Gettin' RAW - Monday Night RAW recap for August 31, 2015

Sting appears to begin tonight's show. He admits that Triple H pushed him to his limits at WrestleMania 31, but he did the same to Triple H, and for that he has respect for him. But that was then, and this is now, and he now has his sights set on Seth Rollins, who he says "is no Triple H" and is only a legend is own mind. He also says that Rollins isn't even half the man that Triple H is. Sting says that the WWE World Heavyweight Champion has eluded him until now, and he plans to write the last chapter in his career by taking it from Rollins, who he says is in "for one heck of a ride."

Meanwhile, Seth Rollins and Stephanie McMahon have watched Sting's promo from backstage. Rollins is incensed with what Sting just said about him, but Stephanie does agree with Sting when he said that Rollins isn't even half the man Triple H is, but says that one day, Rollins will get there. Rollins then asks about his statue, and if it's ready for Night of Champions. Stephanie tells him to go ask Sting.

Dolph Ziggler beats Rusev by disqualification when Summer Rae interferes. Lana rushes into the ring afterward to get a few shots in on Summer before Ziggler breaks it up.

Renee Young interviews Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler says he hasn't seen the last of Rusev, and heads into the locker room. Summer Rae sneaks inside as Renee speaks toward the camera.

Team Bella (Brie and Nikki Bella, Alicia Fox) is in the ring. Nikki brags once again about how she will soon become the longest-reigning Divas Champion in WWE history and introduces the BellaTron, which shows the countdown showing how long Nikki has before she overtakes AJ Lee's record.

Becky Lynch beats Alicia Fox with the Disarmher in a Beat The Clock Challenge to set the pace at three minutes, twenty-one seconds (3:21). The three members of Team PCB (Paige, Charlotte, Becky Lynch) are in a Beat The Clock Challenge, and the winner of the challenge gets a WWE Divas Championship match against Nikki Bella at Night of Championship.

Rich Brennan interviews Ryback. Ryback says a staph infection couldn't keep him down, and neither could The Miz. As he says that he plans to take down The Big Show tonight, we see and hear Summer Rae run away giggling, while Dolph Ziggler looks around in vain for Summer outside of the locker room with a towel around his waist.

The Miz guests on commentary for the next match.

During Big Show vs. Ryback, Show grabs the microphone and tells the WWE Universe that if they want him to retire, they'll need to find someone who can do it. Ryback tries to grab him after this, but Show's weight overpowers Ryback, who kicks out at two.

Ryback retains the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Big Show after The Miz distracts Show.

Charlotte beats Brie Bella in a Beat The Clock Challenge with one minute and forty-one seconds (1:41) left on the clock. The new time to beat is one minute and forty seconds (1:40).

Renee Young interviews The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley). They're here for two reasons: putting everyone through a table and to become 10-time WWE Tag Team Champions. They plan on putting The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) through a table instead of just knocking them off.

Kevin Owens beats Cesaro after knocking him ribs first into the commentary table.

Dolph Ziggler and Lana are backstage. Dolph tells Lana that Summer Rae was in the locker room for two seconds and that he grabbed a towel as soon as he saw her, but nothing happened. Lana, disappointed at the fact that Summer Rae saw him naked, silently walks away.

Before the next match, Bray Wyatt thanks Sister Abigail for her greatest gift: The Black Sheep, Braun Strowman. He tells Strowman this is his moment and to show what he stands for and why he exists. Wyatt says that after tonight, there will be no guessing when the end of the world will be, and that The Wyatt Family (Wyatt, Luke Harper, Strowman) will walk through undisguised. Strowman then gets the mic, and says that this isn't the beginning...this is the end.

Braun Strowman vs. Dean Ambrose ends after Roman Reigns fights Strowman in response to Strowman shoving Reigns. Not surprisngly, Strowman overpowers both men, and not even a steel chair to the back can stop him. Harper rushes in to kick Reigns, and Strowman chokes Ambrose out. Bray Wyatt then hits Sister Abigail on Reigns after thanking Sister Abigail for Strowman.

