Gettin' RAW - Monday Night RAW recap for April 20, 2015

All segments ----> Prince Watercress! (Thanks, bud!)

Randy Orton shows up, as a steel cage hangs above the ring. The cage lowers once he gets inside. Randy then calls Seth Rollins a "stupid bastard" for thinking banning the RKO will make it easier for him to win, especially with the steel cage surrounding the two of them. Randy plans to give Rollins the beating of a lifetime. Rollins shows up, saying that so-called beating isn't going to happen, that Orton has anger problems, and that he's so much better inside and outside the ring. Orton responds by saying that as soon as he gets back to the back, he's going to RKO anyone he see backstage during the break, and that he'll eventually RKO Rollins before the end of the night.

Before his match with Dean Ambrose, Luke Harper says that Ambrose may not fear him now, but he will soon enough.

Dean Ambrose and Luke Harper brawl before their match can even start.

Seth Rollins and J&J Security (Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble) are backstage when they are nearly scared half to death by The Prime Time Players (Darren Young and Titus O'Neil) as they look over their shoulders for Randy Orton. Rollins chews out a backstage worker who thinks this is funny before running into Triple H. He trusts Triple H to do the right thing concerning Kane, but as for Randy Orton, he wants more security. Triple H tells him "it's only one guy." Rollins isn't too thrilled.

The New Day (Kofi Kingston & Big E.) beats The Lucha Dragons (Kalisto & Sin Cara) via countout when Xavier holds Sin Cara feets from under the ring. The New Day get a shot at the WWE Tag Team Championships at Extreme Rules but, suddenly, Randy Orton charges the ring and RKOs Kofi and Xavier. Big E., who was looking to take a shot at Orton, has second thoughts and retreats.

Fandango beats Curtis Axel.

Triple H shows up. He says that Seth Rollins will take the WWE into the future, but it is now time to find the next Seth Rollins. On June 23rd, Tough Enough returns, and anyone - anyone - can send in a 60-second video to WWE.com to prove they have what it takes. Only ten men and five women will win a slot on the show, and only one of those fifteen can become a WWE Superstar or Diva. Kane then shows up, stating that he's giving his two weeks' notice after Triple H says he is behind Seth Rollins. Triple H offers to handle this with him in the back like men, but Seth Rollins shows up and says "Let him quit. To hell with him." This starts some bickering between Kane and Rollins, with Kane calling Rollins out for acting as entitled as he does. Triple H stops the arguing, sides with Kane and makes him "Guardian of the Gate" in Rollins' Steel Cage match against Randy Orton at Extreme Rules. Rollins is ticked off.

Triple H catches Seth Rollins and Kane arguing again, and has to remind Kane that he's no longer fire and brimstone due to his Director of Operations duties. Kane feels otherwise and walks away. Triple H then tells Rollins to show a little respect and appreciate Kane's efforts, and puts him in the match against Dolph Ziggler that he should have had last week.

Nikki Bella guest on commentary for the next match.

Naomi beats Brie Bella.

Heath Slater tells Erick Rowan that he's taking John Cena's open challenge for the United States title at catering...then gets RKO'd through a table by Randy Orton.

Roman Reigns comes out, but he'd rather fight than talk and proceeds to call out Big Show. Instead of Big Show, however, he gets Bo Dallas, who now sports a beard and a goatee, who proceeds to verbally crap all over him and call him "Outback Jack in kevlar" and "The Tim Tebow of the WWE." He soon gets Superman Punched and Speared, and Reigns says that while Big Show chickened out tonight, he has no choice on Sunday...and that we can "Bolieeeeeeeve that."

Sheamus beats Zack Ryder after Dolph Ziggler saves Ryder. During the match, Sheamus is on the microphone the whole time and mocks both Ryder and the Albany, New York crowd.

John Cena shows up. He showed Rusev he means business and knows the WWE Universe cringes whenever he says the champ is here. He knows Rusev wants to destroy, hence why he chose the Russian Chains match stipulation at Extreme Rules. Cena, however, plans to put him back down again. He issues another open challenge for the WWE United States Championship. Kane answers.

John Cena retains the United States Championship against Kane.

Triple H glances at Kane as he heads away from the ring, as if to imply "I told you so."

Renee Young interviews The Miz, who verbally trashes Damien Mizdow. When Renee Young announces that Byron Saxton is standing by with John Cena, The Miz is ticked.

As Byron Saxton interviews John Cena, Cena is suddenly attacked from behind by Rusev, who has a chain in his hand and proceeds to put him in the Accolade with it until a referee pulls him off of Cena.

The Miz beats Damien Mizdow to retain the rights to the Miz brand after Summer Rae rakes Mizdow's eyes from outside of the ring. After the match, he gets a surprise RKO from Randy Orton.

Dean Ambrose and Luke Harper are now in a Chicago Street Fight at Extreme Rules.

We get another cryptic promo from Bray Wyatt. Who is he talking about?

Ryback beats Adam Rose. After the match, two Rosebuds, one dressed as a banana and another dressed as a hot dog, attack Ryback only to get Shell Shocked.

Renee Young mentions that J&J Security (Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble) joked about him with Seth Rollins on Twitter to Kane when she interviews him. Kane barges into Triple H's office and confronts Rollins, and Rollins apologizes to Kane for putting him through a whole bunch of crap, saying that it's embarassing when Kane keeps saying he helped him win the Money in the Bank contract. Rollins heads to the ring along with Mercury and Noble, and Randy Orton isn't too far behind.

Ryback takes on Rusev this Thursday on SmackDown.

Seth Rollins beats Dolph Ziggler when Ziggler is distracted by Sheamus. After the match, Rollins talks about how he'll become the man when he wins against Randy Orton on Sunday. Triple H shows up in mid-sentence to proclaim that Rollins will win Sunday, but Rollins takes the microphone and decides it's a good idea to tick off Kane yet again. Kane shows up to confront Rollins one more time, but J&J Security (Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble) and Triple H hold him back as the cage comes down around Rollins...only for Randy Orton to be in there with him. Rollins eventually gets an RKO at the end of the night, as promised, to end the show.
