Gettin' RAW - Monday Night RAW recap for March 7, 2016

Shane McMahon starts tonight's show. He recaps what happened last week, and says he's lost a respect for his father Vince after he disowned him, and calls him "an egomaniacal, miserable old bastard" who has seriously lost touch. He then says it is his destiny to own Raw and beat The Undertaker, saying that Vince's tyrannical grasp as well as that of Triple H and Stephanie McMahon must stop, and that there are more talent that are more deserving of a push that need it. We hear the gong of 'Taker's theme, followed by Vince's theme. Vince shows up, and the crowd calls him an asshole before chanting for CM Punk. Vince says there is fear in Shane's eyes, and that he will feel that fear at WrestleMania 32. After saying that Stephanie McMahon will get everything now that Shane is out of the will, Vince then talks about the night Shane went to his very first WWE event. We see a picture of father of son from way back when, then Vince takes a picture frame with said photo in it and smashes it with his foot. Vince also says that Shane's children will see him fail against The Undertaker, as a family's dreams will be shattered as 'Taker puts an end to what Vince calls "his greatest failure." Vince then sics security on Shane, and tell them to escort Shane out of the building. Shane says he'll leave peacefully as long as nobody touches him, as he says he's pretty amped up tonight. One guy gets close and tries to put a hand on them, and he gets kneed in the face. The other security guards get in the ring, but they all get beat down, too. Shane stands tall, and Vince is astounded.

Kevin Owens beat Neville with a roll-up. After the match, Owens continues to attack Neville, but that attack is cut short by the surprise appearance of Sami Zayn, who goes straight for Owens and gives him a brawl he'll never forget.

Dolph Ziggler is talking with Zack Ryder when Stephanie McMahon shows up. After talk about Shane McMahon - and a tweet that he was forced to delete due to it being "disaparaging to The Authority," Stephanie puts Dolph Ziggler in an elimination handicap match against three members of The League of Nations (Sheamus, Rusev, King Barrett, Alberto Del Rio).

Summer Rae beats Brie Bella with a roll-up after Lana shows up and distracts Brie. After the match, Lana hits Brie Bella with a Bella Buster.

Dean Ambrose shows up. He loves that he's thrown a wrench in the works on the Road to WrestleMania, and says he's hijacking the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and WrestleMania 32, and says Triple H will respect him after Roadblock. He says that he and Triple H will be doing stuff for the community together, and says Triple H will make him a suit only to realise he's not a suit guy. As soon as he says he'll be a fighting champion, Triple H shows up. He says the World Heavyweight Championship will be around his waist as long as he allows it to be. Dean Ambrose tells Triple H to suck it, but Triple H says "Roadblock" is just a name from marketing and that Ambrose is a speed bump or pothole at best. He also says Ambrose has the same problem with authority as Roman Reigns. After more insults tossed back and forth, Ambrose dares Triple H to get in the ring. Triple H says he'll do it only on his time, then puts Ambrose in a match later tonight against Bray Wyatt to teach him a lesson that "The Authority always wins."

The League of Nations (Sheamus, Rusev, King Barrett) beat Dolph Ziggler in a 3-on-1 elimination match.

We see a video package of Shane McMahon's history in the WWE.

R-Truth passes by Mark Henry on his way to give Goldust a Chicago deep dish pizza. Goldust doesn't know what's up, until Truth mentions the Golden Truth idea. Goldust then says a true partner would know that he is lactose intolerant, and if he took one bite, his butt would explode. Goldust puts the pizza down and walks away, and as R-Truth says he didn't know about Goldust's exploding butt, Mark Henry takes the pizza all for himself.

Before the next match, The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) says that Y2AJ (Chris Jericho and AJ Styles) will never make it, and that they are a real team.

Tonight, however, he will use Dean Ambrose as an example of just how dangerous he can be and why he is called "The Eater of Worlds."