Renee Young interviews Seth Rollins, who is incensed that he can't find his bronze statue that was promised to him after SummerSlam. Later tonight, Rollins plans to call out Sting and demand that he return his statue to him. As for Sting's comments about him, he plans to remind Sting of why he's the man right now.

Paige fails to beat Sasha Banks in a Beat The Clock Challenge when Tamina and Naomi save Banks from being pinned. Charlotte is officially the new #1 contender for the WWE Divas Championship and will face Nikki Bella at Night of Champions.

Renee Young interviews Lana. During the commercial, Renee Young also interviewed Summer Rae, who claims that Ziggler invited her to the dressing room to bury the hatchet between their respective sides, and that when she did, he got naked and gave her "the look." She then said that she ran away due to her relationship with Rusev, but says she'll never forget Ziggler being naked in front of her. Lana is about to cry and just walks away.

Before the next match, The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) call The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley) are a menace to society, culture, the Tag Team Championships...and furniture. For that last reason, they have decided to start the "Save The Tables Movement," and pull out a table from underneath the ring that is still in bubble wrap, stating that it is the last table there is, and say that The Dudley Boyz will do anything they can to break that table. They then start a "Save The Tables" chant.

The Prime Time Players (Darren Young and Titus O'Neil) guest on commentary for the next match.

The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley) beat The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Big E) in their first WWE match in a decade. Also, the table that was brought out before the match is nearly broken, but Xavier Woods saves Big E before the Dudleys can out him through it.

This Thursday on SmackDown: Miz TV with guests Dolph Ziggler and Lana!

Seth Rollins shows up. He says that he had no problem with Sting at all up until last week, and that he revered him as a legend in the ring...until Sting hijacked his statue and ruined the unveiling ceremony. Rollins proceeds to call himself a real man, and calls Sting out, demanding two things: to take back what he said about him at the top of the show, and to return his bronze statue. When he asks Sting to come out and tell him where he put his statue, Stephanie McMahon shows up instead. She knows that she asked him to call out Sting, but tells him to stop talking about Triple H and that Sting has gotten into his head. Rollins calls out Sting again, but this time he gets John Cena. He tells Rollins to remember this moment, as he is about to find out how expendable he is, and that Stephanie McMahon is the one who will make him miserable. After calling Rollins out on basically everything he's ever done since he turned his back on Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns, he tells Rollins that he's buying into their bullcrap, and if they really were their friends, he wouldn't be allowed to do what he's about to do: cash in his rematch clause for the WWE United States Championship at Night of Champions, forcing Rollins to defend two different titles in two different matches on the same night at that event. When Cena asks Stephanie is the match is on, she says yes. After Cena walks to the top of the ramp, Sting walks out and stands side by side with Cena.

Here are the top ten moments from tonight's show!

Rollins says he becomes immortal with this statue. Rollins goes on about Cena and says he's worked every single day to become the man. Rollins says Cena has been the man for the past 10 years, that is true, but to be the man you've got to beat the man, and that's what he did at SummerSlam. Rollins says when they unveil the statue, like Triple H said he is no longer the future, he's the man. Rollins goes on about the statue, naming Bruno Sammartino, Andre the Giant and The Ultimate Warrior, who also have statues. Rollins says it's time and he can't wait anymore. He asks twice if Brooklyn is ready. We get a drum roll and when the curtain is raised, and Sting is standing there. Triple H and Stephanie quickly leave the ring. Rollins charges and Sting unloads with rights. Sting takes Rollins to the corner and gets a big pop. He hits the Stinger Splash and clotheslines Rollins out of the ring. Seth Rollins beats John Cena after Jon Stewart shows up with a steel chair and nails Cena with it on purpose as the referee is down. He then lets Seth Rollins use it to hit the Pedigree on Cena to win both the WWE United States Championship and retain the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

Team PCB (Paige, Charlotte, Becky Lynch) beat Team B.A.D. (Naomi, Tamina, Sasha Banks) and Team Bella (Brie and Nikki Bella, Alicia Fox) in a Divas Team Elimination Match.

Kevin Owens beats Cesaro.

