WWE Royal Rumble 2014 Results

From the butt-hurt crowd reactions to history-making Rumble performances, here are the results to the first pit stop to Wrestlemania XXX!

Kick-off Match for the WWE Tag Team Championship:
The New Age Outlaws defeated The Brotherhood (Cody Rhodes & Goldust) to become SIX TIME WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS OF THE WORLD!!!!

Daniel Bryan vs Bray Wyatt (w/ Luke Harper & Erick Rowan)
In what is called by many as the "Match of the Night". The fans were definitely on the side of one Daniel Bryan. In an amazing match between two wrestlers with great chemistry, Bray Wyatt defeats Daniel Bryan with the "Sister Abigail" and proves himself to be a legit competitor and that his actions do indeed speak louder than his eerie words.

Big Show vs Brock Lesnar
So much for "unloading the heavy artillery"! This match didn't even hit the five minute mark (OFFICIALLY). After so many chair shots before the bell rung and extreme lack of offense from Big Show, Brock was able to muscle up the near 450 pound man and decimate him with his patented "F5" maneuver for the win. After the match, Brock would continue to assault Big Show with two chairs.

WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Randy Orton (c) vs John Cena
In what seems to me one of the most "unanticipated" matches in WWE history, Cena and Orton's long time on-and-off rivalry come to a head for the top title in WWE. What got me in this match was the fact that the fans are still all out for Daniel Bryan and you can tell that they were obviously not into the match. "Steel City" wrestling got it honest, folks. After The Wyatt Family shows up to ringside and distract Cena, Orton pins Cena and retains the title. After the match, The Wyatt Family attacks John Cena, hinting a future match between Cena and Wyatt at Wrestlemania XXX.

My Reaction:
As if the Pittsburgh were already pissed off at the fact that Daniel Bryan wasn't in the Royal Rumble this year, they were even MORE pissed off at the fact that Batista won the whole thing. Uh-oh! This is NOT looking good for WWE.

Let me just say: Roman Reigns f**king KILLED it last night. If you count he and his cohorts Rollins and Ambrose eliminating Khali, he broke Kane's 13 year record. On top of that, he tied the record of the most eliminations at Survivor Series (with Aja Kong, at 4)!

To me, not putting Daniel Bryan in the Royal Rumble was really showing me that sometimes WWE is not doing this to satisfy us, the fans, but to keep their ratings. I mean, the least they could do is hear our cries for the wrestlers that WE want to succeed, so we want have to see the same guys week in and week out.

Even hardcore legend Mick Foley ranted about the Rumble match with this tweet:

To close this article off: WWE needs to listen to us more, read our tweets and Facebook posts more CLOSELY. I mean, what else do we have to do to make our voices heard?!