Dean Ambrose vs. Bray Wyatt ends with the arrival of the rest of The Wyatt Family (Luke Harper, Erick Rowan, Braun Strowman). The four of them then destroy Ambrose. Triple H then shows up, loosens his tie and gets in the ring. Bray Wyatt stares Triple H down, however, and Triple H returns the favor by staring down Wyatt, who then laughs, looks at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and touches it, then backs away with his Family. Triple H then deconstructs the commentary table, but when he gets back in the ring, Ambrose hits Triple H with Dirty Deeds. He then picks up the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and looks at it as he stares down Triple H from the corner.

Jericho makes fun of Sheamus' hair while saying he didn't want him on his show, then Alberto Del Rio jumps in and says that unlike Jericho, he's won a Royal Rumble match. Jericho makes fun of Del Rio, then Rusev says that every day in Bulgaria was a rumble, so this is nothing new to him. Roman Reigns says that he won the Royal Rumble match last year, and that Rusev almost won it that year. Roman decides he's had enough of Rusev, and challenges him to a match right now. It's time for The Highlight Reel. Jericho's guests tonight are Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns. Before the show begins, Jericho says he intends to win his first Royal Rumble match this year. Suddenly, Paul Heyman shows up, but Jericho wants to know where Lesnar is. Heyman says Lesnar is here tonight, and that he is clearly focused on Roman Reigns. When Jericho asks if Heyman tried to get Lesnar out of the Royal Rumble match because he did not like his chances, Heyman insists he did not and that Lesnar will wipe the floor with everybody, turning the Royal Rumble match into Suplex City in the process. When Jericho asks what would happen if he and Lesnar were the final two and Jericho ended up winning the whole thing, Lesnar shows up. Roman Reigns then makes his appearance before Lesnar can leap onto the ring apron. Lesnar gets in the ring with Roman and gets Speared almost instantly. As Roman goes to work on Lesnar, The League of Nations shows up. Roman and Lesnar take all of them down, then The Wyatt Family appears. Lesnar is out, leaving Roman to deal with the Wyatts alone. Rollins says he isn't stupid, and that he needs severe psychiatric help. Kane agrees on the second part, but says Rollins needs it, and it appears he has no recollection of him going demonic on Monday night. Kane thinks Rollins is making excuses to get out of his match against John Cena at Hell in a Cell, and thinks that Rollins is the one with the demon. He puts him in a match with The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) against The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray and D-Von)...and Demon Kane? SmackDown Hotel! - Thursday Night SmackDown recap for September 10, 2015

The show starts with The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, Braun Strowman) entering the ring. Wyatt says that Roman Reigns is cursed, sick and infected with the desire to become "the one." He admits that Reigns is a smart man, but says Reigns does not care about the WWE Universe and certainly not about they think about him. Wyatt says that if Reigns were to become WWE World Heavyweight Champion, everyone would bow down to him "like good little sheep do." He then focuses on Dean Ambrose, saying he is cursed with loyalty to a man he believes to be a brother-in-arms, and says he's missing more than "a few pieces upstairs." He sends a warning to anyone in the back that makes contact with Ambrose and Reigns: this is about the Wyatts vs. Reigns and Ambrose, and it should stay that way. Wyatt shows us what they did to Randy Orton on Monday as part of his reasoning, before telling them that apocalypse awaits Ambrose and Reigns at Night of Champions, and tells Jimmy Uso - Ambrose and Reigns' tag partner tonight - that he has an important choice to make and that choosing poorly will cost him dearly. Strowman takes off the black sheep mask, takes the mic, and says "They all fall down. Run."

Ambrose gets in the Uso mood, much to the bemusement of Reigns.

Paige vs. Sasha Banks ends when Paige plays possum and hits Sasha with a Spear, starting a brawl. Another ref is called in to separate the two, but Naomi and Tamina from Team B.A.D. and Charlotte and Becky Lynch from Team PCB show, starting an even bigger brawl. Charlotte and Becky have to keep Paige from tearing Sasha to pieces, as Naomi and Tamina get Sasha Banks out of harm's way.