The Undertaker beats Brock Lesnar with Hell's Gate, but not without controversy. The bell rings without the referee calling for it, as the timekeeper saw 'Taker tap to the Kimura Lock, but the referee did not as he was checking Lesnar's shoulders to make sure they were not down during the hold. The match continues, regardless, and after a low blow and an opportunity to lock in the Hell's Gate, Lesnar taps out and the match goes to Undertaker. The replay later proves that the timekeeper did see 'Taker tap out, but the official result still stands. Paul Heyman refuses to accept the loss, and declares Lesnar the winner by submission.

SmackDown Hotel! - WWE SmackDown recap for August 13, 2015

Seth Rollins shows up to begin the show. Rollins talks about how if we don't stop to soak stuff in, we'll be taking life for granted. He then compares himself to Babe Ruth and Michael Jordan, saying he is currently at the top of his game. As he brags about beating Randy Orton and Neville in recent weeks, as well as breaking John Cena's nose, he says that the WWE Universe's grandchildren and their grandchildren's grandchildren will know that the greatest moment in the WWE was Rollins in his prime. After a replay of Cena's recent appearance on Tough Enough, Rollins says that Cena accepted his challenge for SummerSlam, but is miffed he announced it on Tough Enough and had Daniel Bryan accept for him, so he wants him to accept it to his face next week on Raw. He then says that anyone who takes him on will fail, and as he lists who has failed, Neville shows up. Neville is tired of Rollins running his mouth, and says Rollins left out the fact that John Cena still beat him with a broken nose and that Sheamus would be World Heavyweight Champion right now if it weren't for Orton. Rollins just simply mocks Neville, and tells him to turn around and leave, but Neville isn't going anywhere and makes it clear that Rollins goes on...and on...and on...and on...until Cesaro shows up. Cesaro says that Neville is right about Rollins, as is the WWE Universe and the Cesaro Section, and as he talks, he is suddenly attacked by Kevin Owens. Rollins uses this distraction to attack Neville and talk trash to him afterwards.

Charlotte beats Naomi with the Figure Eight.

Cesaro and Neville vs. Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens is official for later tonight.

Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper show up and talk about how humans are inherently evil and all it takes is the switch to be flipped. Harper says he's different as he was born holding the Devil's hand. Wyatt says he gave Harper sight, and says that Harper's eyes are set on Roman Reigns tonight. At SummerSlam, it will be family versus family. Dean Ambrose shows up as Wyatt speaks. Ambrose doesn't have much to say, and he's just here to see Roman Reigns talk with his fists.

Roman Reigns beats Luke Harper by disqualification after Bray Wyatt breaks up a pinfall. After the match, Dean Ambrose, who is also at ringside for the match, fights off both Wyatt and Harper, but Reigns makes the save. Harper and Wyatt are forced to escape through the crowd.

Rich Brennan interviews Sheamus. He says the WWE Universe is tired of the same old thing, and deserves to be entertained. He almost did just that on Monday night, but Randy Orton ruined everything. He plans to be back on next week's Raw so he can erase Orton out of existence so it's just him and Seth Rollins. He then says the future is just one Brogue Kick away.

Wednesday Night iMPACT! - Impact Wrestling recap for August 12, 2015

Jeff and Karen Jarrett shows up with various members of the Global Force Wrestling roster. The stars of GFW square off against the stars of TNA!

Jeff and Karen Jarrett enter the ring to start the show. He is surprised by what has transpired since the phone call from Dixie Carter. He talks about his founding of Global Force Wrestling, and how it is competition at the highest level...which is what tonight will be like now that he is in charge. He plans to create a new rivalry, now that he's asked Dixie to bring Global Force Wrestling back, and he's doing it for the fans. For the first time ever, GFW takes on TNA. and Sonjay Dutt of GFW taks on Tigre Uno of TNA. TNA's Awesome Kong takes on GFW's Lei'D Tapa. The Wolves defend the TNA Tag Team titles against Trevor Lee and Brian Myers. Jarrett also mentions that he will defend the TNA King of the Mountain championship tonight, but as he does, Eric Young shows up. EY says he doesn't care about the fans or Jarrett; he only cares about himself. He calls himself the King of the World, saying he beat Kurt Angle twice and took Chris Melendez's leg off because he felt like it. He then demands he play promoter and make a match between him and Jarrett for the King of the Mountain title, with every intention of taking the title as well as Jarrett's dignity and career. Jarrett says he doesn't work for him, and he damn sure doesn't work for EY. He says that the King of the Mountain is neither a GFW or a TNA title, and that the first-ever interpromotional King of the Mountain match is tonight. He gives EY a spot in it, then leaves. EY attacks Jarrett as soon as Jarrett turns his back. Members of the GFW chase EY out of the ring, and EY is joined by some TNA wrestlers. Men from both sides brawl against each other.

