Gettin' RAW - Monday Night RAW recap for June 8, 2015

John Cena starts the show with a United States Championship open challenge after getting everyone up to speed with Money in the Bank. Kevin Owens shows up, and says Cena is delusional if he thinks he'll beat him this Sunday, and decides to make it an NXT Championship open challenge. Cena likes the idea of both titles being defended at the same time and accepts the challenge, but Owens says he's not fighting tonight. Cena insists he take the challenge, and Owens comes up with a bright idea: let another person come out from the back and let them choose their challenge. Neville answers, and while he'd like to face Cena again, he focuses on Owens, saying he's not worthy of the NXT title due to his actions as of late and picks him and the NXT title.

John Cena guests on commentary for the next match.

Kevin Owens retains the NXT Championship against Neville. After the match, John Cena confronts Owens in the ring, but Owens walks away.

The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) shows up afterwards, and say that Kofi will climb his way to victory Sheamus shows up, saying he'll win too. Noble goes off, saying Rollins wouldn't last a minute without them. Rollins picks Mercury and Noble as his opponents for tonight, then slaps Noble only to be slapped back. Mercury stops a brawl, telling Rollins that they're kicking his ass tonight in his first spoken words in weeks.

Dolph Ziggler comforts Lana backstage.

It's time for Miz TV, and tonight's guests are Ryback and Big Show. Ryback shows up as Miz demands another shot at the Intercontinental Championship and says he was robbed, and Ryback counters by saying he robbed of a chance of Meat Hooking his face off, and that Big Show did him a favor as he would have taken years off of his career. Big Show appears, and says Miz is the one tag team partner he hated immediately. Ryback tells Big Show straight up that if he wants the Intercontinental Championship, he can fight him for it. Big Show says he'll beat him Sunday, and Show tells Miz to shut up when he tries to speak. Miz attacks Show from behind only to get hurt, and Ryback and Big Show fight each other until Ryback hits Shell Shocked on Show. Ryback then tears the Miz TV set apart.
