Impact Wrestling Results for July 31st, 2014: Destination X Edition

Austin Aries promises he'll become TNA World Heavyweight Champion once again.

Dixie Carter, Ethan Carter III, Rockstar Spud, Snitysky, Rhino and Ezekiel Jackson start the show off and disrespect the crowd. Dixie says she has brought the "true ECW" to TNA. Ethan Carter III makes it known that Big Zeke is now known by his original name, Rycklon. He proposes a final battle against Bully Ray, Devon and Tommy Dreamer, and says that Team Dixie is ready to go to war.

The Wolves (Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards) retain the TNA World Tag Team Championships against The Hardys (Jeff and Matt Hardy). Both teams show respect after the match.

Low Ki is glad to be back in TNA to represent the X Division.

James Storm shows up. He considers Sanada's heel turn last week not as a teacher being turned on, but a student being awakened. He introduces him as a new member of his Redneck Revolution.

Austin Aries and Bobby Roode meet backstage. As Roode wishes Aries luck against Lashley, he admits that Aries was not a fluke when he beat him for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship two years ago.

He can start a riot here in New York City if he wants to. Since EC3 wants to name the time, he'll name the terms: an eight-man, extreme hardcore weapons match. He swears that Dixie Carter will be put through a table.

Kurt Angle talks to Samoa Joe backstage. Angle wishes him luck, then tells an interviewer that Destination X is about to have no limits.
