Kane hosts the contract signing for the Fatal Four-Way for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Payback, and introduces the four participants: Randy Orton, Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and the champion Seth Rollins. Rollins refuses to get in the ring, and Ambrose calls him out on him. As Roman Reigns signs the contract, Randy Orton says that everyone else at the table is there for the same reason. Everyone else signs, then Rollins asks Kane to sign for him. Kane says he has agreed to sign as his proxy in case he's hurt and can't come to the ring, but refuses to do so since Seth Rollins is standing at the ramp. Rollins then approaches the ring, has Joey Mercury hand him the contract so he can review it, talks trash to all the challengers in an attempt to turn them against one another, then gets in the ring, hands the contract to Kane and argues with him. As they argue, they notice Dean Ambrose is moving all the furniture. Ambrose calls dibs on the table, starting a wild brawl where Superman Punches, RKO's and fists fly, but in the end, Seth Rollins stands tall to end the show.
