asks the WWE Universe one question: "Who looks stupid now?" Triple H and Stephanie McMahon then put Sheamus on a pedestal, saying he doesn't look stupid and instead looks like a WWE champion. Then, Roman Reigns shows up and gets straight down to business, demanding he wants his rematch for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship tonight. Stephanie says that won't happen because he Speared Triple H, and Roman immediately challenges Triple H's manhood for having her speak for him. The two of them then stare down, then HHH tells him he'll get his rematch when he says he'll get it, "which sure as hell won't be tonight." Suddenly, Reigns is kicked in the head from behind by...Rusev. Sheamus then Brogue Kicks Reigns. Rusev has returned, and he and Sheamus both join Triple H and Stephanie at the entrance ramp. HHH then announces that Roman's rematch for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship will be at TLC in a TLC Match. Stephanie then puts Reigns in a match against the returning Rusev tonight.

The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) show up to celebrate their one-year anniversary by making fun of Nashville, Tennessee and country music...as well as for a country music jamboree and a Tag Team Title open challenge. The challenge is answered by The Lucha Dragons (Sin Cara and Kalisto), but The New Day try to renege only for The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) to stop them. Sin Cara and Kalisto are okay with this being a Triple Threat tag team match, but The New Day complain about their jamboree being ruined and cancel the open challenge. The Usos and The Lucha Dragons respond by decimating The New Day.

Colter and Del Rio then turn on the fans for not giving Mexamerica a chance, and declare its borders closed forever. As Zeb continues to talk, Jack Swagger shows up. He tells Zeb he used to put his hand over his heart and stand for something, and now he has turned his back on America. Zeb and Del Rio get upset, and dares them to do something about it if they don't like it. Swagger then gets in the ring with Del Rio, but Del Rio slinks away along with Zeb Colter. Swagger then leads the WWE Universe in putting their hand over their hearts and saying "We, the people."

The Miz takes offense to Charlotte "inviting guests onto his show," but Becky Lynch takes Miz's microphone and tosses it towards the entrance ramp. Suddenly, Team Bella (Brie and Nikki Bella, Alicia Fox) show up and thanks Charlotte, Becky Lynch and The Miz for arguing like high schoolers as she takes back the Divas title. She also says that she started the Divas Revolution, but this starts an argument over who started the Divas Revolution. This starts a brawl between Team Bella and Team PCB.

He also goes so far to say that the Pope told him he's going to Heaven. Kane says that Rollins is a fun-loving guy, and we see another video package filled with moments where Seth puts Kane down constantly. Ashley then announces that Kane is sound of mind and more than capable of fulfilling his duties, and says that Seth Rollins should be evaluated for his cruel behavior. Seth calls this a travesty of justice, and blames this on Kane. He drops the World Heavyweight Championship, and when Kane tries to pick it up, Seth hits him with the Pedigree. He then takes a steel chair and smashes Kane's recently healed knee before hitting him repeatedly with it as he is down. He then tries to re-injure the knee by placing it in the chair and stomping the chair. A stretcher is brought out as a doctor checks on Kane, and Seth mocks Kane, telling him that he will never take the World Heavyweight title and that his days of being jealous of him are over. He says that they all fall down in the end, when Roman Reigns suddenly shows up. He says that this has always been about him and Bray, and that he plans to finish what they started here tonight. Roman says they don't even need a referee, and they can just fight each other right here, right now...which is exactly what they do, before Luke Harper and Braun Strowman get involved. Dean Ambrose rushes in and tries to help, but he and Roman combined still can't take Strowman off his feet. After this, The Wyatts stand tall until Randy Orton makes a surprise return and goes after all three Wyatt Family members. The three of them work together to knock Strowman out of the ring, and the steady stream of officials that have showed up throughout the brawl are able to get things under control as Ambrose, Reigns and Orton stand tall.

Instead, he gets Kane himself...and it's the corporate version of Kane, who apparently has no recollection of what he did last night, is very forgiving of Seth and is really, really cheerful. Charlotte says she's doing a good job if she can make him half as proud of her as she is of him, and says she has the best of friends in Paige and Becky Lynch, and says her following Paige is part of the reason she got here. Paige responds by saying Charlotte sounds like she's accepting a Hall of Fame award, and turns on both Charlotte and Becky, saying Charlotte is a "placeholder" and Becky Lynch is "the least relevant Diva" while also trashing every other Diva in WWE. She then says Charlotte wouldn't be here if it wasn't for "her old man" Ric Flair, and Becky Lynch has to keep Charlotte from smacking Paige. Paige leaves, then Team Bella (Brie and Nikki Bella, Alicia Fox) shows up. After the match, Big Show says that him beating Cesaro is a message to Brock Lesnar on October 3rd at Madison Square Garden, saying that he'll be lying on the ground like Cesaro. He then says he pinned Brock Lesnar and took the WWE Championship from him, and says the two of them have a long history. As for continuously bragging about Brock Lesnar breaking The Streak, he mentions all of the big names that tried and failed where Lesnar did not. He then says that Brock Lesnar broke Undertaker's undefeated streak at WrestleMania 30, and while he sold his soul to the devil, his ass belongs to Brock Lesnar. Undertaker pops up after the lights go dark and then turn back on. He is about to go after Paul Heyman when Lesnar rushes in. He says he has faced every challenge in front of him and walked away with the title each and every time, and that he is the "be all, end all" of champions in this industry. He still feels he was robbed by Undertaker and Lesnar, however, and tells Lillian Garcia to come into the ring and announce that he is still the World Heavyweight Champion.