Jeff Jarrett tells his roster to win his matches and says this is not an invasion.

Royal Red introduces himself and re-introduces Lei'D Tapa to the TNA audience before the next match, and says that all who challenge her will bow down.

Awesome Kong vs. Lei'D Tapa ends in a double count-out. Both women brawl after the match, but Awesome Kong brings it to a quick end.

We meet PJ Black (formerly Justin Gabriel). He prepares for King of the Mountain like he does the rest of his matches, and he's here to show the world what PJ Black is all about.

Drew Galloway is no stranger to the King of the Mountain match, and he plans to get the job done for TNA and himself after being in such a match once before at Slammiversary XIII.

Bobby Roode is here. He says that to say that things are getting crazy around here is an understatement. There are a lot of unanswered questions with a lot of unknowns around here, and he's frustrated. Roode is also frustrated that he wasn't even considered for tonight's King of the Mountain match, and says if Jarrett has a problem with it, he should say it to his face. He also calls out Rockstar Spud for ending Austin Aries' TNA career last week, and Spud shows up. He says that that match is proof that anybody can come in and beat anybody at any time. Roode then sarcastically thanks him for a job well done. Spud says he'd never thought he'd be in the same ring as Roode and that Roode could be such a condescending prick. After talking about all the times he's proved people wrong, from becoming a wrestler to facing Kurt Angle to beating Austin Aries and ending his TNA career, and how he's been an underdog his entire life, he tells Roode that unlike other "little guys," this little guy fights back. Roode tells Spud he's right, but says that if he was in the ring with Spud and not Aries, he'd make sure he'd end Spud's career, and he'll take his aggression out on anybody that he likes. Spud then get the first shot on Roode, but Roode gets the upper hand and beats Spud up, hitting him with the microphone, throwing him into the steel steps and choking him with own jacket before putting him in the Crossface.

Jeff Jarrett confronts Bobby Roode for his actions towards Rockstar Spud. Roode calls it a wake-up for Jeff Jarrett and TNA management.

Lashley beats "The Man" Jesse Godderz to qualify for the King of the Mountain match later tonight.

Drew Galloway has been found knocked out backstage in the same area Bully Ray was knocked out last week...

Jeff Jarrett, Karen Jarrett and Dixie Carter meet up to figure out what to do about the mystery attacks. Jeff pledges to keep an eye on the show while Dixie heads to the hospital to check on Drew Galloway.

Ethan Carter III shows up. He talks about what the TNA World Heavyweight Championship means to him: a culmination of his life work and proof that he's better than any other person in any locker room. He goes on to make fun of Matt Hardy's loss to him and says that he will be world champion here, now and forever. Matt Hardy shows up and congratulates EC3 for beating him in a match that he and brother Jeff Hardy made into a TNA specialty, but tells EC3 that he is not going away as long as he is champion. EC3 admits that nobody has ever hit him as hard as when Hardy leg dropped him through the table, but he can't decide if he gets another shot at the World championship and lets the fans do it. The fans want it, and Hardy wants it, but EC3 ultimately says no and Tyrus clocks Hardy before holding him down so EC3 can hit him with the World title.

Tary Terrell asks Jade and Marti Bell to fight her in a cage and end her forever so Gail Kim won't be able to lay a finger on her again. This match is official for next week.

Chris Mordetzky calls King of the Mountain Global Force Wrestling's chance to outshine TNA, and his own chance to walk out as the best man and become King of the Mountain.

The Wolves (Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards) beat Trevor Lee and Brian Myers.

