WWE Monday Night RAW Results for June 30th, 2014

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon show up in a good mood - being that Stephanie's in her hometown of Hartford, Connecticut. They hype Seth Rollins winning the Money In The Bank contract last night. Triple H even went as far as to calling him a "A+ Player". They also hype John Cena's win last night, in which Cena comes out. He says that he will give Daniel Bryan a shot at the titles as soon as he returns, and hopes to see him soon. Stephanie, who tries to brush off Cena giving Bryan a title shot, reveals that he will be on the cover of WWE 2K15, Triple H mocks  Cena. Triple H announces Cena vs. Roman Reigns vs. Kane vs. Randy Orton in a Fatal 4 Way for Battleground. It will be Reigns and Cena vs. Kane and Orton later tonight. Cena leaves and out comes Seth Rollins on the ramp with his briefcase, stating that there is always a "Plan B"...

Seth Rollins defeated Rob Van Dam with the curb stomp. Renee Young then interviews him about his win at Money In The Bank last night, saying that we were just bitter that "he was right, and he was wrong". Dean Ambrose shows up on the TitanTron apparently not upset about what happened last night, and "from one scuumbag to another, this isn't over". He stated that every time Seth thinks about cashing in, he's going to be there and that there's no contract in his briefcase - that it's TNT and it's going to explode every time Rollins attempts to cash in.

Back from the break and out comes Lana with Rusev. Lana says Rusev's last opponent was a failure but that's OK because America is used to failure. Fans boo her and start a "USA" chant. Lana mocks them and yells to shut up. She goes on and gets more boos by showing Vladimir Putin on the big screen. She says no one can stop the onslaught of Russia and the onslaught of Rusev. She asks who will be America's next failure to compete against Rusev. A big "USA" chant starts up. Jack Swagger's music hits and out he comes with Zeb Colter to a pop. Zeb Colter is tired of Lana's repeated blasting of America and tells her to just shut the hell up! He also points out that she's allowed to say the thing that she does, because we have something in America called "Freedom of Speech". Lana laughs intensely as if this was all a big joke to her. He also thinks that Jack Swagger can stop the "Rusev Crush". Zeb, Swagger, and the audience in attendance proudly shouts "WE THE PEOPLE!" and the segment ends with Swagger gaining the upper hand on Rusev.

The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper & Erick Rowan) defeated Sheamus & The Usos.

Tom Phillips interviews Nikki Bella. He asks her reaction of her sister, Brie Bella being escorted out of the building at Money In The Bank. Nikki thinks that it wasn't a mistake to invite her at all. Stephanie then interrupts and says that she and Brie will have a match against The Funkadactyls (Naomi & Cameron), but- oops! Brie doesn't work for WWE anymore, so Nikki will have to go alone in a 2-on-1 Handicap Match.

Before the break, we see a limousine arrive backstage. Which returning megastar is in the limo? We'll just have to wait and see...

Bo Dallas shows up. He asks us for what seems to be the longest 60 seconds of silence for our "Fallen Warriors", being Bad News Barrett and Daniel Bryan. He says that he was the voice of inspiration for Daniel Bryan, and he was ultimately the bigger man at the Money In The Bank pre-show after being called a "BOner" by Daniel Bryan and the fans. He tells us to don't stop bo-lieving and Nikki Bella's music cuts him off as she comes out for her 2-on-1 Hanidcap match.

The Funkadactyls (Naomi & Cameron) defeated Nikki Bella when Naomi scores the pin. Tensions boil between The Funkadactyls after the match, because it seems that Cameron wanted to make the pin.

Jack Swagger's attack on Bad News Barrett from last week's Smackdown is being shown. It is announced that Bad News Barrett will be out of action for several months as a result and there will now be a battle royal at Battleground to determine a new Intercontinental Champion.

Kofi Kingston defeated Cesaro as we comes back from commercial. Cesaro brutally attacks Kofi after the match.

We see Santino Marella backstage talking to his Cobra about how nobody showed up to his summer party. Adam Rose appears and pours some Twisted Tea in Santino's cup. The Rosebuds appear and now Santino has a party.

We come back and Cole appears to be fine but he's selling. He says he's never seen Cesaro like that. We see Hulk Hogan's congratulatory tweet to John Cena. Still to come: John Cena & Roman Reigns vs. Randy Orton & Kane!

