Review:

Sup, everyone and welcome to the January 24, 2015 edition of the Ring of Honor Wrestling review. First off, let me just apologize for not review ROH last week. That was a total bummer on my part. Now, the key things I am going to shine some light on in this review are: a shocking debut, continuation of the Top Prospect Tournament, and Alberto El Patron's in-ring debut. Without further ado, lets get down to it!

A Shocking Debut...

This episode of Ring of Honor Wrestling started off with a bang when long-time rivals The Briscoes and The Kingdom faced off in tag team action. The Briscoes scored the DQ win when The Kingdom just blatantly attacked one of the bros with the "Title of Love". The highlight of the whole entire melee is when freaking ODB made her debut in Ring of Honor, with her eyes set on the self-proclaimed Queen, Maria Kanellis-Bennett. To take you guys back a couple years, Maria entered a rivalry with perhaps one of the best female wrestlers to ever lace up a pair of boots: Sara Del Rey. Unfortunately, their rivalry was suddenly put to a halt when Del Rey signed a contract with the WWE as the female trainer for WWE's developmental territory, NXT. Now, it seems that history is sort of repeating itself, and hopefully, we can get some length into this newly created female rivalry and hopefully we can  see a one-on-one encounter between these two ladies? Either way, I'm all for ODB in ROH, and as she says, she is One. Dirty. Briscoe.

Continuation of the Top Prospect Tournament!

Round one of the Top Prospect Tournament continues with young gun Mikey Webb taking on the 12-year veteran (and the man with insanely low levels of hygienics, so it seems) The Beer City Bruiser! Needless to say, this match was a hard-hitting one, especially with The BCB dominating a great portion of the match (it took Webb most of the match to knock the 300-pounder of his feet). Webb was able to get some offense in, but the Bruiser was almost always there to stop his momentum... yikes! The Beer City Bruiser gains the victory to advance to the semi-finals. I don't know about guys, but this guy is definitely one of my favorites to win the tournament... all bad hygiene aside.

Alberto El Patron's in-ring debut!

FINALLY! Alberto El Paaaaaaaaatron makes his highly-anticipated debut against one of the founding fathers of Ring of Honor, Christopher Daniels. Man, this match was a classic! El Patron has not missed a beat and to be perfectly honest, ROH may just be the company that can bring out the absolute best in him. I did not thikin for one second that the main event would be as incredible as it was. A definite five star match, indeed. But, the 800-pound Gorilla in the ring was the fact that the Television Champion Jay Lethal was on commentary during the match and demanded an apology for the way Alberto so-called "disrespected" him last week. El Patron won the match with his signature armbar and afterwards, he and Lethal face off in the ring once again, this time El Patron handing him a taste of his own medicine by attacking him. Lethal's H.OT. stablemates  J. Diesel and Truth Martini come down to the ring to take out El Patron but The Addiction send them running for the hills!

I must say, I am interested to see where this feud goes. I'm more than positive that these two will face off one-on-one in the ring, and when it happens, it will definitely be a match to watch!

Well, that's it for this week, folks. I'll be back next week with another ROH review. HONOR LIVES!
