Impact Wrestling Results for July 4th, 2013

What a way that I can celebrate Independence Day by tuning in to the July 4th Edition of Impact Wrestling! Here are the results:

"The Lone Wolf" A.J. Styles defeats Kazarian via Submission to earn 10 pts and moves him up to 4th place with 12 pts.

So much for trying to make a statement, Kaz.

Hernandez defeated TNA Gut Check winner Jay Bradley to earn 7 pts, bumping his up to 5th place, tied with Aries, Daniels, and Anderson.

TNA World Tag Team Champions James Storm & Gunner defeated newly formed tag team of Jessie Godderz & Robbie E., known as The "Bro Mans". Tara was at ringside. One question: what possessed someone to come up with that name?!

Jeff Hardy defeats Jospeh Park via DQ to earn 2 pts, bumping him up to 3rd place behind Magnus & Samoa Joe with 14 pts.

Heel turn for Park, or will Abyss take his place in the BFG Series?

Main Event 3 Way for the X Division Championship In probably one of the most memorable X Divsion matches in recent memory, Chris Sabin defeated Austin Aries to win the title for a 6th time, tying with A.J. Styles and Jay Lethal for the most reigns.

Something to think about: what was the point of Sabin dropping the title to Aries just for him to win it right back the next week?

Also, why did they decide to change the name from "Suicide" to "Manik". Dude, that's like breaking an X Division and gimmick legacy!

Mickie James is on the top of a ladder cutting a promo about the #1 Contenders Ladder match between rivals Gail Kim and Taryn Terrell. Looks kinda similar to a certain WWE Diva's promo, eh? Anyways she talks about how she ready for her opponent and she will defeat them to retain the KO's Title.

The Gut Check judges holds the futures of Ryan Howe and Adam O'Rihner in their hands. They eliminate O'Rihner, despite him winning the match last week. They would then eliminate Howe, with 2 No's and 1 Yes.

The Main Event Mafia is here and the 4th member of the family is revealed to be no other than Magnus!