Vince McMahon's music hits to a big pop from WWE's home state crowd. Instead, Damien Sandow comes out and he's dressed as Vince McMahon. Sandow welcomes us to RAW like Vince would. Sandow does a great promo and says he's built a sports entertainment because he sees talents like Hulk Hogan, Triple H, Steve Austin and a man who is the most talented to ever step foot in the ring, a man who everyone is too ignorant to appreciate, Damien Sandow. He enters himself into the Battleground Battle Royal. If anyone has a problem with that, they're fired. Stephanie appears on the big screen and asks Sandow who the hell he thinks he is. She's upset and goes off on Sandow. She says Vince built this business by toppling giants so tonight, Sandow will have the same opportunity. His match is now and it's against another battle royal participant.

Damien Sandow is defeated by the returning Great Khali!

The door of the limousine opens up...

Justin Roberts introduces the returning former WWE Champion and out comes... The Miz. He takes the mic and says he's back, asking if fans missed him. The reaction is mixed. He says he's the multi-talented Superstar that's been teased. He's been in Hollywood shooting The Marine 4 and was tempted to stay in Hollywood. He says producers and agents were calling him with lots of offers. He says they told him he was better than WWE and could be Hollywood's biggest star. He says he's back because of the fans. Because the WWE Universe doesn't see him as an A-list talent. He says fans see him as a fluke and take him for granted. Miz says they're all wrong and goes on bragging. He says he won't leave WWE until he's once again main eventing WrestleMania and gets the respect he deserves. He's not leaving until fans are on their knees begging him not to go. The pyro goes off and out comes Chris Jericho to a huge pop.

The music stops and a big chant for Jericho breaks out. Miz asks if Jericho has something to say and disses his last return. The Miz says he's important, he's an actor, he's a box office draw, he's a... Jericho lays him out with a Codebreaker. Fans chant for Jericho again. Jericho takes the mic and says damn that felt good. He's been waiting a long time to say these words. "RAW Is..." the lights go out and The Wyatt Family graphic appears. The lights come back on and Jericho is surrounded in the ring. Bray attacks first and they beat him down. Bray nails Sister Abigail and stands over a beaten Jericho.

Dolph Ziggler defeated Fandango after a kiss from Summer Rae. After the match, Ziggler look on at Summer Rae as it  seems there may be some feelings developing between the two.

Stardust & Goldust defeated RybAxel (Ryback & Curtis Axel).

Out comes WWE Divas Champion Paige to the ring...

Paige takes the mic and says she's a woman of few words. She says she usually lets her actions speak for her. She knows some people don't think she deserves to be a champion and that she should probably go back down to NXT but she feels that she deserves to be here after the past three months. Paige says she's proven that she's here to stay. She's interrupted by AJ Lee. AJ comes out skipping to the ring to a huge pop.

AJ takes the mic and the "CM Punk" chants begin. AJ says Paige is right. She says it's not easy for her to say but Paige is right. She did what no woman could do in a year, proved AJ wrong. AJ goes on but Paige doesn't buy it. She asks how stupid AJ thinks she is. Paige says she will not make the same mistake AJ did. Another CM Punk chant breaks out and it flusters Paige. She says she doesn't think anyone wants to see her defend tonight and they start a "yes!" chant. AJ Lee asks the crowd again and they cheer. We've got a match.

A.J. Lee defeated Paige (much like the same way Paige defeated A.J. the night after Wrestlemania XXX) to become a two-time Divas Champion!

Triple H will be watching the main event from ringside.

John Cena  & Roman Reigns defeated Kane & Randy Orton by disqualification. After the match, Kane lays out John Cena with the Tombstone Piledriver and the referee calls for doctors to check on Cena. Triple H shakes Cena's arm to see if he's okay, only to motion for Seth Rollins to come out and attempt to cash in his contract! While Triple H is arguing with the referee to start the match, Dean Ambrose ambushes Rollins and sends him running through the crowd. Kane grabs a steel chair to inflict more damage on Cena only to be a met by a Spear from Reigns. Reigns and Triple H have a staredown before Triple H steps down from the apron and leaves the ring continuing to stare down Reigns to end the show.