Lashley says that he can go into any match and beat anyone they throw at him. He plans to defend TNA in the King of the Mountain match and defend TNA well by destroying anyone thrown in his path.

Tigre Uno beats Sonjay Dutt.

Jeff Jarrett meets Ethan Carter III and Tyrus and tells EC3 he's proud of him, but EC3 thinks this is some sort of facade and tells him he's got his eyes on him. He tells him to watch the King of the Mountain match tonight, as the winner gets a shot at the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.

Mr. Anderson's recent feud with Bram has made him come to the conclusion that he's quitting when he's good and ready. Next week, Anderson takes on Bram in an Open Mic Challenge. Whoever grab the microphone gets to use it as a weapon.

Robbie E replaces Drew Galloway in the King of the Mountain match after Drew Galloway was attacked earlier in the night.

PJ Black beats Robbie E, PJ Black, Chris Mordetzky and Eric Young to win the TNA King of the Mountain Championship! Ethan Carter III can be seen holding up the TNA Heavyweight Championship at the top of the entrance ramp.

Generation NXT - NXT recap for August 12, 2015

Kyle Edwards interviewed William Regal earlier this week. He grants Kevin Owens' request for the ladder match for the NXT Championship at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn due to the fact that Finn Balor will defend the NXT Championship regardless of the circumstances. He wishes the best of luck to both competitors.

Tye Dillinger shows up for the next match calling himself "The Perfect 10."

"The Perfect 10" Tye Dillinger beats Solomon Crowe.

Earlier today, Mojo Rawley and Zack Ryder meet outside. It appears Zack Ryder would stay in bed while Rawley is out at the club with ten chicks. Nope. Make that twelve.

Baron Corbin quickly beats Axel Tischer. During the match, the NXT Universe boos Corbin, calling him "boring." Corbin grabs the microphone and says he dominates every time he gets in the ring, and says the same tired story will play every time he gets in it, and that nobody gets up from the End of Days. All of a sudden, Steve Cutler tries to fight Corbin but also eats the End of Days. After Corbin repeats himself, Samoa Joe shows up and says that won't happen when he gets in the ring with him. Corbin says he can hit him with the End of Days, and Joe dares him to do it to him right now. Corbin says it'll happen, just not right now. He bumps into Joe, which starts a brawl between the two men that ends with the rear naked choke on Corbin, and Corbin ends up getting choked out.

Bull Dempsey is hard at work at getting fit. Iron sharpens iron...

Tyler Breeze asked for something monumental at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn, and is impressed with Regal doing just that by making Jushin "Thunder" Liger his opponent.

Finn Balor beats Marcus Louis. After the match, Kevin Owens attacks Finn Balor as he is on his way out. Finn Balor fights out of a power bomb in to the apron and knocks Owens right into a barricade before sending him into the ring, but Owens hits Balor with a pop-up power bomb in the end. Owens then picks up the NXT Championship, climbs back into the ring, then mocks Finn Balor. He then steps on Balor on his way out

The Vaudevillians (Aiden English and Simon Gotch) meet up with Alexa Bliss in the back. She's not impressed with them, and slaps them after mocking their potential plans to counter her presence in the ring at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn.

Apollo Crews says he's not stopping until he becomes the best.

Sasha Banks guests on commentary for the next match.

Bayley takes advantage of Becky Lynch's penchant for breaking her arm to beat Becky and become the new #1 contender for the NXT Women's Championship.

