Underground Sound - Lucha Underground recap for February 24, 2016

We look back on the history between Pentagon, Jr. and his master, El Vampiro from last season. Vampiro tells Pentagon not to let anything get in his way...not even "her."

"The Dragonslayer" Jack Evans takes the microphone from ring announcer Melissa Santos and announces his own ring entrance, much to the displeasure of the people in the temple. He also says that he'll make Drago "his little bitch" if he shows up again.

"The Dragonslayer" Jack Evans beats "The Darewolf" PJ Black after Drago, who shows up to distract Evans with some nunchaku, accidentally spits green mist into PJ Black's face. Black picks up the nunchaku as Drago slinks away, looks at them, then throws them down in digust.

Famous B is on a TV commercial, telling people to call the number on the screen so he can make them famous.

King Cuerno beats Killshot, the continues to attack him after the match. Fenix shows up and stops him from hitting Killshot with the same package piledriver that he took Gift of the Gods Championship from him with.

Chavo Guerrero, Jr. and The Crew (Cortez Castro and Mr. Cisco) beat Texano in a gauntlet match after Castro holds down Texano's feet with the latter's bullrope as Chavo gets the pinfall. After the match, they run off with the bullrope when Texano chases after them.

As Matanza destroys more victims, Black Lotus and Dario Cueto talk. Cueto talks about how his brother Matanza saved his life when their mother physically abused them. Cueto carries a figurine of a red bull, which Matanza used to hit their mother in the back of the head repeatedly, putting an end to the beatings. It was on that day that Cueto learned to love violence.

Pentagon Jr. confronts Catrina, saying Prince Puma humiliated him and must be taught a lesson. Catrina tells him to go and teach him on. Pentagon Jr. wants Prince Puma in the ring again, but Catrina is reluctant after Pentagon Jr. broke Mil Muertes' arm. The two fight, and Pentagon Jr. is close to breaking Catrina's arm when the lights go on and off and Catrina teleports away. She gives him the match for next week, but tells him that putting his hands on her was the biggest mistake he ever made.

Johnny Mundo beats Cage after using a lead pipe to hit Cage in the head behind the ref's back, thanks to AAA women's wrestler Taya Valkyrie, who supplies Mundo with the weapon and distracts the ref. They both attack Cage after the match

King Cuerno enters Catrina's office. He wants a shot at Mil Muertes and the Lucha Underground Championship next week, saying that he is tired of being hunted. Catrina tells him they had a deal, however, and says that he's already booked for a match next week against Fenix. This time, not only will the Gift of the Gods Championship be on the line, but it will also be a ladder match, after telling him that Fenix can fly and that she hopes King Cuerno can, too.

Underground Sound - Lucha Underground recap for July 22, 2015

Dario Cueto talks with Big Ryck in his office, and tells him he had big plans in the temple until he lost focus. Dario now wants him back in the spotlight, and he wants him to get back in there with one of the Aztec Medallions, which he offers him. Cueto asks him if he wants money or power. Big Ryck tells him "Why choose when I can have both?" Not surprisingly, he gets both.

Texano beats Johnny Mundo by disqualification after interference by The Crew (Mr. Cisco and Cortex Castro). Alberto El Patron shows up and destroys everyone, then Texano hits whoever is laying with the bullwhip. Alberto and Texano almost confront one another due to their past feud, but Alberto El Patron walks away.

Hernandez is in Dario Cueto's office. Cueto is making Ultima Lucha two weeks long and Hernandez vs. Drago will be a Believer's Backlash match, where the strap is held by one of the fan and whoever finds the person who has it gets to use it.

The Mack quickly beats Cage. After the match, Cage and Mack brawl, and security officials also get beat up and tossed around as the fight almost spills into the back. Dario Cueto shows up and makes a Falls Count Anywhere between them with weapons around the ring as he announces that Ultima Lucha starts a week early. He also prepares to announce what the Aztec Medallions are for.

Dario Cueto tells everyone that the seven Aztec Medallions make up The Gift of the Gods: a championship belt that grants the holder a shot at the Lucha Underground Championship whenever they want, with a catch: you have to give one week's notice in order for the match to be promoted. Once the title is cashed in, the Aztec Medallions are removed and re-distributed, and the fight for power begins again. Cueto sets up a seven-way match between all those who have earned Aztec Medallions, whom he calls to the ring. Jack Evans, Aerostar, King Cuerno, Sexy Star, Bengala and Big Ryck (who was given an Aztec Medallion by Cueto) show up. They place their medallions into the belt to secure their spot in the match for the title, but there is one problem: Mil Muertes destroyed Fenix. Cueto puts Fenix's medallion back up for grabs, when Fenix suddenly shows up. He puts Fenix in a battle royal for the Aztec Medallion he earned...and that battle royal is next

Fenix wins a battle royal to regain the Aztec Medallion he initially earned before being taken down by Mil Muertes.

Prince Puma, now in a black mask, shows up to speak, but before he can do that, Mil Muertes and Catrina appear. Puma drops the microphone and lays down the belt, and tells Mil Muertes to come and get it. As he does, The Disciples of Death (Barrio Negro, El Siniestro de la Muerte and Terce) show up to attack Puma, but Puma strikes back and lays them all out to send a message to Mil Muertes. Mil Muertes then gets in the ring and the two of them brawl, but Prince Puma easily overpowers Mil Muertes.

Here are the highlights for tonight's show!
