We kick off the show with the drawing of the first Joker's Wild qualifying match. They first match saw Joseph Park teaming up with Jeff Hardy to take on A.J. Styles and "The Samoan Submission Machine" Samoa Joe.
A.J. Styles & Samoa Joe def Jeff Hardy & Joseph Park (Joe submits Park to earn 10 pts).
Ironically, Jeff Hardy finds himself tagging with the man that he defeated via Disqualification. Vice versa, A.J. Styles has to team up with long time rival and MEM member Samoa Joe.
Joe makes Joseph Park tap out to his signature Rear Naked Choke to earn himself 10 pts and he and Styles advances.
Mr. Anderson & Magnus def Jay Bradley & Hernandez
Here's another match that can live up to the definition of "ironic" as the draw pit an Aces & Eights member and a MEM member as a team. I'm referring to Mr. Anderson and Magnus. Turns out, they actually worked pretty well together, as Magnus picked up the win via Pinfall, adding 7 points to his score and his team advances.
Bobby Roode & Kazarian def Christopher Daniels & Austin Aries
This was the most ironic one of them all. Beforehand, there was an backstage segment between the two teams (Dirty Heels & Bad Influence), stating that they were going to head one another. But, they all had different partners. I found it really entertaining.
Kazarian picks up the wins for his team to advance and 7 pts to his score.
#1 Contender's Ladder Match: Gail Kim def Taryn Terrell to become #1 contender
I can't blame Mickie James for showing jealousy towards these two rivals. After an amazing match at Slammiversary, the two once again steal the show with this ladder match.
Highlights of the match include Gail executing a figure four leglock on the steel ladder, Taryn performs a diving crossbody off the 15-foot ladder, and Gail actually tying Taryn's hair into the ropes and climibng the ladder to grab the contract for the win.
BFG Series Gauntlet-Elimination match: Magnus pins Bobby Roode to earn 25 pts
Coming in with 7 pts latched in his belt from earlier that night, MEM member Magnus would go on to continue his huge momentum by pinning Bobby Roode to win 25 pts, gaining a total score of 32 points in one night!
Here it is, since I can't upload it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=t5YvIJulfe8
Segments
Aries and Bobby Roode talk about their Bound For Glory progress and how they can't stand "Bad Influence". Bad Influence then shows up and talks about how luck is on their side.
Daniels: "Like the Hunger Games, the odds is always in our favor.". Okay.....
The vote for the Aces & Eights VP is up!
Meanwhile, Hulk Hogan is concerned about his daughter Brooke when it comes it Bully Ray. She says that now she wants to focus on business, and that she would handle personal business after the show.
The new VP is Mr. Anderson, after Knux breaks the tie of votes. D.O.C. is then pissed at Knux, who only looks at him and says "It's about the team."
Hulk Hogan comes out and talks about next week's Destination X. He calls out X Division Champion Chris Sabin to make his final decision. Bully Ray then comes out and says that him and Brooke have unfinished business and warns Sabin not to cash in the title or it would be his last match. Sabin then reminisces about his rivalry with Team 3D while he was teaming with Sabin as the Motorcity Machine Guns, and how they defeated them and how he's the only wrestler in 3D's storied history to kick out of their "3D" finisher. After that, he cashes in the title, and Bully says that he will not only, deal with him, but the rest of the gang who comes out. They are then interrupted by the Main Event Mafia. Sting says that Chris Sabin will not go against all of Aces & Eights, but that he will face Bully Ray alone. The newest member of the Mafia was revealed to be Rampage Jackson.