Gettin' RAW - Monday Night RAW recap for August 10, 2015

Seth Rollins shows up to welcome us all to "Monday Night Rollins" to start the show. He makes fun of John Cena, then makes a reference to the "Straight Outta" meme that has hit the Internet recently by saying that Cena is "straight outta action." He says that if Cena wants to forfeit the WWE United States Championship to him, he can, so he can hold the United States and World Heavyweight titles at the same time. He also makes fun of John Cena's appearance on Tough Enough tomorrow night, saying Cena isn't tough enough to take him on. He then finds out from ring crew that John Cena is here tonight...via satellite. Cena's face, complete with broken nose, shows up on the TitanTron. However, it's all a trick, as Seth Rollins' mouth is on top of Cena's and it is Rollins' voice that makes fun of Cena and makes him look like a weakling. As Rollins talks to "Cena," Cesaro shows up and interrupts Rollins and challenges him to a match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. As Rollins asks Cesaro what he's done to deserve a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship, Kevin Owens shows up and says Cesaro has done nothing, makes fun of the "Cesaro Section" signs, and says that he himself has beaten John Cena while Rollins has tapped out to him. Shortly afterwards, Randy Orton shows up and says he's deserving of a World Heavyweight title shot as well. Rollins tells all three of them they're getting nothing, says they're all deaf and dumb, and tells them to get out of his ring. Triple H shows up after this, and says Cena's status for SummerSlam is 50/50. He makes a Triple Threat Match for tonight - Owens vs. Cesaro vs. Orton - and the winner gets a shot at Rollins and the World Heavyweight Championship.

The Submission Sorority (Paige, Charlotte, Becky Lynch) - now known as Team PCB after the first initials of the three members - guest on commentary for the next match.

Team Bella (Brie and Nikki Bella, Alicia Fox) beat Team B.A.D. (Naomi, Tamina Snuka, Sasha Banks). After the match, both teams brawl, and Team PCB (Paige, Charlotte, Becky Lynch) gets in on the action. Team PCB stands tall in the end.

The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Big E) beat Los Matadores (Fernando and Diego).

The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) find out they're facing The Prime Time Players (Darren Young and Titus O'Neil), Los Matadores (Fernando and Diego) and The Lucha Dragons (Sin Cara and Kalisto) for the tag team titles at SummerSlam.

Triple H has to get Seth Rollins to stop complaining backstage again, this time concerning the World Heavyweight title match, and tells him he has to put up every single night.

Randy Orton beats Cesaro and Kevin Owens to get a shot at Seth Rollins and the WWE World Heavyweight Championship later tonight.

Dean Ambrose considers Roman Reigns the first real friend he's ever had, and the both of them consider themselves truer family than Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper will ever be.

We get a special look at Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker.

Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker meet one last time before SummerSlam next week on Raw.

Luke Harper beats Dean Ambrose in a chaotic match which also sees Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt going at it.

It's time for Miz TV. Miz introduces Stephen Amell to the crowd, and tells him to call him when Stardust gets done with him so he can teach him how to act. He then introduces tonight's guest: Daniel Bryan. After some clowning around, Miz wants to talk about how he made Daniel Bryan, but D-Bry tells him not to take credit for making him, as he did all this himself. Miz also talks about D-Bry being on the shelf, and D-Bry mentions his recently released autobiography and his role on Tough Enough. Miz then asks D-Bry if Big Show should retire. Big Show shows up and says tells the WWE Universe that if they want him retired, they'd better find somebody who will retire him. All of a sudden, Ryback's music hits...and Ryback has officially returned. Ryback and Big Show stare down, and Daniel Bryan tosses Miz in-between them. All three men go at it, but Ryback easily puts Show and Miz away. Ryback then fells Miz once and for all with a Meat Hook.

Lana guests on commentary for the next match. She says that Dolph Ziggler is quickly getting better and will be back after SummerSlam.

Rusev vs. Mark Henry ends when Lana and Summer Rae fight each other again. This time around, however, Summer Rae attacks Lana and tortures her with her own version of the Accolade. When the Bulgarian flag comes down, Rusev's photo is on it.

Neville quickly beats King Barrett, then Stardust immediately attacks Neville. He then stares down with Stephen Amell before shoving him. Amell jumps the barricade and goes after Stardust. Security holds Amell back, and Barrett has to get Stardust out of there. Neville shakes hands with Amell afterward.

Triple H has Neville and Stephen Amell with security backstage. Amell makes it perfectly clear he wants Stardust at SummerSlam, and Neville wants it to be a tag team match against King Barrett and Stardust. Triple H makes it official.

Jojo interviews Sheamus. He doesn't know who to root for, but in the end, he knows he'll be WWE World Heavyweight Champion in the end.

