Generation NXT - NXT recap for January 27, 2016

American Alpha (Jason Jordan and Chad Gable) beat Blake and Murphy.

Next week, Emma faces Carmella. Dana Brooke and Emma downplay Carmella's skills, saying she did nothing last week and won't do anything next week.

We take a look at Asuka's road through NXT thus far.

Nia Jax destroys Liv Morgan.

Carmella has heard everything Dana Brooke and Emma has said about her, and plans to beat Emma all by herself. As for Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady, they have unfinished business with Dash & Dawson (Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson), and Enzo is hungrier than ever for the NXT Tag Team Championships.

Alex Riley comes back from knee surgery with a vengeance to beat Bull Dempsey.

"The Drifter" Elias Samson plays some guitar before the next match.

Backstage, Alex Riley says that he's come back with a vengeance without much notice...and it seems he's in a mood to take what he wants...

"The Drifter" Elias Samson beats John Skyler.

The Hype Bros (Zack Ryder and Mojo Rawley) talk about The Vaudevillains, whom they will be in a match with next week. Also, Mojo watches Zack sleep.

The triple threat match between Baron Corbin, Samoa Joe and Sami Zayn ends when Baron Corbin taps to both Sami Zayn's Sharpshooter and Samoa Joe's crossface, the latter of which was applied late and behind Zayn's back. The referee doesn't know who to proclaim the winner, and William Regal shows up. He says he will have to review the finish of the match before he can come to a decision, much to the chagrin of Samoa Joe.

Generation NXT - NXT recap for April 29, 2015

Kevin Owens shows up, and calls out Sami Zayn after what happened last week. Instead, he gets NXT General Manager William Regal. Regal tells Owens not to use NXT to further his agenda, but Owens tells Regal to go away. Zayn finally shows up, and Regal makes it official: Kevin Owens defends the NXT Championship against Sami Zayn at the next NXT: TakeOver on May 20th. Owens refuses to defend the title as Zayn has "done nothing to deserve a title shot," but Zayn reminds him of last week and uses the same tactics Owens used the last time around to make it a title match...and it works.

Blake and Murphy make their move on Carmella as soon as Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady walk out of the room, but Carmella tells them to buzz off. Alexa Bliss shows up and tells Carmella to handle herself with more class. Carmella swats her away. Blake and Murphy, seeing this take place, go up to Alexa and ask her if she's all right. Alexa says she's fine.

As Sami Zayn is signing the contract for his match on May 20th, Alex Riley shows up and asks William Regal for another opportunity against Kevin Owens. Regal refuses, and Zayn warns him about Owens, much to A-Ry's irritation. As A-Ry and Regal argue, Zayn volunteers to take him on tonight. Riley tells Regal that if he wins, he wants Owens.

Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady beat Blake and Murphy.

Becky Lynch says she's going to win the NXT Women's Championship and turn NXT into N-Beck's-T.

Emma plays psychological warfare with Bayley by stealing her headbands before her match with Dana Brooke.

Dana Brooke beats Bayley thanks to the distraction from Emma.

William Regal announces that on May 20th there will be a Triple Threat Match between Hideo Itami, Tyler Breeze and Finn Balor to determine a new #1 contender for the NXT Championship.

Hideo Itami beats Adam Rose.

Becky Lynch beats Sarah Dobson (better known as Crazy Mary Dobson) by submission.

Rhyno plans to make Baron Corbin feel pain soon...

Kevin Owens guests on commentary for the next match.

Alex Riley vs. Sami Zayn ends with Kevin Owens attacking Sami Zayn and power bombing Riley onto the apron.

Finn Balor beats Tye Dillinger. After the match, Tyler Breeze shows up on the TitanTron and isn't overly impressed, telling Finn it's time to meet someone who's really dominating in NXT.

Dana Brooke calls her debut last week the rebirth of the NXT Women's Division.

Kevin Owens admits that Alex Riley put up a pretty good fight last time, but says that tonight, he's going 2-0.

Becky Lynch beats Bayley and Charlotte in a Triple Threat as she covers Bayley, who is locked in a Figure Eight Leg Lock by Charlotte.

Hideo Itami beats CJ Parker.

Rhyno beats a random guy.

Blake and Murphy sing to Carmella until Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady show up. Enzo and Big Cass then notice Carmella is wearing jewelry.

Kevin Owens beats Alex Riley. After the match, Kevin Owens almost attacks Alex Riley again but Sami Zayn makes the save and both Zayn and Owens go at it.

Generation NXT - NXT recap for March 18th, 2015

For the first time since NXT changed from a reality show from a developmental brand, NXT airs in Columbus, Ohio at the LC Pavilion as part of the 2015 Arnold Sports Festival instead of Full Sail University at Winter Park, Florida.

Tyler Breeze beats Kalisto.

The NXT Superstars and Divas take time to head to the local children's hospital, meet and greet with the fans, and Triple H is inducted into the International Sports Hall of Fame. Even Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair and Jimmy Hart get in on the fun!

Finn Balor tells Alex Riley that he'll be watching him in action against Kevin Owens tonight, and warns him not to overlook Owens during his match with him.

Wesley Blake beats Colin Cassady after Cassady hits Buddy Murphy off the apron with a big boot. Blake then pushes Big Cass into Carmella, causing her to fall off the apron and hurt her leg.

We get our first look on new Women's division addition Dana Brooke, who is coming soon to NXT.

Alexa Bliss beats Sasha Banks by count-out.

Kevin Owens plans to make Alex Riley regret ever leaving the commentary table tonight. As for Finn Balor, Owens can't wait until next week to beat him up.

Alexa Bliss is confronted by Sasha Banks...until William Regal intervenes and makes a Women's title match between the two of them and helps Bliss back to the back.

Kevin Owens utterly destroys Alex Riley. After the match, Owens is about to beat Riley up again until Finn Balor shows up and brawls with Owens, causing Owens to retreat.

Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady beat The Lucha Dragons (Sin Cara and Kalisto) after a big assist from Big Cass to become the #1 contenders for the NXT Tag Team Championships.

Alexa Bliss beats Carmella in her first match since returning from injury.

Alex Riley has waited two years to get back in the ring...and he's hungry for a win tonight against CJ Parker on the road to Kevin Owens.

NXT broadcasts next week from Columbus, Ohio at the Arnold Sports Festival 2015.

Tyler Breeze challenges Hideo Itami to a match later tonight.

Alex Riley beats CJ Parker. After the match, Kevin Owens shows up and insults Riley and the fact that he ended his commentary career to get back in the ring, saying he'll end his in-ring career before ending the rise of Finn Balor.

Tyler Breeze beats Hideo Itami in a rematch from NXT TakeOver: Rival.
