Making an iMPACT! - Impact Wrestling recap for February 2, 2016

Earlier today, Ethan Carter III tells cameraman to meet him at an unspecified place at 4 PM for an interview.

Matt Hardy, Reby Sky and Tyrus appear to start the show. Matt says we won't get Jeff Hardy tonight, because Jeff made a big mistake last week. Reby says it didn't have to be this way, and believes that Jeff is just jealous that Matt won the World Heavyweight title. As Matt Hardy says that last week's actions were good for business for the Matt Hardy brand, Eric Young and Bram show up. EY takes pride in bringing immense pain to both Bobby Roode and Jeff Hardy, and praises Matt as world champ, but says the title goes through him. Kurt Angle shows up and says he's talked to TNA official concerning his next farewell tour match...and it's him vs Matt for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. A livid Matt Hardy tells Kurt Angle he will end his career if he keeps this up, but Angle says he can whup everyone in the ring right now if he has to. Suddenly, Beer Money ("The Cowboy" James Storm and Bobby Roode) show up, and they're in the mood for a fight, and declare that they will give a beatdown to Eric Young and Bram. This starts a brawl in which Crazzy Steve and Abyss show up in order to take advantage of the confusion, but The Wolves (Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards) follow them into the ring and fight them off. Bobby Roode then declares that not only will Angle become the new TNA World Heavyweight Champion, but that Beer Money and The Wolves will take on Eric Young, Bram, Abyss and Crazzy Steve in a hardcore fight.

Drew Galloway says Feast or Fired was a big risk, but he now controls his own destiny. Tyrus shows up and tells him to set the briefcase down and walk away as it is a target on his chest. Drew tells him he has no plans of doing that, and Tyrus pretty much tells Drew that it's his funeral.

Lashley beats Aiden O'Shea despite the distraction provided by Raquel. After the match, Raquel heads into the ring and gets a microphone. She tells Lashley the same message as last time: she can bring him pain, or she can bring him pleasure.

Ethan Carter III says the world will hear it all tonight...

Maria Kanellis shows up and says that women's wrestling needs a leader to point it in the right direction. She decrees that the Knockouts Division is broken. Gail Kim shows up, and says she respect Maria, but Maria fancies herself a businesswoman and says she can make Gail mainstream. Gail Kim says she doesn't need her help, and to put her boots on if she wants to make but Maria calls her "part of the problem" and says that someone like Gail should be working for her. Gail wants none of this, and wants to fight her right now. Maria retreats.

Beer Money ("The Cowboy" James Storm and Bobby Roode) and The Wolves (Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards) talk backstage. They almost come to blows over Beer Money's tag team title shot, but Roode reminds everyone to concentrate on tonight.

Eric Young, Bram and The Decay (Crazzy Steve and Abyss) beat The Wolves (Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards) and Beer Money ("The Cowboy" James Storm and Bobby Roode) in a 4-on-4 "hardcore war."

Drew Galloway congratulates Kurt Angle on their match, and wishes him luck in his match tonight.

Drew Galloway vs. Tyrus ends when the lights go out and Maria Kanellis shows up to tell Galloway his miracle begins now. When the lights come back on, "The Miracle" Michael Bennett hits Galloway with his own Feast or Fired briefcase. He tells Galloway that he is the miracle TNA is and not Galloway.

Kurt Angle says he's had the time of his life in TNA. Lashley wishes him luck tonight.

Gregory Shane Helms shows up, but he is not dressed for the ring. He then tells Tigre Uno, who is already in the ring, that the match isn't against him, but against someone he has mentored: Trevor Lee.

Trevor Lee beats Tigre Uno to win the TNA X Division Championship!

The now-once-defeated Ethan Carter III says he suffered the worst beating of his life two weeks ago. He congratulates Matt Hardy for winning the World title from him, but mentions that he didn't do it alone and that he kept getting back up. EC3 then declares he will be taking a plan for the UK and that he is coming for Matt Hardy and the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.

Matt Hardy retains the TNA World Heavyweight Championship against Kurt Angle with help from Reby Sky and Tyrus.

Gettin' RAW - Monday Night RAW Recap for February 2, 2015

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon show up. They talk about Super Bowl 49 and brag about how the New England Patriots won, they mention Kane and Big Show's retaliation against Roman Reigns before turning to The Rock's appearance in the Royal Rumble match, saying that The Rock interfered and affected the Royal Rumble match much like Sting affected the Survivor Series match a few months back. Triple H says that stuff like this has caused him to call out Sting so he can resolve this problem. Stephanie McMahon and Triple H then decide to nitpick Roman Reigns' Royal Rumble win when Reigns shows up and blatantly shows his opposition to this. Stephanie has to separate Triple H and Roman Reigns, and as Stephanie tries to nitpick Roman Reigns' win, Daniel Bryan shows up and demands a World Heavyweight title shot on the grounds that he was stripped of it. Triple H doesn't want to give it to him, on the grounds that he put himself in the Royal Rumble match. Seth Rollins shows up...

