Impact Wrestling Results for November 5th, 2014

Kurt Angle introduces the new TNA World Heavyweight Champion, Bobby Roode, into the ring to start the night off. He says that other wrestlers can only dream of this moment, and that pro wrestling is basically all that he has, before sharing the glory with Kurt Angle along with his family, friends and fans. After Roode thanks everyone, Lashley, MVP and Kenny King show up. MVP is incensed that the fans cheer Roode and not Lashley, and insists that Roode didn't deserve that title shot that ensured him the rematch. MVP challenges Roode to defend his newly-earned world title against him tonight, and Angle likes the look in MVP's eyes enough to like where this is going. Roode accepts the challenge.

Samoa Joe and Low Ki are confident and ready to take on The Hardys (Jeff and Matt Hardy) in the tag team tournament finals tonight.

The Hardys (Jeff and Matt Hardy) beat Low Ki and Samoa Joe to win the tag team tournament and become #1 contenders to the TNA World Tag Team Championships.

James Storm gives Davey Richards one week to decided whether or not to join the Redneck Revolution.

MVP took professional wrestling away from Bobby Roode when he suspended him earlier this year. Tonight, Roode won't let him take the world title.

Samuel Shaw and Brittany show up. Shaw says he turned his back on Gunner because he thought Gunner considered him nothing more than a crazy, creepy guy. Brittany says Gunner and Christy Hemme can't do the things that she can do for him. Gunner shows up and calls them both "creepy bastards" after mentioning how Samuel Shaw basically wanted to be him. This starts a brawl, and both men fight until Shaw hits Gunner in the nuts and applies the choke hold that he was known for before Gunner got him out of the funny farm months ago.

We get a sneak peek at Mahabali Shera, the newest signing to TNA.

MVP thanks Kurt Angle for the match backstage, then says that it's going to be all about him and not Angle after he takes the world title tonight.

Tommy Dreamer and Devon beat Magnus and Bram in a hardcore match.

Gail Kim is back, and she says that Havok had better be ready for her when she takes back the Knockouts title.

Rockstar Spud shows up. He knows he's done things he's not proud of in the past year, but he's got a bone to pick with Ethan Carter III, whom he calls a wanker and whose taste in suits he abhors. Jeremy Borash is surprised with his change of heart right now as much as his progress in the first British Boot Camp. Ethan Carter III and Tyrus shows up, and after verbally dumping on both Spud and JB, he implies that he made Spud and that he can break him, too. When he asks Spud for an apology, he doesn't get it, and EC3 and Tyrus tries to force it out of him. EC3 then grabs Borash after Borash tries to break this up and slaps him, then Spud goes after EC3. EC3 and Tyrus gang up on Spud until Eric Young shows up with a steel chair and runs EC3 and Tyrus out of the ring.

Havok destroys Gail Kim before they can have their match tonight.

After the commercial break, Gail Kim takes the microphone from Jeremy Borash and says their match will continue.

Despite a valiant effort by Gail Kim, Havok destroys her to retain the TNA Knockouts Championship.

Manik talks to Mahabali Shera...but why? Is it for the Redneck Revolution?

Lashley deserts MVP when MVP wants his support at ringside.

Bobby Roode retains the TNA World Heavyweight Championship against MVP. After the match, Lashley shows up and hits Roode with a Spear, then abandons MVP once again.