Byron Saxton interviews Seth Rollins. He considers Monday night the lowest point in his career, thanks to Sting. He says that his statue was a symbol of his status as a legend, and says Sting's attempts at mind games are just him digging his grave, and he plans to crush his career much like Sting crushed his statue. As for his reamtch with Ryback, he requested it be a lumberjack so that the doubters can see that Ryback wouldn't have beaten him if it weren't for the distraction from Sting. At Night of Champions, he plans to retain both the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and the WWE United States Championship against Sting and John Cena, respectively. Suddenly, Sheamus shows up, and tells Rollins he may have three matches, as he can't decide when to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase and says Night of Champions sounds like a tempting time to do that. He then wishes him luck, and Rollins is left seething.

Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns vs. The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) ends with The Wyatt Family suddenly taking out Jimmy Uso with a choke-out from Braun Strowman. After they disappear, Bray Wyatt is heard saying "They all fall down."

The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor) - now led to the ring by Stardust - beat The Lucha Dragons (Sin Cara and Kalisto). Stardust and The Ascension attack The Lucha Dragons after the match, but Neville rushes in to make the save.

Gettin' RAW - Monday Night RAW recap for September 7, 2015

During the pre-show, The Miz talks with Cesaro and tells him that he can make him a breakout star, and turn the "Cesaro Section" into the "Cesaro Nation." Cesaro appears to shake hands with The Miz, but then nearly breaks it, and tells Miz that he's the last person he would ask for help. He then challenges Miz to a match later tonight in order to show him how he connects with the WWE Universe.

Seth Rollins shows up to start tonight's show. He gives the city of Baltimore, Maryland a reality check, saying that before him, cashing in the Money in the Bank Briefcase at WrestleMania was a pipe dream, Brock Lesnar was invincible, and that people were waiting for someone to topple John Cena off the top of the WWE mountain, which he says he did when he beat Cena at SummerSlam and became WWE World Heavyweight and United States Champion at the same time. He says that Baltimore, a city not known for greatness, now knows what greatness is thanks to him. He then focuses on Sting, who he still claims stole his statue that was meant for the Raw after SummerSlam and had the audacity to put his hands on the WWE World Heavyweight title. He says that at Night of Champions, Sting has the opportunity to validate his entire career, but Rollins himself has the opportunity to crush it and make sure he never goes for the World Heavyweight title ever again. He then focuses on his United States title defense against John Cena, also at Night of Champions, thanks to Cena's rematch clause. He says that 2015 has been his year, and Night of Champions will be his night, own Sting and John Cena just like he owns the ring and the WWE Universe, successfully defend both of his titles, and get his statue if that's the last thing he does, saying it belongs ringside next to the commentary table. Sting then appears on the TitanTron, saying the statue doesn't belong there and that it belongs with him. Sting then says that Seth Rollins is the man...the man without a statue. He says the statue is with him, and he taking's good care of it. He dares Rollins to come and get it before the TitanTron goes black. Suddenly, Sheamus shows up. He says Seth Rollins looks a little agitated, but Rollins says he's just looking for his statue. Sheamus says Rollins sounds stupid, and Rollins says Sheamus looks stupid. After a Ronald McDonald joke between the two, Sheamus then reminds Rollins that he can cash in on him with the Money in the Bank on him at any time...especially at Night of Champions.

Seth Rollins meets with Stephanie McMahon, looking for Triple H to see if he has a plan. Triple H suddenly shows up, and both Triple H and Stephanie tell him he's got this. He tells Rollins not to worry about Sheamus, and that Sheamus will have his hands full tonight with Randy Orton. As for the statue, he should focus on his title defenses at Night of Champions more than the statue, which is why Rollins has been set up with two matches tonight. The first one is a Champion vs. Champion match with Intercontinental champ Ryback, and the second one is Champions vs. Challengers as him and The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) team up against The Prime Time Players (Darren Young and Titus O'Neil) and John Cena.

Sasha Banks beats Paige thanks to the distraction by Naomi and Tamina.

Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns beat The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor). After the match, Braun Strowman appears on the TitanTron. He doesn't blame Ambrose and Reigns before being afraid, for he is destruction. Bray Wyatt shows up and says to take this as a warning for them and anyone who teams with them, as the apocalypse awaits them at Night of Champions. Luke Harper simply says "Run."

Renee Young interviews Ryback. Ryback plans to be a fighting champion, especially tonight. He then calls Seth Rollins a weasel, even though he is a thoroughbred in the prime in his career, though the later point won't stop him from beaing Ryback tonight. Kevin Owens shows up, eating an apple and wishing him good luck. Ryback tells him he's full of crap, but Owens tells him he looks a little hungry and tells him not to bite off more than he chew.

During Seth Rollins vs. Ryback, Sting appears on the TitanTron, telling Rollins he - and his statue - are waiting for him. This distraction gives enough time for Ryback to recover and beat Rollins with an inside cradle. After the match, Sting appears on the TitanTron again, this time just to taunt Rollins by putting a Sting mask on the statue.

Seth Rollins is looking for Sting backstage when The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) shows up. Seth is about to yell at them when The New Day notice that Edge and Christian show up, still angry that The Authority attacked them the last time they appeared on Raw and remind him they didn't get the job done. Seth leaves when Edge tells him to finish what he started and finish him off right now, saying he's got a lot on his plate, then both The New Day and the team of Edge and Christian have a trombone vs. kazoo battle...until The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley) show up, telling The New Day that they've talked to Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, and that The New Day have a rematch next week against The Prime Time Players (Darren Young and Titus O'Neil)...and the winners face The Dudley Boyz at Night of Champions. They then preview their new song, "Get the tables," with help from Edge and Christian.

Summer Rae is in the ring. After a video package recapping all that's gone down so far, Summer says that the past week has been the most horrendous week of her life and at the center of it all, there is a man who she claims is the "true victim" of all this that she feels the need to apologize to. That man, according to Summer Rae, is Rusev, and she asks him to come to the ring. He does, and Summer tells him that she owes much to him, and inspired her to pose for this month's Ironman magazine, among other things. She mentions that she let Dolph kiss her, and she might never forgive herself for what happened as she apologizes. Rusev almost immediately accepts her apology, then says that Summer is the true victim here due to "Ziggler's American lies," which have "also been fed to Lana." He refuses to accept Lana is not here because of a broken wrist, and says she's not here due to a broken heart. Dolph Ziggler shows up, saying that their attempt to drive a wedge between her and Lana aren't working, and that Lana has asked him to send Rusev a message: a super kick to Rusev's jaw. Rusev and Summer immediately retreat.

Randy Orton talks with Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns before his match.

Randy Orton beats Sheamus. After the match, Orton is suddenly surrounded and attacked by The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, Braun Strowman). Strowman then chokes out Orton, just like he has done to Dean Ambrose in recent weeks, before hitting the coup de grace.

The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley) beat Los Matadores (Fernando and Diego) after Diego repeatedly tells El Torito to get off the ropes and slaps him for not listening, allowing The Dudleys hit to hit a Dudley Death Drop on Diego. After the match, Fernando turns on El Torito, and The Dudleys can't believe what they're seeing. Not surprisingly, Fernando goes through a table after D-Von interrupts his yelling at El Torito to get a few shots on him. After that, Bubba Ray and JBL high-five each other.

Big Show shows up during Cesaro vs. The Miz and plays cat-and-mouse with him. The match ends in a double count-out after The Miz escapes into the WWE Universe. Big Show then knocks Cesaro out on his way back to the back.

Team Bella (Brie and Nikki Bella, Alicia Fox) show up. Once again, they brag about the BellaTron and how, in one week, Nikki Bella will be the longest-reigning Divas Champion ever. She plans to throw a "Bellabration" next week to celebrate this fact...until Team PCB (Paige, Charlotte, Becky Lynch) shows up. Charlotte says she loves a party, but is slighted the fact that she - and Team PCB - weren't invited. Her petition to face her for the Divas title before the record can be broken has been granted, and she plans to take the title before the record can be broken next week. This starts a brawl between Team Bella and Team PCB, where PCB easily stand tall with a Figure Eight to Nikki.