Randy Orton vs. Seth Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship ends when Sheamus interferes. Sheamus attacks Orton and Brogue Kicks Rollins, but Orton ends Sheamus' attempt to cash in his Money In The Bank Briefcase.

Also, in three weeks, Jay Lethal will defend the ROH World Television title against War Machine member, Hanson on Ring of Honor Wrestling television. Saturday Night's Main Event - Main Event recap for August 8, 2015

Big Show shows up to start the show. Show says he had two goals when he started wrestling: to be the best giant this business ever saw, and to make all the money he could. He fins it funny that he has made certain choices to provide for himself and his family, but the WWE Universe calls him a sell-out when they would have easily done the same thing if they were in his shoes and Show wants to know why. Show then goes on to say that he is the greatest giant ever seen, that he's won more championships than Andre the Giant, and has held nearly every title in the WWE. He then says everyone in the locker room - and the crowd - is beneath him and wish they could be someone like him. Show then focuses on Ryback and his "feed me more" message. Ryback is still Intercontinental champ, but is at home with a serious injury. We then see the photo of Ryback’s knee. All Show has gotten out of this is that Ryback is weak and wants everyone to be amazed at his staph infection, and that he will overcome it with the help of the WWE Universe and seize the day. Show calls Ryback's belief that any obstacle can be overcome is garbage, and that Ryback's fifteen minutes of fame are up, as he will still have to deal with Big Show, to whom he will lose the Intercontinental Championship to. Show then says that he has learned in his 20+ years in the business that everyone's dreams are worth destroying. Jack Swagger shows up and tells Show to shut the hell up. Show mocks Swagger, telling him he is not the Jack who is going to cut down the beanstalk and kill the giant. He tells Swagger to go to the back, but Swagger says that Show is scared, and that he picked the wrong city to be scared in. He wants everyone to stand up. He can either leave, or go to the ring and fight.

Big Show beats Jack Swagger.

The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor) are in the ring. Viktor says "lucha" might mean fight in Spanish, but tonight it means dead meat. Tonight, they will crush their dreams of ever being the Tag Team Champions. Konnor says that after they are done slaying the Lucha Dragons (Sin Cara and Kalisto), The Prime Time Players (Darren Young and Titus O'Neil) are next. Viktor says you are looking at the next WWE Tag Team Champions.

Sports analyst and writer Michael Schiavello takes Vampiro's place on commentary for the night.

Johnny Mundo beats Alberto el Patron with a surprise assistance from his longtime partner Melina Perez, who has not been in a ring in nearly five years. After the match, the two lip lock in the ring. Alberto comes from behind and throws Mundo outside the ring and attacks him, and slams his head into a window (much like what Mundo did to him). Melina throws a drink at El Patron and fights back, before he turns her around and spanks her. Alberto winks at her and stands tall.

Dragon Azteca finds Black Lotus in the cell. Once she asks him whether he was coming for her, Dario Cueto shows up with the key to Black Lotus' cell. Suddenly, Black Lotus chokes out her trainer, putting him out. Pleased with what he sees, Dario finally releases her from the cell. She refuses to leave with him, since she "got what she wanted". Black Ltous asks Dario what is he going to do about his "brother". He uses the key to unlock Matanza's cell...

Storm takes the walking stick out of his hands and slaps Khoya, saying he made him. Khoya gets angry, and Storm asks if he wants to hit him and "go back to that crappy country." As Storm turns his back and mocks the crowd, Khoya rips his shirt and immediately turns on Storm as soon as Storm turns back towards him. Bayley beats Charlotte after a Belly-to-Bayley from the top rope.

Michael Cole interviewed Kevin Owens earlier this week. Owens wants the NXT back, not only because of the memento of what he did to Sami Zayn, but because it's more money in his pocket and he can't stand walking down the entrance ramp without it. He also questions William Regal's motives, thinking Regal will screw him over at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn. He proposes a ladder match in case Regal doesn't have a crooked referee screw him out of the NXT Championship. When Cole asks Owens if he can beat Finn Balor, Owens just removes the microphone and leaves.

As for the ladder match proposal, Finn shakes it off and says that Brooklyn will prove that Tokyo was not a fluke, and he plans to beat Owens again.

