No Holds Barred Elimination Match:
Evolution (Triple H, Batista & Randy Orton) vs. The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns)
This match has mainly evolved around The Shield proving themselves humble to Evolution, but Evolution's going to do things their way. Although the Hounds got the win over Evolution at Extreme Rules, they feel like they needed to prove themselves even more to the veterans. On RAW, there was a contract signing for their match, but Triple H warned them that they were signing their death warrants, but in typical Shield fashion, they went along with it anyways and everything has now fell into place for their match at Payback!
Winner: Although I will ALWAYS Believe in The Shield, I feel that it is nearing the end of the road for the Hounds and Evolution winning this match may begin the end for The Shield. So, shockingly, I'm going with Evolution.
Last Man Standing:
Bray Wyatt (w/ Luke Harper & Erick Rowan) vs. John Cena
For the third consecutive pay-per-view, these two enemies will go at it again as Bray Wyatt continues his mission to rid WWE (and the world) of Cenation once and for all. As of late, Bray has been hypnotizing the WWE Universe by serenading them with his rendition of "He's Got The Whole World In His Hands." Also, Cena has gained allies in the WWE Tag Team Champions, The Usos. Will The Usos be at Cena's side at Payback, or will Cena have to face the odds by himself?
Winner: I have strong feeling that Bray Wyatt's going to win this one!
Intercontinental Championship:
Bad News Barrett (c) vs. Rob Van Dam
Since winning the Intercontinental title for a fourth time from Big E. at Extreme Rules, Bad News Barrett has been on a tremendous roll, and looks to continue it against his opponent for this pay-per-view, Rob Van Dam. But, with Van Dam being a former 6-time IC Champion himself and having almost two decades of experience, will he use those components to his advantage to unseat the champ?
Winner: RVD, I'm afraid I've got some BAD NEWS... Barrett retains.
United States Championship:
Sheamus (c) vs. Cesaro (w/ Paul Heyman)
Since gaining the managerial services of Paul Heyman (the advocate of the man who broke Undertaker's streak, Brock Lesnar, just in case you forgot), he's been more dominate and riding an impressive streak., but he's also been getting under the skin of the current United States Champion, Sheamus. Although Sheamus tried to shake his hand after losing to him fair and square, Cesaro constantly taunts him, which is what led up to this match at Payback!
Winner: Despite the momentum of "The King of Swing", I see the "Celtic Warrior" retaining.
Pre-Show:
Mask vs. Hair Match:
El Torito (w/ Los Matadores) vs. Hornswoggle (w/ 3MB)
What do you get when you have two angry midget wrestlers who are dying to get their hands on each other? You get a Mask vs. Hair Match! There is nothing more prideful to a Luchador than his mask, so when his mask is on the line, expect more than you're use to by El Torito. On a side note, their WeeLC match wasn't as bad as I thought. It was actually very entertaining! Also, I would kill to see the midget commentary team again!
Winner: I see El Torito keeping his mask, and Hornswoggle losing his hair!
Divas Championship:
Paige (c) vs. Alicia Fox
It's funny how the first woman that the Divas Champion faced on the roster is the first woman that handed her first main roster loss... in her home country. That woman is the now unpredictable Alicia Fox. The woman who goes nuts when she loses a match and even wins one. She even gave a guy a wedgie and took JBL's signature cowboy hat. Does that explain enough?
Winner: I see Paige retaining, maybe Fox will get another reign in the future?
Singles Match:
Big E. vs. Rusev (w/ Lana)
Oh, hail Russian supremacists and WWE's Ivan and Ludmilla Drago, Lana and Rusev as Rusev has the test of taking on another powerhouse in his own right, Big E. This all started when Lana confronted "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan and America. She sent Rusev after Duggan, but was caught by Big E. before gaining the upper hand again. What will happen when these two agile big men clash?
Winner: I'll have to go with Rusev on this one.