Seth Rollins tells Daniel Bryan that Brock Lesnar would eat him alive before nitpicking Roman Reigns' Royal Rumble win. Triple H and Stephanie McMahon decide to make a match: Daniel Bryan vs. Seth Rollins, with the winner facing Roman Reigns. Whoever wins between Reigns and the winner of that match faces Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 31. D-Bry tells Roman he wants to win that match and fight him at WrestleMania, and Rollins tells Roman he's a coward if he doesn't agree with this idea. Roman does just that, and this Road to WrestleMania is on. Triple H then tells Roman not to go anywhere, as he has to face Big Show...next.

Big Show defeated Roman Reigns, much thanks to the interference of Seth Rollins and J&J Security (Joey Mercury & Jamie Noble). Triple H and Stephanie McMahon then make fun of Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan, and hope that Seth Rollins beats Daniel Bryan tonight. Triple H then says he plans to manipulate "Stone Cold" Steve Austin on his podcast - which airs on the WWE Network immediately after Raw goes off the air - with fabricated answers.

Curtis Axel shows up. He claims that he was never eliminated from the Royal Rumble match, and not only does he want justice, he wants a shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania 31. Dean Ambrose shows up, and attacks Axel and tosses him over the top rope. Ambrose grabs the mic and talks about his visit to the WWE Headquarters, and checking out the pictures of WWE Legends on the walls. He looks to have a picture of himself on the wall, and he plans to do so by defeating Bad News Barrett for his Intercontinental Championship.  Curtis Axel rushes back into the ring and attacks Ambrose, but Ambrose fights back and puts Axel away with Dirty Deeds.

WWE celebrates Black History Month, honoring "The Big Cat" Ernie Ladd.

The Ascension defeated Gold & Stardust (Goldust & Stardust). After the match, Gold & Stardust argue, but this time, its Stardust who walks out on his brother.

Goldust and Stardust argue backstage.

John Cena shows up, After shilling the Stone Cold Podcast that airs on the WWE Network immediately after Raw goes off the air and talks about NXT and whatnot, he says he'll never give up, even with Triple H's vision of WWE is "a WWE without John Cena." He says will never give up against Rusev either, and says that their match will be for the WWE United States Championship. He then mentions his win from two weeks ago (along with video footage of it), the re-hiring of Dolph Ziggler, Ryback and Erick Rowan that resulted from that win and the assistance from Sting, whom he thanks for making it happen. Ryback, Ziggler and Rowan show up. Stephanie McMahon appears on the TitanTron, however, and spoils the celebration by making some matches: Ziggler vs. Bray Wyatt, Rowan vs. Rusev, and Ryback vs. Luke Harper. Ryback vs. Harper is next. Before the match, Stephanie tells Ryback he'll be fed until he chokes and gags and wishes he didn't return to the WWE.

Ryback defeated Luke Harper.

Cesaro defeated Jimmy Uso.

Mizdow is getting food for The Miz. When a fan asks for Mizdow's autograph, The Miz goes nuts and tells him to stop with the "delusions of grandeur." Miz then deems Mizdow to be the worst stunt-double ever, fires him, then makes him his personal assistant.

Cena and Rowan talk in the locker room. Rowan was once treated like an animal, but no more. Rowan thanks Cena, who says that he should not been fired in the first place.Rowan says that the firing made him a changed man. Cena tells him to not take Rusev too lightly tonight.

Bray Wyatt defeated Dolph Ziggler with the Sister Abigail.

Paige defeated Alicia Fox. Alicia Fox attacks Paige after the match, and holds her down long enough for The Bella Twins (Nikki & Brie) to spray Paige with tanning spray.

The Miz guests stars on tomorrow night's premiere of Sirens on USA Network.

Sin Cara defeated The Miz, thanks to Miz being distracted by his former stunt-double, now assistant, Mizdow.

Bray Wyatt calls himself the new face of fear in yet another cryptic warning.

The scheduled match between Rusev and Erick Rowan never started due to Rusev attacking Rowan and putting him in the Accolade. Lana diverges our attention to a video package, which depicts Rusev's path of destruction for the past year. After the video package, they called for the Russian flag to come down, but it got hung!

This Thursday on SmackDown: The Miz hosts Miz TV. The special guests are Roman Reigns and his opponent at Fast Lane, which will be determined in the next match.

Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns talk in the locker room. They both agree that Seth Rollins will get what's coming to him, but Bryan says he's going to face Reigns at Fast Lane. Reigns doesn't care who he faces, because he's still going to WrestleMania 31.

Daniel Bryan defeated Seth Rollins to earn the right to face Roman Reigns at Fast Lane, thanks to an assistance by Roman himself. Backstage, Triple H is watching the match. Renee Young tries to get a few words with him, but Triple H would rather say his reaction on Stone Cold Steve Austin's podcast. In the ring, Michael Cole interviews Daniel Bryan. D-Bry says that he will beat Roman Reigns at Fast Lane and go on to headline Wrestlemania 31.

Here are the top 10 moments from tonight's show!
