This edition of Impact has had a turn of uncertainty when it comes to the future of World title contender-ship. What I mean by that is "A-Double" Austin Aries posing as Suicide (which is really portrayed by T.J. Perkins) to win the X Division title for the second time. This was really smart on his part, because he set up "Option C", which gives the X Division the chance to cash in their title to go for the World title. When he revealed to be "Suicide", it was shocking to both Hogan and World Champion Bully Ray. Mostly because of the fact that A-Double's in the Bound For Glory Series and that he's practically cheating his way into a World title shot. The way he portrayed Suicide was great, it really made me think that he was Suicide. I like where this is going, but let's see if Aries' actually able to win the World title for the second time. And if he were to do that, what would that mean for the Bound For Glory series?
It's GutCheck time!: Adam O'Reiher def Brian Howe
This was a short but impressive match for O'Reiher. He made his present known for his immense size and intimidating presence. Howe on the other hand wasn't able to get a good offense going. O'Reiher picked up the win via powerslam over the guitar playing wrestler. We will find out next week if O'Reiher or Howe will get a shot at a TNA contract.
Magnus has a big lead so far in the BFG series with 17 points. Following up with the submission win over Kazarian, he defeats the self-proclaimed "IT Factor" to rack up 7 more points.
First off, I want to say that I'm glad that Mickie James is a heel. It's good to see her take on the villain side of herself again. Brings back memories. She defeated Velvet via the modified STF to retain.
Bound For Glory Series Match: Samoa Joe def Mr. Anderson via submission to ear 10 pts
In what seems to be a good back-and-forth main event, the main highlight is when Samoa Joe was revealed to be the newest member of the reforming Main Event Mafia. He got the back up of Angle & Sting while earn 10 pts via Rear Naked Choke.
Don't just read the results, watch as well for review, for fun, and especially if you missed it!