Gettin' RAW - Monday Night RAW recap for August 3, 2015

The show starts with a tribute to "Rowdy" Roddy Piper. Everyone wears a black "Hot Rod" shirt as everyone stands at the ramp as the ring bell tolls ten times. WWE then pays tribute to Piper via video package.

Seth Rollins shows up. He says that Seth Rollins is the only man who can slow him down, and says that he is too sympathetic for his own good, citing when he broke Cena's nose last week as a perfect example of that. He says he will never lose a match in the fashion that he lost against Cena last week ever again. He then makes a proposition to Cena: they go at it again with both titles on the line at SummerSlam. He then brags about this being the site of himself winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship as well as John Cena's first ever United States Open Challenge, and decides to make an open challenge for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship...right now.

Seth Rollins tells Jojo his World Heavyweight Championship open challenge is legit, with only two caveats decided by Triple H and Stephanie McMahon: his opponent must be under 6 feet tall and under 200 pounds. So Jojo asks if his opponent is El Torito, and Rollins jokingly says yes. El Torito's music hits, but Torito does not appear. Instead, Rollins' opponent is none other than Neville.

Seth Rollins narrowly retains the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Neville.

The Prime Time Players (Darren Young and Titus O'Neil) guest on commentary for the next match.

The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Big E) and The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor) beat Los Matadores (Fernando and Diego) and The Lucha Dragons (Sin Cara and Kalisto).

Charlotte and Becky Lynch beat The Bella Twins (Brie and Nikki Bella) after Nikki Bella submits to Charlotte's Figure Eight. After the match, Team BAD (Naomi, Tamina, Sasha Banks) are unimpressed with Charlotte and Becky's victory, and Naomi challenges Paige to a match before mocking UFC fighter Ronda Rousey.

It's Miz TV time. The Miz calls his show the second-most must-watch show tonight in respect for "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, whom he says that without Piper's Pit, there would be no talk segments like Miz TV and others throughout the years. Miz tells Ryback to vacate the WWE Intercontinental Championship and says it should go to him if Ryback can't fight for it. He then introduces Kevin Owens, who tells Miz he's a big fan of his. As for Cesaro, Owens thinks he's jealous of him, then Cesaro shows up as if on cue. Cesaro says he's just here for a front row seat to hear what "Walk Owens Walk" has to say. Owens says Cesaro is jealous of him as he has succeeded where Cesaro has failed, and says Cesaro will never match up to him. Cesaro says he's not jealous; instead, he's ashamed and embarassed of him for being such a coward. Owens responds by saying he's done more in WWE in three months than Cesaro has in three years, and if he wants to go, let's go. Miz gets excited, and both Owens and Cesaro tell him to shut up. Owens then says that tonight isn't the night for this, and Cesaro responds by telling Owens to "Walk Owens Walk." Owens rushes back in and pushes Miz into Cesaro, but Cesaro almost gets the Cesaro Swing in before Owens breaks away and retreats.

Rusev beats Mark Henry. After the match, Rusev kicks Mark Henry in the face yet again.

Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper are onscreen. They plan to take the fight to Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose tonight. Sheamus shows up to send a message to Randy Orton.

King Barrett beats Zack Ryder.

Mark Henry and The Prime Time Players (Darren Young and Titus O'Neil) take on The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) this Thursday on SmackDown!

Paul Heyman is here. He says that Undertaker has picked this fight with Brock Lesnar due to his inability to beat Lesnar. He says that 'Taker cannot live with himself, having never beaten Lesnar, before introducing Lesnar himself. Lesnar shows up, takes some steel steps, tosses them into the ring and then places them in the center of the ring, where he stands on them. Heyman puts Lesnar on a pedestal before stating that Lesnar will destroy The Undertaker at SummerSlam to the point that he'll need last rites instead of an ambulance.

Paige beats Naomi with the PTO.

Stephen Amell is heading to Raw next week after Stardust says that if Neville won't be hero...who will? Amell and Stardust have been in a Twitter war, and after Neville refuses to "be Stardust's hero," Amell tweets "You asked for it...see you next week."

We revisit the tribute to "Rowdy" Roddy Piper.
