Carmella beats Peyton Royce by submission.

We see footage from last Saturday's house show in Portland, Oregon, which ended in a brawl between Finn Balor and Samoa Joe that involved most of the locker room. Generation NXT - NXT recap for February 10th, 2016

Baron Corbin beats Johnny Gargano.

Sami Zayn is initially disappointed with William Regal's decision, but says he can't fault him for it as he did not expect the road back to being NXT Champion to be easy. Next week is his first match with Joe, and he knows it's going to get nasty.

The Hype Bros (Zack Ryder and Mojo Rawley) beat Corey Hollis and John Skyler.

Bayley and Carmella are interviewed backstage. Bayley says that retaining the Women's title is the hardest point, and says she won't let up because Carmella isn't her friend. Nevertheless, "may the best woman win."

Alexa Bliss beats Cameron.

Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady remind Dash & Dawson (Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson) that they're not done with them, and that they're taking the tag team gold. They're the NXT tag team of 2015, and they plan to do that again for 2016. American Alpha (Jason Jordan and Chad Gable) show up and say that 2016 is their year, however. Enzo and Big Cass don't seem to agree. Nevertheless, both teams are in eight-man tag team action against Dash & Dawson and Blake & Murphy...but both teams aren't in the mood to work together.

Jason Jordan and Chad Gable are disappointed that they weren't nominated for NXT Tag Team of the Year, even though they beat nominees Blake and Murphy in London. When Chad Gable says that he and JJ are "the alpha males of NXT," JJ has an idea. He runs with that statement and the fact that Chad Gable represented the USA in the 2012 Olympics, and comes up with their new tag team name: American Alpha.

Apollo Crews beats Tye Dillinger. After the match, Crews says he has unfinished business from a few months ago: a non-title match with Finn Balor, which he does not want to win by disqualification a second time around.

Blake and Murphy make light of American Alpha's (Jason Jordan and Chad Gable) new name. Alexa Bliss tells them that they humiliated her in London, then says she plans to lead by example tonight by teaming with Emma to beat Bayley and Charlotte tonight.

Carmella is ecstatic to have a Divas Championship match against her friend Bayley, but tonight they team up to face Emma and Alexa Bliss. Eva Marie, still in Paris, says her time in Paris is just about up and that she's returning to NXT soon.

Nia Jax beats Kay Lee Ray.

Dash and Dawson (Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson) ambush Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady before they can even have a match, and shatter Big Cass' knee.

Wrestler of the Day - 10/8: Adam Cole!

Playing catch up today. Grrr....

Today’s Wrestler of the Day is none other than Adam Cole BAY BAY! Yes, I had to do that.

In just seven years (and yes, that’s a short amount of time in my opinion), Adam Cole has become one of the top performers on the American independent circuit and without a doubt one of the best wrestlers on the planet today. Cole’s time in Ring of Honor has definitely put him on the map, from teaming with Kyle O’Reilly as Future Shock to winning his first world title, the ROH World Championship that is. Cole is also a former PWG World Champion, and the longest reigning champion in the title’s history. Some of his greatest work comes in the form of great matches with the likes of A.J. Styles, Jay Briscoe, Shinsuke Nakamura and even his former tag team partner Kyle O’Reilly to name a few. Now a member of The Kingdom alongside, Maria Kanellis, Michael Bennett and Matt Taven, he has one goal in mind: to recapture the ROH World Championship. To be honest, I wouldn’t mind seeing him become the third two-time ROH World Champion. As I always say, only time will tell…

Here's an Adam Cole throwback for ya, from his tenure in CZW, where he faces off against Johnny Gargano and Kyle O'Reilly!

We see Asuka at a punching bag.

Dana Brooke and Emma beat Billie Kay and Peyton Royce.

Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson show up and call them out for saying that they won't be able to beat them, either, as well as for losing the eight man tag match from a few weeks ago for their side, and both teams argue.

Tyler Breeze beats Tommaso Ciampa.

Rhyno and Baron Corbin say that the only people who can stop them...is them.

We take a special look at the events leading up to Sasha Banks vs. Bayley for the NXT Women's Championship at NXT TakeOver: Respect.

Generation NXT - NXT recap September 16, 2015

NXT starts with Tyler Breeze making his appearance, followed by Adam Rose telling the NXT Universe he's ready to take a nice, big steaming poop all over their party. Before the match can happen, however, Bull Demspey shows up and calls out Tyler Breeze, telling him he's going to make him wish the retaliatory beating he's about to get for attacking him last week was an accident, unlike the on-purpose beating Breeze gave him. Breeze yells at Bull for interrupting the match, but Bull lays on the top rope Tyler Breeze-style. Breeze calls costing him the Tyler Breeze Tag Team Classic as well as the day Bull was born "accidents." Bull asks Adam Rose to give him the ring, but Adam refuses, as he plans to poop all over Breeze's party for what he did to him months ago. Rose fights with Bull, but Bull tosses him out of the ring. Breeze brawls with Bull, too, but Breeze ends up retreating, much to Bull's chagrin.

Tyler Breeze accepts Bull Dempsey's challenge for a match.

Tye Dillinger beats Martin Stone.

Rhyno and Baron Corbin aren't worried about an upset victory against them. They're more worried about the damange they're going to do to Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa.

Well-known Japanese women's wrestling star Kana - now going by the name Asuka - comes to NXT next week!

Apollo Crews beats Solomon Crowe.

Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa think their chances in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic are pretty good, and plan to crush Rhyno and Baron Corbin to make it to the next round.

Sasha Banks has arrived at Full Sail University...

We recap the progress of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic so far. The Hype Bros (Zack Ryder and Mojo Rawley) beat Alexander Wolfe and Noah Kekoa to advance, while The Vaudevillians (Aiden English and Simon Gotch) beat Blake and Murphy to continue. The Vaudevillians (Aiden English and Simon Gotch) plan to win the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic with the tag titles, but Alexa Bliss shows up with Blake and Murphy, announcing they are exercising their rematch clause next week.

Bull Dempsey vs. Tyler Breeze is official for next week.

Bayley appears on NXT for the first time since the winning the NXT Women's title. She parades through the NXT Universe with the championship and even gets 10-year-old front-row Bayley superfan Izzy a minute in the ring.

Bayley beats Sarah Dobson in her first NXT match since winning the NXT Women's Championship. After the match, Bayley gets the microphone but Sasha Banks shows up before she has much of a chance to speak. Banks congratulates Bayley, saying that ever since Brooklyn, all she's heard about is her and Bayley stealing the show, how it was match of the year and how it was the greatest women's wrestling match the company has ever seen, which is great for everyone...except for her. She's here to win titles and prove herself the best female wrestler in the company. She admits that Bayley earned her respect, and that Bayley was better than her for three seconds. Bayley knows that Banks wants to exercise her rematch clause, and Bayley says the rematch is on. Banks she wants to make a point: she wants to beat Bayley again...and again...and again. William Regal shows up and makes the championship rematch official for NXT TakeOver on October 7th, and for the first time in NXT history, their match will be the main event. That's not all, however, as for the first time in NXT history, two women will face each other in an Iron Man Match. Bayley and Sasha Banks shake hands after the announcement.

She's ticked off that Bayley is the new NXT Women's Champion and not her, and feels she's not being taken seriously enough...and that in order to be taken seriously, she has to become champion. She's turned down an invitation to the Arnold Classic in Spain to prove she's a dominant force in NXT.
