WWE Monday Night RAW Results for July 16th, 2013-The Return of "Mr. Money Nights"

We kick off with a welcome segment from RAW General Manage, Brad Maddox. He sets up an rematch between World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio vs Dolph Ziggler. John Cena interrupts Maddox, goes on about how he's new as the GM and whatnot. Then, Maddox gave Cena the chance to choose his opponent for Summerslam. Cena's interrupted by Randy Orton, RAW's MITB Contract holder. He states that John Cena won't be the WWE Champion by Summerslam. He said that he won't cash in on the same night, but warns Cena to watch his back. Then Fandango comes out and says that he would be WWE Champion IF John Cena were to choose him. Randy didn't take too kindly being interrupted, so he and Fandango got into it and Brad Maddox set up a match between those two on the spot!

Randy Orton def Fandango
I have to say, Fandango was really impressive in this one. But in the end, Randy Orton defeated Fandango with his patented "RKO" maneuver for the win.

Dolph Ziggler calls it quits with A.J. Lee after what conspired on Sunday!

WHC Alberto Del Rio def Dolph Ziggler
Brad Maddox sets up a match between RVD and Y2J!

Once again, A.J. Lee proves to be the wild card of the match, ringing the bell when the referee obviously didn't make a call for it. Del Rio takes full advantage of it, pinning Ziggler for the win.

After the match, A.J. Lee completely snaps at Dolph Ziggler,  slapping him until Big E. Langston comes and finishes it off for him, hitting his Jumping Cutter move. Folks, this is officially the end of Team Zigglee.

Mark Henry comes out to state that John Cena should choose him for Summerslam, despite the fact that he lost the night before. Then, the Hounds of Justice known as The Shield come out and attack Henry and perform their trademark triple powerbomb on him.

The Wyatt Family once again make their prescene felt when they attacked R-Truth. R-Truth is not the truth that they seek. Who's next to follow the buzzards?

The Usos def The Real Americans
Who was the team to face the new team of the Real Americans? The Primetime Players? Tons of Funk? The Usos? The winners are.... THE USOS!

The Usos defeated the newly made team in a relatively short match.

Christian def Damien Sandow
Christian defeats Damien Sandow after he countered his "Elbow of Distain". Cody Rhodes then comes out  to get revenge on Sandow double-crossing him on Sunday.

Naomi def Brie Bella
Naomi defeats Brie Bella via Diving Crossbody.

Paul Heyman finally comes clean about why he did what  he did to Punk at Money In The Bank. He says that the reason that he double-crossed him is because Punk thought that he was better than him and how that he, rather than Punk, was the Best in the World. Then, he talks about his kids and how they ask him about Punk not obeying everything he says. His claim is that Punk can't beat Brock Lesnar. He then gets down on his knees and says "IT'S CLOBBERING TIME!" and "The Beast" unleashes pain on Punk after Heyman blindsides him.

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon appear backstage concerned about John Cena being able to choose his own opponent for Summerslam, mostly because of the reaction that Mr. McMahon would show. Either way, he's impressed so far.

RVD def Chris Jericho
RVD defeats Jericho in one of the most ultra-competitive matches in RAW history. RVD continues his momentum, defeating Jericho via his 5 Star Frogsplash, despite some of the stitches coming out of his head.

Cena's Choice....
I completely marked out for this segement. Why? Because FINALLY Daniel Bryan gets his shot at the WWe Championship at Summerslam. If there's anyone on the roster that's over with the fans, it's him. You could tell that the fans wanted him to be in the match, because there were "YES!" chants spreading across the arena.
