Generation NXT: NXT Wrestling Results for July 31st, 2014

Tyler Breeze defeated Angelo Dawkins with the Beauty Shot. After the match, he gloats about it, calling it boring and whatnot and boasts about his video (which so happens have an Oscar nomination...) when NXT Champion Adrian Neville interrupts him. He then asks Neville when he will quit cutting corner and let him beat him around the ring for the NXT title. This sets Tyler off as he goes after Neville, only to be met with a series of spinning heel kicks. Neville  goes for  another kick, but Tyler just barely escapes. The segment ends with a staredown between the two.

A #1 Contenders Tag Team Tournament for the NXT Tag Team titles will begin next week to determine the #1 Contenders for The Ascension's Tag titles.

NXT Women's Champion Charlotte defeated Becky Lynch with Bow Down to the Queen.

NXT Tag Team Champions The Ascension (Viktor & Konnor) defeated Mac Miles & Steve Cutler in non-title action.

A video of C.J. Parker's rivalry with Xavier Woods is shown.

Mojo Rawley & Bull Dempsey defeated the debuting team The Mechanics (Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder)

Rich Brennan interviews Bayley, who says she hates to be a "Debbie Downer" or lemon, like Adam Rose, but she was pretty happy to see The BFFs break up, because they were mean to her over the past several months. Now, she has her eyes set on the NXT Women's Champion, since she has pinned the champion in the past. Charlotte interrupts, obviously thinking otherwise.

Adam Rose defeated Tyson Kidd with the inside cradle.