John Cena and The Prime Time Players (Darren Young and Titus O'Neil) beat Seth Rollins and The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Big E). After the match, Sting appears on the TitanTron once again...and it turns out that Sting was outside the building in front of a garbage truck the entire time. He pushes Rollins' statue into the back of the truck, and the statue easily gets crushed. Rollins is absolutely livid.

Seth Rollins shows up to start SmackDown tonight. He calls Brock Lesnar a coward for injuring J&J Security (Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble) as well as destroying their new Cadillac CTS. He promises to both beat and humiliate Brock Lesnar...then a tow truck with the Cadillac shows up, with the Cadillac in even worse shape than it was at the end of Raw. Paul Heyman shows up, and makes it clear to Rollins that what happened to the Cadillac will pale compared to what Lesnar will do to Rollins at Battleground. Rollins states the opposite will happen to Lesnar, and that Heyman soon won't have anyone to advocate for. Randy Orton shows up. He admits that nobody in the past 13 years has gotten under his skin quite like Sheamus, and says that he plans to make Sheamus entertaining by taking his mohawk and shoving it up his white, pasty arse. Suddenly, The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor) show up and tell him to leave or fall victim to two hungry wolves. Konnor gets an RKO, then Viktor gets the second rope DDT before getting an RKO of his own.

Tonight after SmackDown, Alicia Fox guest stars on the season premiere of Dominion.

Brie Bella and Alicia Fox beat Naomi and Tamina.

Kyle Edwards interviews Ryback. Ryback admits Seth Rollins is talented, but also says that Rollins is a coward. He told him what it means to be a champion two weeks ago, but now he's going to show him.

J&J Security (Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble) were out and about in Chicago earlier today. Their first stop is Wrigley Field…and they’re not impressed.

The real Bray Wyatt appears on the TitanTron saying “Anyone but you.” Before Sheamus can leave, Randy Orton shows up for the first time in weeks and gives Sheamus a beatdown.

Seth Rollins talks to Triple H backstage. HHH initially tells Rollins to stay away from Lesnar tonight, and then tells him to use Paul Heyman’s advice to never intentionally provoke Brock Lesnar in his favor.

Rusev and Summer Rae are in the ring. He says that he wasted a year of his life with Lana, and calls the WWE Universe for carrying her under their wing and still sticking with her. He also says Dolph Ziggler is not on his integrity or strength level, and that he’s better looking and more passionate than him. Dolph Ziggler and Lana show up, and tells Rusev that all of his success in WWE has been due to Lana. Summer Rae and Lana take their heels off and are about to go at it when Rusev hits Ziggler with one of his crutches and immediately destroys him, revealing that he is no longer hurt. Summer Rae easily gets rid of Lana and Rusev continues to stomp a mudhole in Ziggler. Ziggler tries to battle back, but to no avail. Rollins brags about the beating Brock Lesnar was given last week, and says that he will burn Suplex City to the ground at Battleground as he calls Brock Lesnar “yesterday’s news.” He then asks Lesnar if he’s the monster he’s said to be or if he’s just “Paul Heyman’s bitch.” Brock Lesnar shows up along with Paul Heyman. Lesnar slowly approaches the ringalone, then slowly back away. Heyman brings out a box, and inside is two axes – with the blades – which he uses to destroy the Cadillac. At one point, Lesnar rips out one of the back doors with his bare hands, smashes it on the floor and tosses it several yards. J&J Security rush him only for Noble to get his arm broken with a Kimura Lock and Mercury to be sent straight into the front windshield with a belly-to-back suplex. Lesnar then takes his shirt off and rushes the ring, jumping over the ropes in record time and chasing after Rollins only for Rollins to escape. Lesnar then takes the WWE World Heavyweight Championship – which Rollins has left behind – and lifts it up.

John Cena retains the WWE United States Championship against Cesaro. After the match, Kevin Owens rushes back in to attack Cena but is forced to retreat after eating an Attitude Adjustment.
